Well, at that time, Mark wasn’t the in the group and Jeno was their designated leader. I have no doubt that if Mark was there, they would’ve made him accept the award by himself as well.
SM family is literally the best. They will always have that relationship even if they don't belong to sm anymore.

Most of the reasons why artists cannot attend to an event or is absent to their program is conflict of schedule or health reason.
TBH, EXO stopped attending awardshows after the mistreatment back in 2016/2017

@@canzouxfps Bascially back then, EXO was still #1 artist, and they were winning everything on the votes on MAMA, even the "SNS votes" on best looking on red carpet with a lot, but MAMA decided to change the rules, and give 99% of the awards incl that one to others, you could see how annoyed EXO was, they felt used for views, they even apologsed to EXO-L because of it, thats only 1 award show, others changed everything too to stop EXO from winning
except RV who prefer to watch Taeyeon concert than taking their daesang themself lol

It's not the first time i see people talking about Suho as "Sm director", but i always wondered why, knowing there's Leeteuk, who's always been there for most groups' debuts (minus R.V. because of national duty). He even found Exo's motto. Suho is more focus on only Exo, while Leeteuk is really SM's leader.

I really enjoyed the substitutes in the performance portion. I thought the video was going to be performances but I enjoyed the video.

SM training is much better than most companies. They are generally better trained vocally, they get good media training, and SM gives them more opportunities to appear on different forms of media. I know that for instance SNSD all members have had the chanc to MC, to lead variety shows, to appear in countless variety shoes, to MC aeard shows and then many of them had the chance to act in dramas and movies, to perform in musicals, reality shows, etc. Thanks to that they have amased fruitful careers and can take opportunities that most idols are not prepared to take not only because of their fame but also because the industry and the consumers trust their experience in showbussines.
