    The Comparison is biased toward XUV400. If I wanna buy an EV then I will keep 3 most essential things in mind before choosing one:
    1) EV Cars are software driven. You cannot verify the quality of software before using it for a reasonable period, for myself, I cannot trust XUV400 being a completely new vehicle on the other hand, Nexon EV is tested and trusted,
    2) Battery is a significant component of an EV. XUV400 uses an NMC battery type which is primitive technology compared to LFP Battery used in Tata Nexon EV. NMC batteries have low life cycle than LFP Batteries. Also, LFP batteries are good at managing heat and temperature considering the hot conditions of India and
    3) Chargers: Tata has invested hugely in charging infrastructure I have not heard from Mahindra regarding this.

    Only negative point about XUV 400 is it has NMC chemistry cells compared to Tata Nexon and MG ZS EV which use LFP cells.
    NMC supports less charging cycles and more vulnerable to heating issues.

    • @motoroctane
      @motoroctane  Год назад +14

      Manish - NMC batteries are used by Merc, BMW, Hyundai, Kia for all their cars in India. NMC has lesser charge cycles of about 2000, and LFP is about 3000. You are right on that. Still 2000 is about 6 lakh kms.
      And heating issues won’t be there when you have liquid cooling. As these aren’t air cooled. Just a request - also study the reacting temp on NMC and LFP. You will realise it isn’t anywhere close to the temperatures we face.

    Kona ev : 395 nm torque

    Light steering is disastrous considering Evs at high speed !!

Whether we can install chargers in apartment. What kind of chargers are available in public chaeging stations. How is the mobile app. Is it helpful. How to optimally use the charging, when to charge how often we should charge.

    👉LFP battery pack are safer then NMC battery system, lesser chance of catching fire 🔥
    👉LFP has better life and more charging cycle ( almost double ) to NMC battery packs
    XUV has only 39.4 kWh NMC battery 🔋 pack , but how does it claims fastest acceleration and longer range as in comparison to NEXON Max 40.5 kWh LFP battery pack
    Reason is - they have mapped different modes more aggressively then Tata.
    Therefore,
    👉 lesser range in SPORTS MODE
    👉 LESS POWER in economy mode for XUV 400 .

    • @motoroctane
      @motoroctane  Год назад

      Not true! That is incorrect info. NMC is in fact more expensive tech - and most performance oriented vehicles use NMC for performance vehicles - Tesla, Merc, BMW - even South Koreans use NMC from LG Chen.

    • @sumitnajhoon8692
      @sumitnajhoon8692 Год назад +2

      @@motoroctane for your kind information, they have shifted to LFP chemistry. NMC has instant higher rate
      ( i.e. its give instat power output as in comparison to LFP ) , but as quite volatile and has lesser charging Cycles....
      Pls do a review on electric vehicles, based on technical points , and it is your ability how you explain technology to common person in simple and easy way .... not some 'bottle fitting on side pocket' test
