Yes they are...they have replace things that were my fault and even after telling them that , they insisted on sending replacements at no charge. On more than 1 occasion.
What i did to compensate for the short length of the 9MM case was to screw the body down further into the holder bringing it closer to the shell holder and it will lock out on an overcharge. This brings the case into contact with the die case lock soon enough to move it as designed. Works good!
nice video, I was trying too get the white line too just be seen when the case was full but couldn't get it to lockout also. I will try your way in the morning.
I was interested in watching your video because I am having some issues setting up my lock out die. When I saw the cases set up with different charges I was excited that I would finally find someone with the same issue I am having. I am loading 45acp with 6.9 grains of power pistol. I originally set the die up on the bench with the correct powder charge. I used the white line at the top of the body die as part of the setup and it allowed the die to work properly with the 6.9 charge. The issue is with an overcharge of just 7.9 grains it would lock the press but with and undercharge of 2.5 grains it would not lock the press. I finally did the same test that you had set up in you video using different charges and found the sweet spot. It nows locks with a high charge of 9.5 grains and a low of 4.6 grains however when set up this way the white line is about a 1/4" below the top of the body die. Have you ever run into this issue with the white line at least a quarter of an inch into the body of the die?
I have to say I sent mine back today because the small foot would not stay on. And my powder would stick to the foot after every cycle. How can you feel comfortable with reloading when this happens? I use SW clean shot 3.5gn. 9mm
I reload 9mm mostly. I noticed the video showed some powder sticking to the probe. Although the powder loss is not significant at all, do you find that over a short period time there is a lot of powder over the shell plate. I'm kinda ocd.
Been with RCBS for 40yrs. Top notch

It has worked flawlessly! thanks for watching!

You are welcome, I love mine! thanks for watching!
For people looking at getting this today, pass on this and get the double alpha electronic powder check die.
Nice clear explanation. Good job.

Very interesting and unique. Makes good sense too.
yeah, I am kinda dumb so I need all the help I can get!
Not true brother!
That'd work nice on my turret press.
Yeas it does!
IMO, the RCBS die makes a lot of sense. Great product. Highboy
I thought so, glad you approve!
What video editing software did you use to sync both camera inputs to the same audio? And BTW, thanks for the good video explaining the die.
I use Power Director
How far down do you screw the die into the tool head

You are correct, but the small mess is worth it IMO.
I think I get powder on my shell plate from the jurky motion oof the press.
