DISCLAIMER: This video was made literal years ago, which makes some aspects of the video a bit outdated but either way, finally releasing the video now.
In this video, I rank all 36 players of The Genius. Like most of my other player rankings, I ranked the players based on how likely I feel like they would perform on a random season.

I feel like the social acumen of players is often downplayed when evaluating players. Part of what makes Dongmin dominate every game is how he’s able to win people over to his side, even against their best interest, through humor and genuine relationships. When you look at a player like Yoohyun, it’s their social game that really distinguishes the best from the rest of the pack

Kim Kyung-Hoon getting severely underestimated here. He played as a minority the entire series and still made it all the way to finals and had a good showing against Dongmin the #1 player

Gura has to be at least on the top half, he was formidable on the main match. He just stood out too much dominating the games with Sang Min and didn't expand his influence or improve to be likeable. Most of the players that survived played it safe and just kept their head down to not be a target, far from being a genius. At least Gura was a leader and played the best he can.

I disagree about Lee doo hee. Yeah this game is about betrayal but usually everyone can have their own parts in the game and giving a fighting chance. The way he wasn’t even able to have a chance to play was too scummy from the rest of the members and left a bad taste in my mouth. I really disliked that episode
