      I loved that show too. Watched every episode. I DID notice the Dalek, though I don't think it was because the company the characters worked for was evil. In fact, I don't really think it was evil at all; it just happened to create a lot of products that didn't work/could be misused. And if I remember the context of that scene correctly, that room was filled with failed creations. The Dalek's inclusion was meant to be a bit of a joke by not even mentioning its presence.

    After I became a Whovian and started paying attention, I noticed that classic DW and Red Dwarf overlapped by 2 years. RD came out in 1987 (as did Star Trek the Next Generation), while DW was still in production. (Had already been a Trek and Red Dwarf fan for years.)

    Great list. This reminds me that Michael Moorcock’s multiverse in the literary world, not television, had a Doctor Who crossover,: The Coming of the Terraphiles.

      Was called Power Out or Power Down or something like that. The team finds a shipping container stuffed with spy equipment and McGee compares it to a TARDIS.

    There are also a couple references to doctor who in miraculous. One of the characters called alya has a door in here room that looks like the tardis and in the Episode "Cat Blanc" Ladybug goes through a time tracel portal thing (hard to explain) and says the line "it's bigger on the inside".

    Young Sheldon is connected to The Big Bang Theory? How?

    • @mrwittyone
      @mrwittyone 2 месяца назад

      The Big Bang Theory was about four nerdy twenty-something guys who were scientists. One of those characters was Sheldon Cooper, a genius - though an annoying one who frequently got on the nerves of the other three. Young Sheldon focus on the character when he was a child. As Ellie said, it was a prequel.

    7:17 I've got a Doctor Who head-fanfiction-type-thing where my Time Lord, the Courier (name inspired by Fallout New Vegas), travels around in a port-a-loo, so that one is really cool to me, I'm not the only one to make that connection, love it
