Hello my pretties. Hope everyone is having a great day! In this video Ill be sharing what my day to day life looks like as a small business owner. Many of you may know me from my youtube channel but i do also have a custom cake shop by the same name. I am a one woman show and I do everything from the administrative stuff to the actual baking stuff. I'm also a full time momma to a 3 yr old boy and 1.5 year old girl so needless to say that my hands are definitely full. I'm going to share with you guys what method has worked for me to help me keep my sanity and hopefully you can draw some inspiration from that. I LOVED this video!! I’m starting up my baking business FINALLY lol after so many have asked. I’ve spent years just doing things for family events. But Im so glad you made this video because it made the idea of becoming a business a lot less intimidating 🥰
I really started my business about a year ago (I've been dabbling for about 20 years), and your videos have been such a blessing! Thank you soooooo much for sharing your experiences and wealth of knowledge. I usually only take about 2 orders per week as well, so I'm glad to see that I'm not doing too bad at this. I do have full-time job and big family as well. Again thanks for the tips, always so helpful 😊 ❤

It was great I actually used my churches kitchen so I didn’t have to pay for it but maybe one day I’ll rent an actual one and document the process 🤷🏽♀️

Hey there 😁 no I don’t tell them it just happens that 99 percent of orders I get is for the weekend but sometimes it’s not and I just accommodate 😁
How do I do multiple cake orders in one day? I am just starting.
Do things dry out making it that far in advance? I’m always nervous and try to do things more last minute but then end up being stressed and rushed during the decorating process.
No not really… I keep them in an airtight container and they usually stay just as mew
