Thank you for this video, new subscriber here. I've been wanting to purchase some of these but have been waiting for someone to actually show the durability because they are expensive so thank you for showing how easy they tear up, I think I'll wait for Zman to come out with something similar that will actually last.
PRO Tip: Cover them with a really light coat of clear silicone and you can use the same one for hours.I fish Okeechobee catching 3-5 pounders and they stay intact with no issues whatsoever..I use the same one over and over again..
So I had the same problem with them ripping and what I did was melt a red senko and fill the gaps with the red rubber. it took some effort to make it look like wounds but it held it back together for at least another fish.. Solid business model though, will catch fish and will make you want to buy more
Sounds like a great idea for repairing such a fragile soft plastic like this, in fact I already have the tools necessary for putting them back together
I mean, don't get me wrong. I still bought more after this video. Cause they do catch fish. And i'm just gonna keep toying with it until I find a better way for them the last
Have you tried a jig head with a straight shank hook or hover rig it? If going weedless maybe a larger wire hook? Weedless is always rough on worms especially soft plastic ones. Most likely they went with a soft plastisol on this lure to get a lot of action out of it… of coarse they want us to just buy more and more lol
You should try them in saltwater here in Florida. I've been getting my limit of snook on the panorama every time I go out. They just inhale them! I've been using the live gizzard pattern because it has a bit more flash that gets their attention. You'll need to bring along a few extra cause the other toothier fish we have totally shred them! 😮
@SetFreeFishing you are a man of God show a little more respect to God's creatures instead of just throwing them back, I agree fish have a better survival rate with a soft release not only that its respecting the animal and handling them with care, If you can't accept constructive criticism then you'll never grow....with all due respect.
Yes I have I have it in one of my videos. I think I caught a 5 or 6lb on it. 2/0 ewg with a nail weight in the belly it will swim straight up and down or you can nose hook it just won't be weedless that way
For baits that tear easily, i prefer using the biggest sizes...For these baits, i use the 5" in the bluegill colors & 6.5", 9" in the shad/crappie colors....i look at it, if they aren't very durable then i want big fish to make it worth the price...far better chance to catch 4+ lb. Bass on the bigger baits...throwing the smaller sizes more likely to get small bass & for the price isn't worth a 1-2lb. Bass tearing it apart
Great video! I bought several packs a couple of weeks ago. I rigged one Texas and threw it in my pool to check the action. Then rigged it weightless and it would barely hold the hook after 3 hook changes. Sig damage done to the Pano and it was unusable at that point. Loved the way it looked but I was concerned about what your video shows. Thanks for posting it!
Still pretty much use them in various ways. Pair really well on a shakey head, a willow blade chatter from z man and Texas rig and use mend it when they tare
Only messing with ya but watch ur video, U kept saying 6th scent. On serious note Im like you, cant drop alot of $ on baits. I have a way to turn any swimbait into a line thru that lasts nd Im down in Fl. Gambler Big EZ, etc.
Just watched a video where Ben Milliken added some superglue or something. It would be nice if they could make the heads a little tougher. I was thinking add some fibers in the plastic (concrete guys,I think you know what I'm talking about) during the manufacturing process I was also thinking of trying to repair with clear silicone. That would have to be done at home so it would dry.
I still bought the new smaller ones to try. But if durability is the main focus to not use a bait you would have to get rid of all of Gary Yamamoto and googans soft plastics
@@SetFreeFishing it's not just durability. They're paper thin. Drop shot is all I can do with em. The bigger ones look very good. I'm a huge fan of 13. Only bait I've been unhappy with so far. The speed wake is awesome. The cranks are awesome. The Dine swimbait is A++. Just felt like this one shouldn't have been made that small. 2.8. that's the one I'm talking about. Not any other. Haven't fished them. With you on Yama. Won't touch Googan at all. The senko is a certified bag filler, so I'm good with the durability. If the bigger panorama is similarly effective, durability won't matter. The smaller one does get bit a bunch.
Z-Man needs to make something like this. Elaztec won’t tear like that. It’s a bummer because that bait looks so real.
Yeah and they straight smash it when they hit cause they think it's real
Only video showing actual catches. Much appreciated! 👍🎣🏆
Appreciate it brother
Z-man are you watching?

@atoadigi don't get me wrong they catch fish so if you're dialed in on big fish then it's worth it. Or buy some mend it glue with them

Heck yeah appreciate it
Great honest review. I got a pack of them, but haven’t got them out yet. I’ll be getting some big shaky heads it looks like. Thanks for sharing!
Love 6. Panorama are awesome. Great video. I love the orange lews xfinity combos so much.
@jordankane2606 thanks brother appreciate it
Great intro and video. Just hit the like and also just subscribed to your channel for future vids. Keep them coming and best of luck to you.
@bloodlinefishingadventuresllc awesome brother I really appreciate the support. I have a ton of videos since this one
I use a twist lock with superglue. Same pano for several trips with close to 30 fish.
So I had the same problem with them ripping and what I did was melt a red senko and fill the gaps with the red rubber. it took some effort to make it look like wounds but it held it back together for at least another fish..

Heck yeah might have to try that.

I could hear the disappointment when you were lamenting on how easily it tore up. I feel you, they're kinda pricey for a 1 fish deal
I mean, don't get me wrong. I still bought more after this video. Cause they do catch fish. And i'm just gonna keep toying with it until I find a better way for them the last

I've tried every style you cam think of brother they all tear pretty quick I'm just gonna get some mend it lol
Yes. TW is out of stock. They’ll email when they’re back in stock but who knows when that will be.

@farmerjohn2262 that's awesome brother. I'll keep that in mind but I only saltwater fish like once every few years
Wonder how the inu rig would do on this soft plastic?
yah, they going to have to make it tougher for me to get them
Are there any other alternatives to this bait, that look/work just the same?
@@jasonworkman7912 not that I've seen it's a one of a kind and catches fish. I bought more and soft plastic glue lol
@SetFreeFishing I literally just bought some as I was watching your video lol
Awesome the small ones are great chatterbait trailer too. Buy some mend it glue
I love way it looks in water, just haven’t figured out how to rig yet. A lot of grass where I fish n just don’t like Texas with it.
Shakey head would work great for you. The owner magnum Shakey head from tackle warehouse works great with them
I would try a screw lock hoo. I saw i vid where a guy used a scew lock and they seemed to hold up pretty good.
Awesome
That orange setup is really nice! Whats combo is that???
@@mrt.montyfpv1260 the lews xfinity
Awesome intro and video
@@ellisblanton thank you
Fish generally have a higher survival rate if you do a soft release.
Ain't seen one dead fish so I'm gonna do what I do

@@vega4197those fish aren’t going to die because they were tossed back in the water
Have you had success on the ghillie? I could never figure out how to rig it, must have ten packs stuffed some where

Same thing happened to me too expensive to be tearing that easy
Magnum dropshot,power shot.
nice video man!
Appreciate it
If durability important to you…have you tried Zman baits or others that use the elastech sp? technology? Just a thought…
I have but I don't really like the elaztec
6th sense line through screw heads would allow the screw head and bait to slide up the line.
Seems like zwg w some super glue might do justice
great review, man
Appreciate it brother
What size was that in the panorama
I think it was the 5.0 or 7.5
Pull that screen down with fires and run. You somewhat super glue on it and screw it in there.
??
14:20 Sixth sense always seemed kind of pricey to me, but I support Ben Milliken so I don't mind buying a few things.
Huh? 6th sense is probably close to the cheapest company on the market especially for the quality of baits they have
Nice catch what size line were you using
10 and 12
Thanks
What size shaky head hook you using? Texas rigged shaky head?
I used 2 sizes but the 3/8 shakey head by owner was the best. They are on sale at tackle warehouse right now
It's the Owner stick bait shakey head 3/8 with 5/0 hook

Wrong spot. My bad!
Thanks for your comment brother glad you enjoyed the video
The silence after that first break off was loud af😅
😂🤣😂
try a true turn hook. there old school hook, night crawler hook in 3/0 to 4/0.
Honestly it has nothing to do with the hook it's just how soft the bait is. I appreciate the suggestion though
ok, it looks soft@@SetFreeFishing
Get some mend it and you can glue them back
After 6 months, have you found. Setup you like with these, yet?
Still pretty much use them in various ways. Pair really well on a shakey head, a willow blade chatter from z man and Texas rig and use mend it when they tare
cool name man
Thanks brother I appreciate that. It was God inspired. I racked my brain for weeks for a channel name and boom God gave me SetFreeFishing
good to here, the clear water looks good, can't to try some striper/ rock bass fishing@@SetFreeFishing
Subscribing just for the handle
Appreciate it brother
I had the same initial thought when i saw tha Panorama.
Realistic super soft bait but, man its gonna tear fast.
Definitely tares easy on a ewg Texas rig. Great on a shakey head though
Yeah, but it does catch fish when nothing else will. Get some bait mend. Super glue hardens and won't allow hook penetration.
I’d like to connect bro, on a fishing ministry.
Well maybe we can make something happen in the coming year
6th sense! Not 6th scent. Just Fyi brother.
Try it as a Line thru. Think ul make em last longer.
@jrgoins9453 what are you talking about pretty sure it says 6th sense everywhere on my page
Only messing with ya but watch ur video, U kept saying 6th scent.

I cant post my way of setting up, dont want everybdy knowing my secrets. Wld love to see in 1 of ur videos nd what ya think about it
Awesome video, U were on the fish. Just hard watching a good looking bait only hold up to 1 fish.
@jrgoins9453 yeah I've tried the line through and several other techniques all with close to same results
Maybe a little super glue on the nose to the shaky head?
Yeah they cloud possibly do the trick
Just watched a video where Ben Milliken added some superglue or something.

Nkt happy at all. We ordered some for our shop and they're not good. Too thin, no durability at all. 1 bait=1 fish. Not worth $1.50 a bait.
I still bought the new smaller ones to try. But if durability is the main focus to not use a bait you would have to get rid of all of Gary Yamamoto and googans soft plastics
