  • The Contraceptive-Induced Menstrual Changes (CIMC) Community of Practice is a group of researchers, policymakers, implementers, providers, and advocates from the fields of menstrual health, family planning, and sexual and reproductive health dedicated to:
    1. Conducting and sharing research related to all the ways contraception impacts the baseline menstrual cycle,
    2. Contributing to publications and resources around the topic of CIMCs, and
    3. Increasing awareness and galvanizing support and action around CIMCs.
We are hosting our quarterly meeting on Monday, 30 September, 2 UTC, and would like to extend an invitation to anyone interested in this topic. This meeting is particularly exciting because Moazzam Ali from the World Health Organization will be presenting on a recently published systematic review assessing the impact of hormonal contraceptive use on menstrual health among women of reproductive age. More details about this meeting are included below.
    Meeting Agenda:
    10:00am: Welcome and CoP Updates
10:10am: Partner Presentation: Assessing the impact of hormonal contraceptive use on menstrual health among women of reproductive age - a systematic review, Moazzam Ali, WHO
