@@TheFishingCoach it little rock, but I fish down south and all over. I have fished degray before. In a tournament in PB today... But I need some tips so I would like to fish with you and learn the state some
The only success I’ve had w/ the Krej is holding the rod tip high & swimming it along the surface. It seems to work since the largemouth have become so accustomed to other topwater lures. Do this & be ready for some blowups when they’re schooling.
I used the Krej at Dale Hollow last week but only cast a few times. I had the new Berkley Finisher & a flutter spoon tied on. Saw fish on sonar deep and hit a few largemouth on flutter spoon so tried the Finisher, same area, hit the largemouth but lost several at surface, it has small hooks. Folks are getting smallmouth on the shore at 20 to 25 foot with Float-n-fly and shiners so I cast the Krej up there a few times and thought I saw some fish close to the bottom so I cast the Finisher and had a huge smallmouth, lost him after he did a tail dance on the surface, I didn’t give the Krej a fair shake because I had so much action on the Finisher, but I will try it again.
The best part of this report was that it came from a guy I trust. But I am saying he figures it out quickly. I would pay a lot for a 12lber in Arkansas. That should have been an Arkansas Share Lunker. But I guess that only happens in TEXAS.
They should of made it suspending so you could make it do what you want, Add some weight if you want it to sink. I got one and it just falls to fast.Maybe for warmer water but I think it's terrible for winter
I like Ike but he pushes Berkley that hard he just about turned me off this lure. Regardless I purchased 2 and have fished them flat out the last few weeks. Iv not had great success and I believe iv got the action down pat. The hits I have got is from single fish held up in structure that if you persist enough hit it out of aggressive annoyance. Not because they are feeding. Iv found if they’re feeding this lure just doesn’t do what prey should do. And that’s swim back at the very thing that is trying to eat them.
I have an update video to the KREJ! WE figured out how and when to fish it! Check it out!

I hope no one figures it out. It’s my new secret
😂
Dude that 12.6 was amazing. I bet that moment was incredibly special for both of y'all.
For sure! Still at times like.... did this happen??
The video I've been waiting for! Definitely something to figure out. I'm looking forward to getting a couple and trying them out! Great stuff Jimi!
Thanks! I hope to get some fish catches with it soon... they did not want it at Ouachita yesterday either....
Lets go. I would love to have you in my boat. Im in Arkansas now. Let's go!
Sweet! What part of the state?

Be ready for a video with krej action soon! I already filmed it. You are correct with what you shared. I have a few other ways too👍🏽
Loving these video dude. I definitely want to try this lure. Not sure how well it will do in Southern California
Sweet! Glad you enjoy! I am trying a variety of videos on the channel. I bet they will have a time to work down there for sure!

Sweet! Thanks for sharing your experience with the finisher.
Haven't gotten to try it yet, but I did buy one. I am hoping to try it out soon, I'll let ya know how it works for me.
Sweet! Let me know
That thing is crazy. My head is exploding.
😳
Great video, I’ve fished with it a couple times now, I had way better luck deeper in the water column when the fish were closer to the bottom.
I see that for sure being able to pull fish off of the bottom. How deep were those fish?
16-18 feet
Perfect. Thanks for sharing
Congrats on that monster by the way, that’s awesome!!!!!
Congrats on the twelve + !!!
Appreciate it!!

Maybe one day….

Me too the line kept hooking around the hook any suggestions
That happened to me a few times as well…
the jackall riser does the same thing and has been out for many years. does the same thing...
I'll try it, but the Jackall Riser is hard to beat.
Appreciate the feedback. I need to give it a try
Good luck finding them buddy, if you do let me know.@@TheFishingCoach
@@TheFishingCoachgreat bait when the fish are keyed in on really small shad
I put in the same class as the banjo minnow😂😂😅
hahaha
👍👍👍👍👍
👍🏽👍🏽
That 12 .6 looked odd. Like if it was filled out more it would be 15-16 lbs. Had a huge head
No it was thick. About 28 inches. 21.5 in girth. Pics did not die justice
My question, does it have a back up alarm built in? LOL
funny!
@@TheFishingCoach I always see backward swimming minnows. I know it should look like a dying shad.
To me it is a top water bait. A copy of jackal riser
Looks like lucky craft top water bait. Forget what they call it
Your right!

I like the response! The backward motion is interesting for sure! But … prey typically just does not float back toward the bass.
Unfortunately I hate spend money on Berkley cause ther more expensive then others
