Had a horror story similar to this a few months back.
Replaced a 25kw condenser water package unit for a comms room.
After commissioning it would have this same issue but with the indoor fan.
Would complete a cycle but then the indoor fan wouldn’t start up on the next 2 cycles as the thermal overloads were open causing the system to go out on LP and sometimes locking itself out.
Had Temperzone onsite for it and even they were scratching their head.
Was a nightmare for so many days we would rectify things and it would keep happening.
So much sleep lost and anxiety just being close to the site.
This head scratcher hits close to home

Oh man, I feel you on that one. Issues like that can drive you mad 😂 We’re Temperzone able to rectify the issue?

Seems like an electrical issue but also watch for oil leaking out the transducer body into the wiring loom where it clips on too.

I didn’t notice any oil but it will be something I’ll look out for. Cheers.

use a 9volt battery to test the fan motor. it will run at full load.

Killing the power corrupting some flash or other parameters causing the boards to misbehave maybe? Very odd…

This is my thought too. This entire site has power issues, but this is the only unit going through boards. Once they don’t need to isolate the unit to carry out testing and are no longer using a generator it will be interesting to see if the issues persists .
