Whenever I see belts that are tight and loose on the same fan I usually check pulley alignment. Also I see some times people will use different brand belts or one old belt and one new belt. I've noticed tension can vary just depending on the belt brand. Both the pulleys does look fairly old I always change those fixed bore pulleys to taper-lock pulleys. Nice video man!
Thanks mate. I tried to visually align them because I wasn’t in my car that day and didn’t have a straight edge on me. 100% haha I’ve requested the taper lock pulleys for replacement. That’s good to know about belts and different tension with different brands! Thanks for that
Hey mate I had the same drama at 8:20 2 brand new belts identical size (apac unit) One loose af the other firm. Couldn’t work it out but had other calls. Did you end up confirming it was the pulley with uneven wear? Thanks so much!

This wasn’t a regular site of mine so I wasn’t the one who ended up going back to fix it. I never saw anything come through again about it
