I've been wanting to make a tank character since before EA. I have a pathfinder that rocks shotgun shield. Extra skill ms + mobility on resonating shield lets me active block with 49% of normal ms loss + maim to slow enemies makes me good at kiting. My armour is fine, however I've been struggling in early endgame due to a lack or resistances. I recently got a unique shield that shares block chance with allies. Now I'm interested in trying a sorcery ward tank with glancing blows to give a block aura to allies, while building more resistances from the beginning.

Wouldn't it pop off with a monk? High defense, shock everywhere, crit everywhere

You might wanna drop the ballista for firewall with stormfire(?) support that makes it so your shock wont fall off as long as your target is ignited, which the firewall does. you can then drop any nodes that give shock duration

Idk if u gonna answer, but my question is why do u use a bow as a second weapon? Since u can only use the crossbow for things i dont really understand the useage of another weapn u cant really use

I dont get it, galvanic shard does not build up electrocution? I keep using it at boss but hardly do any ailment to them. Can you explain how it work dealing with bosses, single target. Wave clearing is really well though

now my problem was my Stormcaller Arrow rarely shock any boss >.<

following your build and I have a 500dps crossbow and seem to do "OK" damage. I am lvl 80 and I dont seem to be hitting nearly as hard as you and I am not sure where I might have gone wrong.

I'm new to POE2 so this may be a stupid question but how do you get Sorcery Ward to work? I see it in my skills. Am I supposed to make a spirit/skill gem and place it in the slot like my other skills?

I just changed from grenadier to this. Spent 300k gold and few exaultet orbs. My character is ruined, i got nothing and for some reason i deal literally 0 damage… i might need some help. I dont get whats wrong

I don't understand, in the gameplay you're not even using stormcaller's arrow, so where are the shock's coming from?

Stormcaller Arrow dosent work for me, cant hit a rare mob or boss with it. Problem is i also cant see what my hit chance is with the skill.

What runes should i use on the armor? I was thinking fire/cold/shock resist but i'm not sure and i dont want to ruin my good armors with wrong runes (pls answer)

Just finished act 2 with this build and its amazing. Bosses get deleted with Shock Burst rounds. Galvanic clears really well. Having a blast so far.

hello, im using your build same tree, same ascendancy 500+ pdps crossbow and i was doing sanctum for 4th ascendancy with ornate dagger without afflicon for dmg, monster life etc. i have flat lightning dmg on both rings, this build just cant do sanctum 4th floor any tips how to push further dmg escpecially on bosses?

I want to share an observation -- I play completely in the evasion build, and if you use Wind Dancer, then his agility goes to sorcery ward, but it does not disappear (I mean 50% less coz of ascendacy). You need to get rid of Innervate from Herald of Thunder. It claims its only on skills you use yourself, which a Herald doesnt fall under. Even if it would work, its extremely dubious. 1. Need to kill a shocked enemy to get the HoT stacks. Then you need to shock and kill with Herald of Thunder within 2 attacks and then you get the damage boost. As i tested it, it doesnt work and is a waste of a support gem.

It is economic build ??

for the rune, is it worth to put a Soul core of tapotante?

why i cant shock bosses like you ? i did exacly the same passives and similar gear/skills

is the swapping to bow/quiver really necessary?i was trying to transition/change to this build and didnt see that there was a weapon swap. and now im rethinking my choice on this. i dont like wepaon swapping.

Hey! New to POE in general. I came across the Death's Harp Dualstring Bow. It is terrible other than it firing an additional 3 arrows which is good for prock on stormcaller right since the shock chance is just the skill itself. Wanted to ask your opinion on it. Love the videos; keep it up!

I've been rolling my own Witchhunter Galvanic Shards build since Day 1 and I've been looking for other opinions on how to refine it going into endgame - the Stormcaller Arrow tech and Martial Tempo on the shards are great ideas I can plug in now, but otherwise hearing you talk about the upside/downside and what you're working on is massively helpful.

im new to path of exile and on the mobalytics build guide you have points in the weapon sets 1 and 2 and i cant seem to figure out how they work. always seems like i dont have enough skill points to use them

Hey bro, help me out, i just finished the normal campaing and i don't have enought dex to use stormcaller arrow or int to use cast on shock. Did you use gear to get this status or just leveled? I'm using the old setup, galvanic shards with High velocity rounds... fell kinda weird, when i shock enemy i use the shockburst round and the enemy gets melted, just wondering if you leveled or used gear to get enought status to use this skills.

What are the max levels you use for Conductivity and Cast on Shock? Both require intelligence, and it's our lowest stat, so I guess we can't just level them up the way we do with our other skills.
