TFS what a Delicious presentation 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 Dear sis, you can also cook it faster and softer in a pressure cooker. I cook about thirteen balls in my electric pressure cooker for an hour, or triple that amount in a larger manual pressure cooker…👌🏾
I'm indigenous to Canada and have no idea how this would taste but I have just been fascinated with all of Africas cultures and foods. So Awesome! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for taking us through the prep of this delicious kenke recipe . I remember eating it as a child in my neighbor’s house in Nigeria 😀. I will definitely try it out.
Thank you for this recipe.I love Ga Kenkey and I guess this recipe is going to give me a professional touch.God bless you for your amazing support to the entire world.

Thank you so🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🥰 much sister for sharing your expertise, as a lover of kenkey I'll now be able to make it myself, Yah willing. Sending much love from London Uk ❤💛💚
This is a very interesting dish. I have never heard or even tasted Ga Kenkey before. Although, it looks delicious, I probably won't make it. The meal requires too much work for me! But thanks for sharing.❤
I have so many questions about this dish. I've never heard of Kenkey before. I'd like to see a full video of Kenkey from start to finish starting with the fermentation process.
...another food item that I have never heard of before, but it is so pretty how you formed them in the husks, it reminds me of tulips. 🌷❤🌷 It also reminds me of the masa dough that is used to make tamales which are wrapped in corn husks as well, but are stuffed with various fillings. (...I remember when I wanted to make tamales...I purchased the pot to steam them in, the corn husks, and all of the ingredients (except I got the blue masa flour/meal), and I never made them. That was years ago, and the extra large pot I got has never been used. smh. (In my defense I used to work for TV and I worked a LOT of hours...and every now and then I would sometimes forget that I did NOT have a normal job with a normal life where my house was made for more than just taking naps, so in my delusional state, sometimes I would get overly ambitious and start believing that I had hours of free time to attempt such a meal... I guess the pot is to remind me how wrong I was.)😞😊
Heyyy Auntie Nanaaba, Happy Wednesday to you. Yummy Ga Kenkey with pepper and fried fish, You know GA kenkey is my favorite, I love eating it with shittor and fried fish( especially croker) I enjoyed watching today's video. I'm on a flight ✈️ now to come and eat and take some home Sending you love ❤️✨
Patience is a virtue, and I’m grateful that you have plenty of it! I honestly don’t even remember this request! My apologies 🙏🏽 I add to my summer fresh beverages💕
Sister MADAME Goddess of the Pallet ❤❤❤❤❤ this was so wonderful in learning. This whole process is so close to "Tamales" (another something great to eat & take in). The difference is the meat is separated from being in the middle. Delicious none the less no doubt 🥳🥳🥳 Thank You once again for the sharing of your passion to life, so inspiring 🎁💋

Is kenkey like south american maza? The uncooked corn looks a lot like maza.
Where can I find the corn doe or what can I use to make it?

Can you just buy the dough from the market ? Or you have to buy the corn and ferment for 15 days ?wasn't clear about that part...
You may use already made dough
How to soak the corn

You’re 100% correct! Very much like Latin tamales! Thank you Dearie ❤️
@@NanaabasKitchen your so welcome🌈💋🌈💋🌈💋🌈💋🌈
I wish she was my grandma 😭😭
❗Just wondering - is that the same as *UGALI* from East Africa? Albeit on the light texture side. They make it more firmer there.
Ugali is without fermentation. Kenkey is sour tasting due to fermentation of the corn dough
What kind of fish did you fry ?
Pink snapper.
See how soft this kenkey is...abeg ,enjoy na nipa nso y3 de3n? 😆 🤣
