It's not like its a crime, but its always nice to see them owning their truth and clearing the rumors about (in most cases) the very visible changes in facial appearance when comparing their before and after debut pictures.
I'm all for owning their truth and the truth is they aren't happy with their looks. Plastic surgery has become the norm and gives off the "I'm not happy with myself". As a Korean-American, I personally wouldn’t get plastic surgery even though I’m not fond of my nose. Surgery is surgery. Not only is it expensive, but risky and painful. However, I also believe it’s a personal choice. Plus, I can’t imagine how much pressure there is in any entertainment industry. I always thought Park Min Young was so cute & pretty even when she just debuted before she got all plastic surgery but apparently Knetz kept hating on her looks saying her nose is too big and she is too chubby etc. They made her insecure and eventually she got plastic surgery. She still look gorgeous now but I personally think she had such a natural charm before the plastic surgery. She was pretty even then. So sad she didn’t think so.
The Min Young lady looked way better before the surgeries, IMHO. She was incredibly pretty in a natural way, but after the procedures she lost the sweet uniqueness of her face. But the saddest thing is that she still finds fault in her looks...
for me as an european mother its shocking what young korean actresses and actors are doing to please the industry. So sad they look now like dolls all the same expression, cannot distingiush between them.
The thing I find most shocking is that a height of 5'5 at 98lbs is considered the perfect beauty standard in Korea. Im almost 5'5 and weigh 110lbs and I look like a skeleton. There's no way that her curves support that weight. She either weighs more than that or her curves aren't natural. That being said, from what I could tell she looked like she's more of a healthy weight in a good way.
Plastic surgery is a vicious cycle. It’s a personal choice, but when it becomes an entertainment “ideal”, it skews how the public views what is attractive. When or if these people have children, will they not think their children are attractive?
This !!!! Because their children will definitely not inherit the plastic features but the natural ones...I wonder if they will think their children are ugly for inheriting the features they found ugly on themselves..
Park Min Young has been pretty even from her old visuals. regardles if they have done procedures or not. if they are already attractive,It doesnt even matter. it just encances them aesthetic wise.
I first (accidentally) saw Lee Soo Hyuk on what happened to be his debut work on tv-series, titled "White Christmas" many2 years ago, because the way he looks today, only much, very much skinnier (i guess since he was probably still doing modelling too at that time). And so, like everyone else here, i was majorly shocked to see him appear on the list, the first one at that. 😅 Dude just gained muscle and weight over the years, i dont see anything need to be fixed with his facial features, even the plastic surgeon would perhaps go,"BUT WHY!?" if he happens to ever think of getting one. 😊
I also don't understand what he changed. He looked way young and skinny in his old picture and it just looks like he grew up, gained some weight. Maybe he got jaw elongation...maybe...but people usually gain a jawline as they hit puberty or start working out
Me too~ I was shocked~ I've actually watched him first in Scholar Who Walks At Night and I was already in awe seeing him. He has one of the best visuals I've ever seen! His vampire-like features are what makes him beautiful. Yes, not just handsome but also beautiful. Even when I watched him now, and when I see his other videos, I still don't believe he got a plastic surgery. He still has that features~ This guy is just too handsome!
Lee soo hyuk has face features which looks too perfect for human, and I don't think it's because of plastic surgery he's just too beautiful for people to accept it.
I panicked when I saw Soo-hyuk first on the list but was relieved when I checked him out in his latest work, Tomorrow. Wew he still looks the same. 😮💨 I love his vampire look! I hope he doesn’t give up what makes him unique! He had great chemistry with Kim So Eun on Scholar Who Walks the Night and I actually loved his romance with So Eun than the male lead, Lee Jun Ki’s.
I don't think Lee Soo Hyuk had plastic surgery. Your information was from 2017 right? I watched wgm of Hong Jonghyun and he's one of his friends and he looks exactly the same and that's from 2014. If he had plastic surgery how can you explain that he had plastic surgery at 2017 but has the exact same look from 2014 and 2022? 😂 Magicccc
I think Lee Soo-hyuk still looks the same? Why is he on the list? During fashion weeks, models are known to diet. Skinny or bulky, he's amazingly sexy.
I'm not sure how I ended up here but my first thought about the sharp looking shots of the 'vampire guy' was literally FINALLY ! A UNIQUE LOOKING KOREAN ARTIST'S FACE! Glad he didn't change too much as he stands out in a good way. Evidently need to watch something with him now.
I wish Park Minyoung didn’t do much to her nose that it looks too fake. I just find it uncomfortable to watch her in any dramas. idk if its just her acting or her face but yeah i just wish these actors and actresses wouldn’t do a lot of ps even when they dont need it. Bcs sometimes even when they look ‘too perfect’ they just appears to be very weird as actors¿ like most of the times i cant relate to her scenes or actings bcs she would appear so emotionless at times. I dont mind them beautifying their faces but there are always limits to it. I know she had insecurities, i do too but i wish she didn’t change her face to that extent. She was already pretty before that. Trust me, her before is already prettier than most of us here. Plus, she might like what she looks like at the moment bcs the PS looks okay to her, but when she gets older, her face will look so weird with obvious hints of ps
Park Min Young was always known for being pretty even as a child. I know people think everyone who changed appearance did plastic surgery but that isn’t always the case. I lost baby fat and grew older so my looks changed. Interestingly everyone assumed I had plastic surgery. Nothing could change anyone’s mind even though they saw me every day. I guess reason goes out the window. 🙄
Tbh, if I didnt experienced it myself, I would've been one of those people you mentioned. The funny thing is she grew up in the states but the girl was clearly in Korean uniform. It’s still in circulation unfortunately. She quit and got married- much happier. This is why all celebrities in Korean look the same to me (ok i exaggerated there). The really exact standard they have for beauty is making them all look similar to each other. I find that really creepy and i dont even find that standard legit.
There is nothing to brag about why they did surgeries and why shouldn't they do it... People who tends to take decision on themselves are more comfortable about the results, but the drawbacks comes when the society started to brag about their life..even though they are Celebrity they are still humans, like ordinary people.
I mean the lee soo hyuk actore literally looks the same as before i agree that his nose looks different when he was super skinny but i saw an high school picture and still looks the exact same so idk
I can’t wait to live in a world where people define beauty their own way. These “beauty standards” are overrated and are made by people who are trying to project their own insecurities on others. I come from a country where curves and thickness are celebrated (and I am pretty slim by the way). Most men in my country believe the curvier the woman is, the more attractive she is and slim women like me always get weird comments. Fortunately for me, I have never let anyone tell me what I am or am not. I then moved (during my college years) to live in a country were my body type was celebrated and people would literally starve themselves to look like me. It made me wonder what the actual beauty standard is then, and I realized it’s all a scam. I concluded that, beauty is what you say it as an individual because it’s not only skin deep, but comes from within. I always say; If I say I’m beautiful, then I AM beautiful and the rest of the world gets the body, face or whatever I give them, it’s as simple as that!
Rather than nitpicking about her looks , park min young should study on how to act better. Her expressions is so shallow and limited honestly. I've watch her on healer and secretary kim , but her acting throws me off. Every happy , sad , frowning expression is just being reused over and over. Kind of like an AI. Waste of being pretty
I don’t think ps is the problem I think society and people insecurities get the best of them and they worry about other thoughts on them instead of there self.
gosh, most of these actresses didn't even need plastic surgery. I love the naive Min Young than the sculpted one now. She had her cuteness and natural beauty back then. Her face now just looks too sharp and starts to show off the work done. The thing with plastic work is constant maintenance and the addiction. You will never get satisfied, that's the problem.
6:20 The left side face is actually natural Korean face , almost all Koreans have face like that but many of them change it these days they change it in highschool even in middle school that's why we don't often get to see this raw natural beautiful face of them but if you look at old people or Korean ahjumma/Ahjussi you'll see that they've this shape of face . Idk why they don't accept the shape of face they've and instead go for small face!
Yes even suzy before she done all beauty treatment to be how she looks now...they have natural chubby cheeks idk why they hate it bcoz chubby cheeks can makes a lot younger
@@iheworld134 full Chubby cheeks make a face look too round, not necessarily younger. But full upper cheeks and a slimmer lower face is attractive without looking old. So fats are gradted into upper cheeks.
I don't think soo Hyuk did plastic surgery! He just added weight! Which i personally like. The man is JUST PERFECT even when he was young!! And he just gets more handsome as he grows older! We love him so much.
I'm confused about Ji Changwook. This video showed articles that mentioned about the actor's statement regarding plastic surgery they've got, but this video highlighted only the first part of Ji Changwook saying he went to the clinic, BUT the next part was about his doctor discouraging him from going through the procedure, so he left.
Ikr i was looking for the comment that mentioned about this too. What the voice said was different from the article that they highlighted lol. Well I guess this channel is too lazy to find other celebrities that they decided to just go with it.
The one who won the beauty paegent was stunningly beautiful before she erased her distinctive features with the surgery. Same thing the Boys over Flowers actor. The wig or whatever he had on his head coupled with the plastic face ry made him look odd. Thankfully he could both act and sing. The vampire looking guy is just a work of art.

And now you have a country that not only has surpassed many other on toxicity concerning plastic surgery, skin care, high end fashion and being the best (school/suicide) but also has the largest debt per capita in developed countries on the GLOBE. Not only will they be remembered as actors, singers, models and such but also the ones bringing Korea down to it's knees. I’m glad that some actors feel so comfortable revealing that they had plastic surgery considering how some people see it as a crime or something… always pointing it out when someone mentions a persons beauty and pretty much shaming them for that. Having plastic surgery is a personal choice it shouldn’t be our business. Whether it’s for medical reasons or just because your not satisfied with your look you shouldn’t be shamed. Since for many plastic surgery can be a way to change your life and change how you feel about yourself. I do agree with the opinion that plastic surgery is indeed a personal preference, and it's not like you commiting a crime. @Ladybird Exactly… his looks in ‘Bad and crazy’ was….omg
It seemed like his face was heavy on him or something. Like you said, he could barely move it

minyoung looked so beautiful before and after surgery, such an natural beauty 😫💓
Maybe Koreans generally have really low bone density or lower muscle mass, so you can’t accurately compare your weight against theirs.
This is sad..
Dude just gained muscle and weight over the years, i dont see anything need to be fixed with his facial features, even the plastic surgeon would perhaps go,"BUT WHY!?" if he happens to ever think of getting one. 😊
I also don't understand what he changed. He looked way young and skinny in his old picture and it just looks like he grew up, gained some weight. Maybe he got jaw elongation...maybe...but people usually gain a jawline as they hit puberty or start working out
Leesoohyuk didn’t get plastic surgery 😂
Me too~ I was shocked~ I've actually watched him first in Scholar Who Walks At Night and I was already in awe seeing him. He has one of the best visuals I've ever seen! His vampire-like features are what makes him beautiful. Yes, not just handsome but also beautiful. Even when I watched him now, and when I see his other videos, I still don't believe he got a plastic surgery. He still has that features~ This guy is just too handsome!
Yes i did / facial contouring ( v line surgeries 3 parts ) nose job and eyes
I'm watching him in Doom At Your Service and the thought popped into my head about whether he's natural or not. He has very statuesque features.
THEY LOOK SO GOOD. Lol. I got to say the doctors in korea have great skills. None of them are excessive.
because, so much ppls do it that doctors are specialized in this field.
YEAH SO GOOD WITH SAME FACE LMAO . I cant know who is who lol
@@rikuhell8076 you are hella blind if you think it's the same face. Get your eyes checked
@@elithluxe7568 First time seeing them, look like same. But, gradually we can differentiate.
No poker face nor cat face
😂 Magicccc
I agree. Soohyuk doesnt even look different. He just used to be very skinny in the past.
Lol fantasies.. They whitewash go plastic and keep making a mikky out of rabid fangirls to mint cheap money..
Maybe you imagine plastic surgery as a drastic change in appearance but a facelift or botox is still plastic surgery.
True. I knew him because of 2NE1, I mean, he still look the same but have some muscles. You know 😅
it isnt very drastic; its the tip of his nose. before you could see the tip was a little lower but now its straight
Lee seunghyuk looks handsome before and after. He was already looking so good before
Soo Hyuk... ... ...looks the same or I'm blind
I wish Park Minyoung didn’t do much to
her nose that it looks too fake.
I agree with you her nose looks so natural before ps plus she's really pretty before, she looks weird now.
My cheek was rather chubby when I was in my early 20s n now a decade after, at the same weight, my cheek slimmed down n my friends thought I lost lots of weight, lol. I didnt even realized it myself untill I compared my old n now photos.
Park Min Young admited for having two plastic surgeries so I dont know what you're talking about
@@fatisummer9106 I didn’t say she didn’t say anything. she felt the need to bc so many people were stating as fact incorrectly about things she didn’t touch. I just know this particular actress was pretty even as a child/teen
Just googled and I think her face was very different during her young age. Especially her eyes.
@@erinaahmad5592 I would be careful about what you Google. My friend used to be in Korean entertainment and just starting to get more popular. She even had fan sites. Unfortunately it also means more false information and people put up a picture that is NOT her as a childhood photo. The funny thing is she grew up in the states but the girl was clearly in Korean uniform. It’s still in circulation unfortunately. She quit and got married- much happier. I know Park Min Young was known to be quite pretty from people who used to know her. About what changed- who knows. I don’t care tbh. 🤷🏻♀️
Lee Soohyuk literally looks the same, what do you mean?
The sad thing is after the surgery they all start to look similar to each other and they lose any individuality. also, they look less and less Korean.
The actress from City Hunter has had the most improved look since grade school photos I’ve seen online. I’m surprised you didn’t share them in this video. She looks like a completely different person. Doctors made her pretty. Kim HyunJoong was born gorgeous.
She was pretty before undoubtedly!
This is why all celebrities in Korean look the same to me (ok i exaggerated there). The really exact standard they have for beauty is making them all look similar to each other. I find that really creepy and i dont even find that standard legit.
I also couldn’t differentiate them in the beginning 😂
Facts
There is nothing to brag about why they did surgeries and why shouldn't they do it... People who tends to take decision on themselves are more comfortable about the results, but the drawbacks comes when the society started to brag about their life..even though they are Celebrity they are still humans, like ordinary people.
I mean the lee soo hyuk actore literally looks the same as before i agree that his nose looks different when he was super skinny but i saw an high school picture and still looks the exact same so idk
Lmao soo hyuk basically buffed up, it wasn’t plastic surgery 😂😂
If they do too much plastic surgery, they start to look weird and expressionless,
Yes. you are right.
Their surgeons are so good. They made them look natural.
I don’t think ps is the problem I think society and people insecurities get the best of them and they worry about other thoughts on them instead of there self.
Park min young is an example how people dont have to hide the truth n focus on your goals
Soo Hyuk’s looks is still the same, the only difference is that he aged and started to do work outs, it’s just glow up not plastic surgery.
If you think no plastic surgery is involved there you are dellusional
The only thing I'm happy about plastic surgery is when the client is happy with it and they actually look stunning.
gosh, most of these actresses didn't even need plastic surgery.
I can’t accept it too lol
Self hate
Yes even suzy before she done all beauty treatment to be how she looks now...they have natural chubby cheeks idk why they hate it bcoz chubby cheeks can makes a lot younger
@@iheworld134 full Chubby cheeks make a face look too round, not necessarily younger. But full upper cheeks and a slimmer lower face is attractive without looking old. So fats are gradted into upper cheeks.
I think soo hyuk has a same face.. he just getting older and mature for me
I don't think soo Hyuk did plastic surgery! He just added weight! Which i personally like. The man is JUST PERFECT even when he was young!! And he just gets more handsome as he grows older! We love him so much.
min young looked better before... crazy how they think
No wonder the article disappeared so fast, I think they don't want us to read what the article was saying. I literally had to pause in order to read it.
Exactly. I thought the same thing. She was prettier before surgery.
Once the surgery done, their face lost that organic beauty that their original face once had.
After realizing how much work everyone got done and how 'ok' it is I feel the need to get some work done too but im trying to fight against my feelings and embrace my own beauty
Fact - Every Korean celebrity do cosmetic plastic surgery...
And now you have a country that not only has surpassed many other on toxicity concerning plastic surgery, skin care, high end fashion and being the best (school/suicide) but also has the largest debt per capita in developed countries on the GLOBE. Good job!!!! For all the higher ups for promoting this on the younger generation. Not only will they be remembered as actors, singers, models and such but also the ones bringing Korea down to it's knees. Hopefully no one will come to help them fix their inherent need to reach extreme levels when it will crash; the Institute of International Finance has already revealed that South Korea's household debt to GDP ratio was 104.2%, Hong Kong followed South Korea with 92 percent, followed by the United Kingdom (89.4 percent), the United States (79.2 percent) and Thailand (77.5 percent).
Park Min Young is a sad girl who didn't like herself when she was adorable and now looks sad sad sad...I just can't watch her, and if she reads this I will say, you did look wonderful...don't be sad.....

I'm a Triple S since SS501 debut so I knew Kim Hyun Joong was really handsome even back then so it wasn't a big deal that he did that procedure because he looks the same or at least for me. You can't tell he got plastic surgery only by looking at him because he's still natural compared to other idols and actors.
He really looks about the same as the othe others though ...
@@여자그냥 I was just implying that he looks the same as when he just debuted even if he got plastic surgery. Maybe others too but some others just looks so different now and not for better...
There's nothing wrong with getting plastic surgery as long as you don't come away from it looking worse or like a freak show. Some people get it and the doctor just messes their face up and body as well.
Lee Soo Hyuk bad boy look was very unique but sadly he change it. But what’s matter is that he is happy after changing it. They all are good actors and actresses. They were right about getting more roles after getting plastic surgery. Nobody would hire you if you don’t look right to them, even if your acting is at the very top.

At this point we all know companies lie about the weight of their celebrities because for some reason any thing above 50kgs is gross for women, but wow 44kgs she probably weighs around mid to lower 50kgs. Her body is definitely banging though.
44kg is what children should weigh no a grown adult, i knew beauty standers in Korea were dangerous but this is crazy
Same here I’m 43 kg - 5.3 ft and look and feel like I’m dying at this point. Bones from my hip and ribs are prominent. Being this weight is just unhealthy and hard to function in life.

The problem that NO ONE TALKS ABOUT. Is that plastic surgery looks DATED after a decade or so. This happens in hollywood. The kardashians "look" that everyone wanted BACK THEN now looks very fake and cheap. Bbls, big boobs tiny waist. Now its overly done and they look like wax figures. Idk what's the big deal of plastic surgery ! Not all who undergone plastic surgery became actors/ model etc ..they were already beautiful people but needs some enhancement ..either plastic/ organic , what matters most is the talent skills and personality ❤❤❤👏👏👏👏
Sadly, due to those stupid beauty standards and toxic people who call them ugly they have no choice but to change their features to fit in this society ...let's be honest skill and personality doesn't matter in this industry ..well it does for us (few audience) but it's not the same for others ..in Korea being pretty is a big thing you gotta look good to get a job ..with talent you can't afford it
That's the dark side of this industry

I mean children weight more than this . It must be so hard to try and stay that low weight wise my jaw is on the floor. These ladies are gorgeous absolutely stunning but I often wonder how honestly can they sustain being so skinny .
Korea had major glow ups. Good for them. They used plastic surgery in their favor. Boosted their beauty standards and cosmetics skincare etc.
This is definitely not a list of most CRAZY ones hahah. And Solbi wasn't even mentioned!
I’m all for natural beauty but I’m not against people who have had work done because it’s not my business to comment on.
I don't care, I'm in love with their character in the drama which is basically nonexistent, fictional. whether they did surgery or not, none of my business.
The thumbnail deceived me. So many of those actors and actresses looked beautiful, even before plastic surgery, and that’s so sad that society is so toxic that they made even these already conventionally beautiful people insecure
I see nothing wrong with plastic surgery. Its not everyone who can become gorgeous as those people doing plastic surgery they are indeed good looking people who just did some retouch.
Byyourlogic nobody is bad looking if you can change your draw your eyes your nose your cheekbone your lips what is there left to call you a beautiful on your own the celebrities are like on any other commoner they looked average-at-best and plastic surgery is that what helped them to look that way

All these beautiful Korean actresses and actors are pretty because of plastic surgery, you can tell by all having the same shape, same face and same eyes. You can tell when drama’s little kids faces are very round, and big cheeks.
Well, at 165 cm tall and 44 kg, that is absolutely underweight. All those unnatural beauties make it harder for normal people.

It's a common culture in Korea, even general public go through knife, it's just like a norm. Korean people are one of the most insecure people when it comes to looks. They just can't embrace their real selves. But, I don't blame them, everyone is doing so it has become a part of their culture.
I do agree with the opinion that plastic surgery is indeed a personal preference, and it's not like you commiting a crime. Also, its better for me if they accepted and stands with the fact that they get job done, cause at some point people these day and many fans of an idols and actor/actress are justifing their favs beauty as an puberty an called them natural when its not. Puberty can't change our bone structure, so it doesnt make sense at all. For me this is the main problem that make people piss off these day cause by those fact women especially can't see their face and stuff in a positive way anymore.
