Maybe it's just me, but I would prefer if we couldn't see chat, it's just distracting.
I did a poll on it awhile back and it was decided to keep chat at that time. I do think it’s probably the right move as I’ll sometimes reply to chat and if I do then it would seem completely random if you couldn’t see the chat. But I also see the negatives.

They’re gone once they’re sold.
You can refill the supply vehicles using either another bigger supply vehicle or a forward base which you have to spawn at the beginning (deployment phase)
Yep, gone once you sell them. You get back the original value of the supply though
