I'd be suspect of your isolator. Definitely weird if you didn't have power before. Maybe pull out the switch and check the contacts, springs etc- possible corrosion/water ingress.
I’ve used rebuilt ones in the past. Usually for larger refrigeration equipment. I’ve thought about keeping some to rebuild. It’s all about finding the time 😂
