I started adding pull-ups (assisted, since my fat ass can't get it right now otherwise) to open my back workout and I can't describe how it's helped change my back development for the better. Good stuff.
Assisted Pull Ups are massively underrated. The amount of tension & control if done properly gives you a crazy pump. Check your ego, slow & control to RIP those fibers. Stay Strong 💪🏼
Seth I can’t thank you enough. I have learned more from you about lifting weights, diet and nutrition in the past two weeks, than I have in my entire life. You are awesome! All of your tips and help not only with that stuff, but just life in general, is spot on. Please keep the videos coming. Love em!
Gotta co-sign on this. I actually feel the muscles I’m supposed to be working that day after watching him. Just a minor tweak in thinking changes everything
I watched this video when he uploaded it and all the videos that I think are great tips and tools for learning every once in awhile RUclips will recommend it to me again and I'll watch it again
Activating the glutes during the BO Rows is such a game changer. Learned this a while back and it absolutely changed the exercise for me. Really disappointing that so few people know of these subtle nuances that make the exercise so great. Great stuff as always Seth! Appreciate you putting out solid fucking info!
Been watching you for years bro. Always come back to your videos for info. You dont hold back with info...giving out all the little secrets too. You're a solid guy. Keep this shit up dude!
it was raining and was not having that motivation to go to gym today...saw Seth's back workout and baam!! almost running for my workout....awesome mate
Dude you are always giving knowledge in your videos. "guns out, hitting pullups" to help engage more lat action. Love it man. Keep bring us knowledge and great videos to get us pumped to work out.
I used your back routine for the first time on 12/20/18, I must say, I have never felt the pump or the good soreness that I found in your routine. This morning almost 12 hours later, I still feel the area that I worked. Thank you
Straight, plain, detailed and honest approach and explanation of the exercises and the execution. Hell of job, dude. Wish you had started these video series a lot earlier.
So the last two months I been slacking hard because my gym closed down and I had to find a new gym. Watching this shit reminds me I need get my shit together. Good shit seth. Always inspiring.
More helpful tips in your videos then any other body builders videos I've ever seen . It's the little changes that make a big difference. Awesome info my man 🤘
Seth just great job man. Your form to explain every single movement it's amazing and with that been said you just make easily to us produce gains. I'm glad that I suscribed.
Lats were THE hardest muscle for me to learn to activate and develop that mind-to-muscle connection. One thing that helped me was like on close grip cable rows, with the metal in your hand, try to pull it apart and you'll feel your lat instantly activate (to some degree) then do the exercise with that "pulling apart" tension throughout the movement. Tip that helped me
Seth, there only a couple of really good channels on the net addressing bodybuilding, and yours is one of them. Keep up the good spirit and keep those videos coming.
Your videos are so good. Because of the information & the quality of your workouts, this channel needs to go viral. You're one of my favorite body-builders hands down!
Thank you Seth. I am picking up alot from these tutorials. Just had a guy at the gym ask how much weight I put on in the last 2 months. My back was getting wider. The answer was I'm down 5 pounds but increased intensity. Better focus
Great fucking video! I love how you take the time to go through all the commentary and providing all those tips. There’s hours of videos on the internet of people training. But someone with your experience explaining things thisss detailed as you go through it...so much value in content!
Dude so glad you uploaded this video my back day is tomorrow will incorporate a lot of this stuff into the workout!!! I want to learn all the knowledge you have to offer! Have an amazing night seth!
That back at 12:58 is like from a muscle map, dunno if this is on- or offseason. Just seems like dude's in shape all the time. Good stuff, you've been my new inspiration for training lately. Just a great person, the best in scene gotta admit
I did this workout today @legendsofpittsburghfitness and it was one of the best workouts I have ever done. Thank you @sethferoce. I also added 4 sets of deadlifts at the end (4 x 10, 8, 6, 4)
I watched a video on youtube a long time ago that said pretend you are trying to push a button with your elbow. I always imagine that and it works awesome. Once I get to a point on most back sets I pretend I am pushing my elbow back to push a button. I really feel it. Especially when doing seated rows or db rows. I guess it's whatever works for you.
Dude I’ve been following you for over a year now was 315 lbs chewed bubble gum now I’m 235 hard muscle still a long way to go but thanks to you my gym IQ has gone way up
Wow, tried the "pistol" grip today for the first time after watching this video yesterday, im blown away. This small things really add up! Thanks Seth!
WTF BRO. THANK YOU !!!!! I never really got that pull with your elbow thing. I use it a little but not really getting what I need out of it, but when you said ROW bamm I got it. Thanks man.
Thank you so much for posting this. Great pointers and ideas. Subconsciously I feel like I was aware of the grip/hold guns idea/importance, but hearing it spelled out is great. Lots to incorporate. Thanks, seth.
Look here BROGH. Yeah, I powerlift but dude, these vids are gold. Doesn't matter if this is more geared towards a body builder, the advice you give is fucking GOLD, and my mind/muscle connection has improved since watching your videos boss
Tried the guns in hands today on chest and some of the other little tips you mentioned on the chest work out well wtf it was the best chest work out I've done had to lower the weight but felt it more back work out tomorrow you k ow this video being played so I can get the tips brilliant video.
One of the best Back workouts I've done.....love it. Thanks for your help and advice, and especially the tips on how to maximize the most of your reps, and your form.
I was basically terrible at school, but if you were my teacher for every subject you'd probably relate everything to Bodybuilding and I'd pass with an A for sure.
i respect you sir! o7 i learn so many things out of your videos and i improved my form and muscle symmetry so much! all this minor details you give makes a huge difference on muscle development!
Thank you for your videos. I have been doing your workouts and I and coworkers see a difference. Been adding additional sets to my workouts. Shit I'm sore as f*ck right now but it feels so good. You motivate my ass to go out and do it. Thanks.
Definitely noticed that using your gun fingers stresses the forearms more, so funny a little tweak can isolate that much more, awesome technique Seth 🙏🏼
Thanks for the Tips brother!! Love Your Channel!! Going for my 4th amateur bodybuilding win in a row in 3 months and hopefully an Overall but these tips are REALLY Making the Difference... Sincere thank you and best of wishes with the rest of your career... I'll be Supporting ✊💪✌
yesterday i saw a video from him when he was much younger. some humans, some men should come on world over 40 years old and stay there for ever. some men just get better overall over time.
Exactly! I come from the powerlifting background and in the past year I've went from 370lbs to 282lbs and do a lot more concentration on my groups more straps on back day to keep from using my grip and arms to make sure all the correct muscles are used and really squeeze and pump the muscle I am working. This has taken me years to be able to do I'm 44 and have lifted since 7th grade LOL! I'ts not learned overnight like Seth says but follow his advice and everyone will understand!
@Jason Cooper bullshit. Same level of hypertrophy occurs with low, medium or high number of reps. There is no fuckign difference when it comes to muscle growth as long as sufficient muscle tension is provided. And that can be done with literally any rep range. Low and high provide different results in terms of overall performance thus any NATURAL lifter should have balanced routine between low, medium and high rep ranges and you should progress on those mentioned ranges. Yeah sure, you can base your workout solely on getting nothing but the pump in certain muscle group, going super light and yes, it may provide certain muscle growth but implementation of progressive overload in super high rep ranges is certainly impossible to track in long term and lack of progression will lead to plateuing and even decrease of performance eventually. I will say this again, dont make bodybuilding black and white, cause it isnt.
Well ofcourse that doing improper form will give you nothing but minimal results and will most likely end up in injury if done on consistent basis but that doesnt have any corellation to lifting heavy. You saying "just chase the pump" would be equal to some guy saying "do only HEAVY compounds its key to growth". Do both, simple as that. Anyone that is in this long term should do both in order to maximize what they are doing even if their goal is to look good on beach. Dont try to generalize your approach on training as only working one and then preach it on yt comments. I will ignore this pointless comment above. I dont care how long do you train, I dont care how much you progressed niether what it worked for you niether you should care how I look or how strong I am. As you said, you cant prove anything, so why did you even bother writing it?
Ofcourse, zero reasonable proper arguments to backup his hilarious straight forward thinking about training but he will stop responding cause this isnt going anywhere. Classic stuff. I argumented why your approach is scuffed, you responded with classical you are skinny guy that probably doesnt even lift and only talks science shit??? If you actually took time to write fucking comment about which training approach is optimal, be ready to respond is somebody disagrees with you. YOu know, these are comments, people can comment on your shit? You started blabbing some personal shit that have no corellation to anything and that are essentially pointless. hahaha, punctuation is fine, grammar mistakes will be there since english is not my primary language but I am sure even biggest moron can understand pretty good what I am writing.
You are looking great. Thats what I would like to see..How to get more of insertion point between the bicep and shoulder. My shoulders are dominant. So, even now that my arms are starting to get big..They dont have enough of a separation when my arms are just hanging natural. A video geared to tips on what you do to bring up each part of your bicep would be cool. Also, you left out the wide overhand grip pulldown in the description. After the reverse grips and before the narrow cable row.
I just discovered your videos ... best explanation of what and why you do what you do. Love your commentary funny guy... only place I'm coming to get motivated now... thanks buddy
Thanks Seth! I've been having trouble growing my lats as well Almost going on year three with barely any growth there. I can't wait to try the guns grip.

Pull-ups for sure the #1 body exercise I’d go to before any other movement.

I greatly appreciate your videos and others like them! Im pretty new to working out and at times I don't know what the hell im doing.
Thanks for all the little tips, they are making a big difference in my physic!
yesterday i saw a video from him when he was much younger. some humans, some men should come on world over 40 years old and stay there for ever. some men just get better overall over time.
Thats what I've switched all my workouts to is lighter weights and concentrate on the contraction of the muscle and have noticed a huge difference!
@Jason Cooper
bullshit.
Yeah so why is this guy swinging the weight on literally EVERY rep in this video
You have to take steroids
That finger gun is a great idea. I tried it today and I felt my lats activate more than usually. Thanks for the tips!
Great tips, I'm always up for learning new techniques and exercises. Good background music too.
You are awesome Seth, you motivate me a lot, please do visit India, love to see you here.
I just discovered your videos ... best explanation of what and why you do what you do. Love your commentary funny guy... only place I'm coming to get motivated now... thanks buddy
I love how fucking raw you are, fucking honest and straight forward with shit
Thanks Seth! I've been having trouble growing my lats as well Almost going on year three with barely any growth there. I can't wait to try the guns grip.
