    Yes. Very good explanation and its like you read my mind. Been using a rcbs lock out since day one of my reloading. Highly recommended cheap, passive insurance policy.

      Glad it was helpful. I found a second Lockout Die on clearance. I leave one set for my smokeless .38 Special “pet load”.

    I use the RCBS lock out die on my Dillon 650. Works very well.

    Can you use the rcbs lock out due on rifle calibers?

      It is only supposed to work with straight wall cartridges. I added the Powder Cop to the stable for use with bottleneck rifle cartridges like .223.
