Hi from across the Irish Sea. I'm enjoying your channel, particularly your collaboration with Bob Flavin. It's also nice to see positive Toyota reviews. Keep it up.
It's a huge pleasure to watch and listen to your reviews: they're through, precise, competent, and on top of that, you are amazingly beautiful and gifted with a delightful (Irish) accent. Thank you! Best regards from Portugal,
Have been driving one of these for 6 years in NZ and love it. I regularly get fuel figures of 5.2l/100km in mixed urban and motorway driving, so maybe the reviewer needs to get the lead out of her shoe ☺️. It is a big car though, it's a foot longer than the new RAV4 and the same width. Would upgrade to this new model except for the fact you still can't tow even a light domestic trailer with it (the biggest limitation with my current Camry Hybrid also). I wish Toyota would put the same drivetrain as the 4WD RAV4 hybrid so it could tow, and while they at it, offer a plug-in hybrid. Going to have to get the RAV4 instead but would prefer the sedan rather than an 'urban tractor'.
Nice test and video and a lovely woman who talks sense as per normal. As for the car, nice and simple switch gear, lovely heated seats and a simple dashboard. Just needs to be a hatchback with a very, very flat load area and seats that fold perfectly 100% flat and a estate without all the silver garnish that Toyota normally use and it's a winner, add a huge sliding panoramic roof and it would be a perfect car.
@@shroomyesc Did you drive the new one on its new TNGA platform? Have you ever set foot in a Camry over the past 20 years to be able to make that assumption respective to the new model?
@@vpenywise Have you ever driven an actual luxury car? Modern cars have come a long way and are much more luxurious than they used to be, Camry included. Actual (and even pseudo) luxury cars are at another level.
Good video. It’d be interesting to see if this comes to the UK. The Honda Accord was binned, the Camry and it seems that Mazda have taken advantage of that over the years. Most 3 box saloon sales go to aspirational vehicles like BMW, Mercedes and Audi, which, although they are nice, are almost certainly less reliable. I have a 2007 Euro Accord, it’s absolutely brilliant! I’m guessing the Camry will be very good, it’d be good to see it coming to these shores.
Nicely presented review that... The cabin looks plusher but only if Toyota would add the wow quotient to their infotainment system, reclining rear seats, auto window blinds, the car can justify its premium price tag.
I wonder if excess production capacity for the North American market is the reason it’s available now? Since the RAV has taken over as their #1 seller.
Nice one Sinead. Good effort Toyota. Credit where it's due. They could & should have given leather seats as standard if they're pitching the Camry as their 'luxury' model. 218 bhp isn't a lot for a 2.5 AND battery power. Are car makers de-tuning engines for emissions..?
Toyota are re-introducing this back on the market in Europe is because of the decline in diesel sales and they know they have an immediate advantage in the hybrid/electric technology.
I was looking at the Camry last weekend at Bloom, the one thing that I didn't like was the boot, yes it's big, but to get to it is the problem, the boot opening is so small, if it was a sportsback (hatchback) it would be so much easier to use.
I'm eying up this car for my partner. Not a new buy as it's on the high side price wise. I'm looking for a 18 month - 2 year one that will shed loads of money. Then she'll have many years of Toyota reliability at a cheap price. The only downside I see is the rather crappy infotainment and no Android auto. I think Toyota will be sorting that out quickly. Question: does anyone know where the European model is built? I know the US models are made in Kentucky but I was hoping the European ones might be built in Japon?
Becouse the tax in Ireland made it too expensive for the ordinary person to tax a 2.4l car... That's why they had the avensis which many of them were 1.6l or 2.0 diesel
The ES has a slightly longer wheelbase than the Camry and more luxurious finishes so it probably is worthy of the Lexus name. Is the UX worthy of the Lexus name?
I've gotten to the point where I don't even want a Camry as a rental. It's a visceral response when the person at the counter hands me the keys to one. Except for the juvenile exterior styling, they are fine basic cars. But you can tell the designers would have preferred to be on another project, and the engineers simply carry-over the technology from previous generations. The entire thing was phoned in, and they definitely stopped at "good enough."
Alexander Stuber If you want to drive, and that is all you care about, why would you be spending 40k on a vehicle that is not fun to drive. Buy a drivers car. Which, more than likely, will have a far better infotainment system in it to boot.

I only watch these reviews to listen to that gorgeous accent! Ok reviews are good too...
Kevin Swanepoel I loved : hondred instead of handred :) amazing!
I know I could care less about most of the cars. 😄
The Sega Mega Drive reference is
- mwah - chef's kiss brilliant!
I like this model. . . . . and the car’s not bad either.
As a camry owner/fan, You did a nice job, subscribed.

Keep up the great reviews. Really hoping to buy this car in the next 2 years.
My IS arrives next week, but just for the pleasure of Ms McCann's sense of humor & accent, let's watch a Camry review.
Nice! I really hate that waiting for a few moths until my new car arrives... "Getting it next week" is the best feeling ever :-P
That's like the only EU review on the new Camry, thank you!!
v penywise there is plenty :)
The reviews on this channel keep getting better, really great work.
Very good review keep it up! Also that accent makes it even better 😂😂😂

What? No cassette player!? What do they think about in Toyota!
Need a place for my "car tunes" tape.
Yes, I actually have one, maybe two.
amazing job, as always! Keep up in great work!
Thank you for the excellent review... "Internet stranger." :-)
Everyone has already known that the Toyota Camry is the best family midsize sedan, no need to review.

Another great review, Sinead. The Avalon its available there too?

It's a beautiful car. 5.3l per 100 km that's incredible for a luxury car
Camry and luxury car are two things that don't really go together

Luxury?
I've just bought a Camry .2019 .very low milage took it for a test drive .it sold it's self to me .
I LOVE CAMRY
I just watched Bob Flavin's review, he spotted a red Camry on the road. Was that you?!
Great presentation so for the million dollar question. What are we looking at road tax per annum?
there goes my ocd 7:31 fuel gauge needle
I might be able to buy one in 10 or 12 years from now, at least I can play my cd's
Would be nice to see photo or video of platinum model interior

Great car -- and review.
Sega Mega Drive reference. Well done.
Althought the car is not so good, the reviewer motivated to keep watching till the end 😄
Fantastic car

This is Hybrid. I have the 3.5 v6 319hp. Leather seats. Same factory built as the ls350 in Kentucky. Think of this car like an ls without the price.
Nice to see a positive review on toyota. comfort before SPORTY overrated word on these busy roads. I am having one

Name of the exact color?
SINEAD-- I LOVE YOU
There's plenty of room in the back seat .. but I'm only 5.6 tall. 40k euros. That's a lot of coins. I drive one as a taxi. They are good on fuel.
This is the American Camry...I didn't know they would sell this big sedan in the UK.

hello, lovely Sinead ü. Please make a review of the Suzuki Jimny.
You're amazing! Keep stealing hearts.
I was getting very interested until I heard there was no apple car play or Android auto
The dash board & infotainment system is okay. But the rear seats is looking a little outdated..
Your an internet friend 😘❤️

Some pretty weird video editing going on there during the driving section, but another nice review regardless
The Nest best car in Europa sorry in this world oké
why are this reviewers vids always in the rain..couldnt she do one on a sunny day?
It's Ireland
The clue is in the name. Ireland...
shes beautiful
A poor man's "Lexus"
What a beautiful lady!... Wow, that was one wonderful review! :)
Toyota a diesel please?
The overall design is not bland but inconsistent to me. And not even an auto-dimming rear mirror on a 40K+ Toyota?? Lol.

Mark Bennett do you love your partner? No woman wants a Camry...
@@needleontherecord she's not seeking a sports car drive. Reliable, safe, comfortable, spacious, cheap to run... If I hated her I'd buy a 💩 Dacia
Please review Honda Accord
With rise in petrol don't think it beats old d4d engine older carmy was proper car
Ayeee the camry... taxi drivers favorite vehicle
The Prius V aka Prius+ offers better rear seat room for tall passengers.
Why no Camry for 15 years?!

For a 2.5 hybrid I would thought it would been way faster pick up speed

Toy spare tyre and no dipstick.
Can’t under a word she is saying it’s like she is bitting on something and her lips are not moving

40k plus for a car with no Apple carplay or Android Auto. No thanks
Mick Delaney If you want to drive, buy a car. Otherwise buy a phone or a stereo.
@@alexanderstuber8888 if I want to drive I wouldn't be picking a hybrid Camry for a start

I agree. They really need to catch up tech wise if they want to be competitive. A CD player? Toyota hello! It's 2019
She talks funny and her mouth seems wired shut.
Camry is a worldwide taxi car n will always be.
suhail ahmed so what?
Boring mediocre car
Not worth the money
Don't think this car is worth 40 grand
Stateside it's cheaper even on the Hybrid. Assuming it's built in Kentucky I think thats why it's more expensive
