@Bigdaddy. Thanks for your guides and showcase so far. I finally understand the methods of countering downside of transcendence keystone. I manage to made my own transcendence build on a armour stacker champion within 100 Div budget. Although low damage but i'm happy with his tankiness.
I normally just stack max portals taken to 6 and call it a day :^) , great stuff

Great video, i once have support guardian charakter which have similar level of defences can made anyone immortal via soul link but what it does not have was even a 1 dps so great build also nice showcase
I don't understand why are people mad on Bigdaddy for this video in the comments? Are people not allowed to make an "OVERVIEW" video just to show what is possible to do? He is all about ARMOUR STACKING, and that archetype is very expensive, that's a known fact...he covered budget versions this league for people who would like to try to get into it with lower budgets as well, personally I would be curious to see this video if I was playing on the budget and I'd have something to look forward...The main reason I even play this type of build is because it never ends, you can always improve it and invest into it, so it keeps me going. People should not be so aggressive in the comments about videos like this, it doesn't say "CHEAP" or "FOR YOU" to bait u into clicking it, it's about showing what is possible, try to understand that. To me the video is 10/10

to be fair, poe is supposed ot be ppl trying many builds where everything is viable and fun to play. i consider it ggg's fault that poe is at a point where ppl are just "shopping" for viable builds.
if the game has 1000 viable builds or variants "probably much more" there will be less than 5% of those viable for end game content.
if the game was much more healthy and balance ppl wouldn't be starved for builds. but at the same time the fact that ppl don't ever try to make their own shit is part of the reason why we might not know about viable builds that exist.

@@BillyBob-1776 dog what? its legit recommended that you follow a build guide.... there are over 24 overlapping things for a build, Diablo has 4 and (i forget the name but the Asian market one) has 11. 24 overlapping mechanisms for a build is more complicated for build creation then all of the souls borne games combined even if you layered it. Saying someone should try another game bc they cant make a build in POE is not really there fault. You have 10 year veterans of this game who still follow build guides, bc they wont spend 5 hours a day in pob.

Armour stacker was my most successful build in Affliction (and first level 100 ever) but I decided to take a pass on it this league and now I'm regretting it, ahah. Amazing showcase as always Bigdaddy! Can't wait to see what Pathfinder shenanigans you have to show us.
UPDATE (3 days later): Bit the bullet and decided to make one; invested a bit under a mirror into a mix between the budget and medium setups (no Grasping + Hubris, still using 5p Voices but invested pretty heavily into clusters which enabled me to drop some reservation to get Impossible Escape) and I'm having the best time of the league yet! Absolute crushing T17s and so far it seems that not many map mods actually brick this kind of build, which is the biggest gripe most people have with T17s.
Thanks for all your work Bigdaddy - despite what some of these comments might say, there are those of us that appreciate your efforts and take inspiration from it.

Can you league start a cheap version to go t16 and farm currencies to start upgrading ? Or do you recommand me farming ~100 div with my rf and start crafting stuff
Yesterday i saw someone (scion) who can tank my 10Billion dps in standard. A scion with crucible aegis shield, helmet and body armor with the phys, chaos converted. Truly amazed about scion tankyness. Good job on your video.
Scion is by no means tanky it just has convenient access to cluster jewels. The pvp scaling plays a huge role in terms of what your DPS is and what his EHP is. Cause if you have DPS by attacking very fast and he has enough sustain it's possible you don't have a single or several very large hits that can kill your scion friend. Nevertheless 10 billion is a lot of DPS, so congrats.

Few days ago I RNG hit from 3 sets of Curios probably one the most Insane Utmosts in the game, 22% suppress, 5% max all res, 38% attack and cast speed and 19% ele pen

What do you think about grasping mail with 15% phys as cold instead of perfect watcher eye? This + double corrupt shied can save you from spending 10 mirrors on a eye.
Yea that's definitely a good option as the Shields are a lot cheaper. You probably will lose out on some dmg tho

@@tgsmysql5077 The watcher's eye and 3 1p voices alone are 10-12 mirrors (depending on the sale price of the eye). I think you're around 6-10 mirrors off that estimate, lmao.
@@args6540I paid for this build. Each of the 1p voices was 2 mirrors and the watchers eye was also 2 mirrors. So 8 mirrors just for those.
Like 5 of the items were also straight mirror tier items. I think I ended up spending about 15 mirrors total on the build.
I am obnoxiously tanky though, so.

Also some have 100% spell suppression and over 60% suppressed that adds to the max hit making them very tankie and have Ghost dance

Is there a reason the fire res overcapped mod is preferred over the cold res overcapped mod? With iron reflexes, I thought I had heard that evasion scaled better/more easily.
I know the fire overcapped was preferred for chieftain (because of ascendancy nose) but is that the same reason for scion too? I’m not familiar with scion ascendancy.

i'm guessing it's because of the regen that the mastery from the fire wheel provides
in the video scion has 743 fire res which accounts to about a third of the character's regen
The fire mastery that gives life regen per uncapped fire res is giving him ~1500 es. Thanks to zealot's oath.

Nice played this build back in sanctum was a fun build and the progression is something to look for while playing throughout the build. I think people are missing the point that it does not matter what build you play as long as you have fun. Fun being subjective. This build can do a ghosted feared valdo map and that is no small feat. There's no such thing as a perfect build play what you enjoy.
Well how i enjoy poe is make one build that capable of farming... And spend currency i got to fuck around making janky build
Are you familiar with the interaction between the new Phrecia gloves and generosity support/victarios influence? Is there a viable league start armour stacker utilizing this setup?

I was just curious what your thoughts were on phrecia activating the chunk of aura effect from generosity and if that was good at all, on pob phrecia+victarios allows for 86 all res and 150k both armor/evasion (you have to override the auras not affecting you since pob doesn’t recognize the interaction on its own) which seemed strong enough to look into at least

At least disable molten shell or normalize ehp gain from it, you have 50% uptime on it and comparing to some builds that don't use a guard skill at all (e.g. that trickster), have superior uptime guard skills(arcane cloak) etc.
You still win out with your 40 mirrors or whatever, no need to overinflate it.
It's enabled so you can see the max hit you can take. For most content I don't even use it. Ehp means nothing really.
Just built a decent doryani prototype armorstacker following your POBB. Armorstackers are really fun to play. Started this league as hexblast sanctum farmer and decided to build an ES int stacker trickster and after getting like 13k ES and 200k max hit i still thought, damn this build is bad and slow compared to Armorstacker and i was completely right, lmao. TY for the guide and wanted to ask if chieftain armorstacker is still viable or no?
Chieftain give you more damage. But yeah it still durable. You just loose some tankyness. Sometimes the best defense is the offense 😁
it's funny i had the opposite experience. Got my scion to a decent doryani prototype then a budget+ transcendence ... despite the numbers in POB my INT/ES splitting steel trickster with 14K ES felt so much tankier. Could do all content ingame, ubers and T17s that i could not with the scion
@@G00R00i just smashed the nightmare trio in T17 with +9 balls, giga aoe, and extreme attack speed, with my ES stacker. It was hell xD but I clear the feared without any issues at all. Really enjoyed my ES stacker, also did wave 30 deathless. It is really tanky. Sure an armour stacker can taker bigger hits, but I start my 8000 recharge after 0.9 seconds. So I can take DOT like Uber Sirius storms like it was nothing. xD and then the over leech just buffs my DOT defence. shaper beam while being spammed with shaper balls and Elder is trying to pin me down and sucking the life out of me... I could not see my ES go down. It was as if the shaper balls just passed through me. When my bro saw it, he asked me: "how are you able to avoid the damage from the balls" and I told him: "I don't. I just reduce the damage taken to nothing and then regen the damage faster than I take it" super enjoyable
At how much amount of currency did you starting playing this build? Did you have all the $ for your endgame gear or you started lower with this one and built it up?

Ghosted feared with reduced damage per item actually killed my standard (softcore) armour stacker for the first time, Atziri did. I have 1.8 mil phys EHP and 1.5 mil ele EHP. This is without Molten Shell and without at the time less fire dmg Ruby flask or any shenanigans.
True that at no point did I try to dodge any of the 10 overlapping flame blasts, but still quite surprising it killed my character. So idk that there is in fact something more deadly in Valdos other than cringe area becomes deadly mod. Surprising that you can run those but i guess it depends on the ghosts mods idk.
Isn’t there a new mod for grasping mail that’s like your fire res cannot be penetrated or can’t be reduced or something? I saw lance use it and looks like a super good way to solve all kinds of pen
Yea, you sacrifice Regen suffix for it though. I think hit damage isn't really a problem for this type of armour stacker. Degen is more of a problem

To be fair to the comparisons in the start: You have Molten Shell active. That nearly doubles your max hit taken.
The builds I looked at also had molten shell or immortal call so I think that's fine tbh
Armour is increased by overcap resistance it is 1% for every 1 resistance over cap? my question is, why is like gigachad armour with 4k armour flat not good for this build?
you scale aura effect, which buffs PoF, & regen + ehp & dmg.
Please make a video about how you make your currency at the start of the league and what your preferred mechanics and items to craft/corrupt are. Loving the great content

I just buy blight maps t13-16 they are free currency, or harvest, both have the easiest currency selling shit and completion
Yeah, he says some simulacrums, some craftings, some this, some that. But I think that all youtubers or streamers who show such extreme results in such short terms are hiding something out. There is no way you can farm so much currency for such short of period of time in any way. It is either economic and crafting manipulations, or you know what's the other option.
@@WitherAndrotthey are all streaming, you can find all of their data from that. It's simply that they put in 10+ hours a day, and are much more efficient with their time.
Empy's group gives ALL statistics after their first week grind on Twitter. And yet every league even though each person has multiple mirrors, their profit per hour is only around 10-14d/h. They just put in 80+ hours, and all of those hours are no brakes blasting.
Hi Daddy, what's the reason for going lightning pen support if Molten Strike is fire dam?
the build uses wrath, which grants lightning damage and smite, which gives you an aura which also grants lightning damage. With all the aura effect he is stacking he is getting a ridiculous amount of flat lightning damage
I cannot believe 448k ele maxhit (is what shows in the pob without molten shield) wasn't enough to tank uber exarch "charged explosion"!! How much dmg does it do? it seems higher than maven's memory game.

This video is amazing. Question for anyone in here. I made a scion yesterday to level up. What leveling build / setup recommendations should I use? Also I have some what a Chieftain 91 that I was planning to build as a armour stacking build but I been told a scion is better for this but more expensive. Should i try with the chieftain or just give in to leveling a scion?
I level everything to 70 with a bow. Always. There’s no reason to use anything else. Just stick a six slot tabula with some kind of poison bow skill and mirage archer and run. If you’re not 70 by the end of the campaign, just grind in the act 9 starting zone can’t remember the name. Aqueducts? Leveling uniques are usually dirt cheap by day 4 of the league, so the campaign is basically a walking simulator for me.
By the mid 70s you can transition into CWDT Ward Loop Scion, which I did, costs like 20-30 divs (at most), and that can take you into red maps. I cleared the whole atlas that way, and all the void stones. That build is squishy AF, but nothing but a boss will ever be alive on your screen to matter.
Once you’re well into the 80s you can consider transitioning into Transcendence, but you do need to be pretty high level for it to function at all. Mid 80s at least, higher if you can’t afford the voices 1p.

It can't be modified, but it was only 5 chaos. Most of the gear I already had from farming with my RF Chieftain, which I was converting to an Armor-stacking Chieftain. I have boots with 30% speed and one with 50% speed, so I hope I can get across the campaign very fast. I think the gems I got were Rain of Arrows and Mirage, but I will also look for the poison gems you mentioned too. I also have a chest piece 6 link and 6 socket with stats but I also have a tabula too. Lets see how this go and will report back later on. Thanks again.
Cheiftan is way cheaper and better damage scion is very low damage but 2 to 3x more tanky but honestly with chieftan u can still tank everything in the game his build is just overkill tanky and super low clear speed cause molten strike
Scion is not low dmg at all. You can build for dmg items and get around 1b dps this league while still being quite tanky. Haven't seen a cheiftan that has over 1b dps yet.
@@zachx2002 I feel like yalll are playing a different game than I am if you’re calling this build low clear. I only stop moving to loot, and I’ve done every juiced map you can dream of with this build.
And being that tanky has made several kinds of content trivially farmable, not least of which is t17, but it unlocks other possibilities for just fun. I can just go buy a stack of inscribed ultimatum, don’t care about what the modifiers are, at all, and run them. For funsies. I can buy 8 mod corrupted maps in bulk, and still be relatively safe in maps, because the only dangerous mod is “no regen”, which bricks basically every build in the game and GGG seems to think that’s fine.
There’s a lot of other content that is just far less stressful when you’re that tanky. When Ubers only have one threatening move to watch for, it gets a LOT simpler to farm them. There is effectively nothing in the game, at all, that can kill this build, as long as you’re paying even the slightest modicum of attention.
How can this build show 107 level and 130 pts in the POB tree? Can u level past 100 and get way more pts on scion? Never bothered to play that class so I don't know.

Holup, why you couldn't take the searing "slam"? Poedb says that uber max hit for that skill is 34k, %5 crit with base 150% crit multi. That would be 51k max hit at the worst case scenario. Uber cannot have mods because of how it works now with the fragments. You weren't affected by the run, grace blessing active, it cannot be suppressed but you dont have suppression any ways. And its all fire damage and your fire max hit is over 700k.
Yea a bit weird but I didn't use molten shell on the time I died so the max hit is quite a bit lower for that test. I think it would be around 300k max hit with no molten

You cant. one voices jewel cluster is like 200 Div lol.. this build is GIGA expensive. The watchers eye alone is a few hundred divines.

Uh, we have a LOT of regen lol. I can stand in just about anything not Uber degen level. I think the only one that ever gave me problems was Uber Sirius. Because I wasn’t even paying attention and tried to walk right though it.

he used the 6 link shields/ 1 hand with morrigan craft to make several of those and sell for 100d each . it's a known fact .
it was a bug, that was eventually fixed, but at least he profited over that .

i think what people don't understand is , even though armour stacker is op it is not the most efficent build for most of the content in the game, it's not like the build is lightning fast or whatever. so if you don't like the high investment , just dont do it.
i for one spend many mirrors throughout hte league creating build but i never ever made an aura stacker because I DON'T like the play style. i literally would rather waste many mirrors fking around than play it. that said it's fun to see what ppl are doing so i watch the guy and like his video then move on.

one missleading alot aurastacker say @ 3:45 you do not have over 300% auraeffect - it is 100% baseline and you add +-200%. this does not mean you have 300%. otherwise solid build and good round up :)
it literally means that you have 300% aura effect no? 200% additional and 300% overall, all auras give you 3x what they normally do

It's tanky, though I'd not call it the tankiest build in the game, you can't even stand still or afk valdos or tank all of mavens stuff without relying on molten shell. That aside it's a good build

I can afford to start the build right now. Nimis, MB, clusters, not the body with global defence, but I get the overcapped fire res without any issues. I already sold it for 30div, and I can just make a new one. if I wanted to, then I could start the build and farm the money to upgrade it. But I can already farm everything in the game, I can easily make 70-120div per day. So the question is why would I choose an armour stacker? :-)

Yea if you want a dedicated bosser then it's better to do something else for sure. And with guard skill you can tank the slams, I just wanted to test without too.

a int stacking blade trap trickster can just facetank all that together and dosnt give a shit ur build is not the most tanky one.
maybe u have good maxhit sure, but the hp pool is small and the regen is small too.
a int stacking trickster can have like 25-30k es and 10-15k regen and also crazy almounts of evasion.
Going off PoB numbers then no. not even close to the tankiest xD My normal summon holy relic of conviction has 8mill Ehp.

3 voices = 9 mirror , armor 1 , helm 1, amulet 1.6 , 2 ring 1.5 mirror, we 3 mirror... total more than 15 mirror for this build . So that not playing a game, this is buying and installing it into a character. Relax and watch
Sadly..this league even with all the ehp...the t17 maps need be rolled ALLOT . a way to large number of maps cant be done. The ephemeral edge trickster ES actually seems more tanky than this , but even that one suffers from being melle. Sadly even after nerf TS or LA wiping everything before its in sight , specialy this league where mirror tier ele bows are 20 div , makes anything else you play a waste of time and investment. The melle state of the game is still awfull
