  • Moving sand from the pile dredged up to deepen the moorings near the Algonquin bridge. That's why there is a mound at the end of Blue Section in that grove of trees. Note the first picture taken by Ron Mazza of the area on the north side of the lagoon just to the East of the Algonquin Island bridge. The area is perfectly flat. The sand was used to fill in the area in front of the dinghy shed to replace the wood deck there that had finally rotted beyond repair. The blue boat is the old Lilian. The picture near the end is Ron Mazza with the wheel barrow.
