    I like your training of the delimbing of the bamboo, or any limb and branch. Also, you rotated the limb into a top-vertical position, to lay the axe/hatchet on the bamboo, and then slice-chop the limb off. Others do the most dangerous of delimbing techniques, and no wonder they cut their hands or knees/legs slashed.
    Thanx for all the excellent vids.

    I hung a couple bamboo in similar fashion and once they dried and I took them down, they just came apart at the joints.

    19th century, not 18th Dave. That is, if you are referring to basket mentality in the 1800's.

    Do we need to learn how to survive in the 21st century instead of the 18th and 19th century?
    Not many of us can not afford to spend $200.00 + or more on knives or other items that is being pushed on the common man.
    If I spend several hundred dollars on a item, it will be in a show case.
    I have noticed in the past several months that youtube videos is getting away from the common man items.
    I do not want to depend on dollar store items but I want to get kits that want break the bank.

      +Christopher Jackson No, there's a heck of a lot more to this than fun. Some things never change, regardless of the century, and almost all this 18th century lore may well turn into necessary survival knowledge. How long "most" survival situations last is meaningless. That's just dealing with averages, and averages get you killed.
      In fact, if you don't know how to do a sizable percentage of 18th century techniques, you don't know how to do anything important in the wild.

    80 lbs? If 1 peck+ 2 lbs, then a 5 peck basket would be 10 lbs.....not 80.

    a bunch of dam sale outs come on people come up with your own stuff

    • @richstone2627
      @richstone2627 Год назад

      The word is " sell " not sale moron. Learn the proper words before you go running your type. You have a car you want to sell. You put the car up for sale and when someone buys the car it's sold. Sale is correctly pronounced just like sail. So in your stupid post it should read sell out not sale out. Of and by the way, Dave is a good dude and knows his trade and his store sells out often.
