Thanks for sharing this list❤️
This video forgot The Penthouse season 1 to 3, Let's Eat season 1 to 3.
tomorrow is seriously so underrated, almost every episode got me crying, even the one with the dog's story
For real. I finished it a few days ago and I can't bring myself to watch another kdrama lol. My favorite thing about Tomorrow was that even though the show had so many sad situations it still managed to be uplifting and hopeful!
the dog broke me
When Rowoon seeing himself as a child and his father that scene made me cry so hard 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I absolutely loved Tomorrow, I don't think I've ever cried so much with a series or movie... The dog story was the one that made me cry the most, it was really touching and you get the chance to grow with every character presented in the stories
OMG I had to skip some parts of the dog story because I cried so much! I just went to the ending and it made me cry so much more! My ugly tears were the worst during the Korean war veteran story - that affected me so much
"Kill me, Heal me" must be one of the best dramas out there. Dealing with such a sensitive topic as DID properly is difficult, plus Ji Sung's work is splendid. It is a drama that has everything, romance, comedy, drama and seriousness, I have seen it repeatedly and I never get tired of it, really, if you do not know it, give it a chance, it can change your life.
yess it's one of those kdrama that got me hooked in watching more kdramas
Yes I loved that kdrama so much that I had to purchase it. I do love both of the main actors in it. They do such great work.
I was gonna put in a comment for Kill Me, Heal Me if I didn’t already see one! For me it easily outranks quite a number of dramas on this list
Yes I loveeeeeed the drama! It was sooo good and super interesting
Yes but apparently she just picked those that they are high in Netflix ranking😂
The fact that Lee Je Hoon is the lead for 3 dramas on this list should tell you something. Taxi driver, move to heaven and signal were exceptional!
Yeah
You stole my sentence
He knows how to choose his dramas. 🤌🏼
@@l1smm309 and that my friend is what you call a real actor
It shows us that he's Happy Squeak's bias!
And the new kdrama is “Extraordinaly attorneys woo” this drama ki amazing✨🦋🦋😌
About to start watching Extraordinary Attorney Woo! So excited for it!
Agreed 💯💯
Yes! It is outstanding. 10/10.
Yes it literally amazing 😍
Easily my fav right now - terrific cast and Ted Lasso vibes. Can't get enough. Joo Hyun-young FTW!
Flower of Evil, Mouse, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, and Kill Me Heal Me are amazing dramas too! Seriously, they have such good plots with excellent script writing, and the casts play their roles so well!
The guardian the lonely and great god was good too I recommended watch it
@@thelastofitskind3034 Thanks! Added them to my watch list :)
@@thelastofitskind3034 That’s Goblin, it was already on this list.
Kill me heal me, so gooooooood !!!!!
@@isabellemenez5704 For real, and Ji Sung played all of the personalities so well! The fact that each one was so distinct, and some even had different accents like Perry Park yet he aced all of them!! I'm so glad he played this role, he did it justice.
Presently watching "Alchemy of Souls" --- no fillers.------ Enjoying every bit of it." The king" ---- eternal monarch was a beautiful parallel reality with lee min ho. "Vincenzo"--- definitely nice paced fighting to bring justice Korean/Italian mafia style. " Sisypus" well done--- going back in time to prevent mishap. "Hotel de luna"and "The Clown Crown" was also nice. Mr Sunshine was wonderful--- three destined males in the perfect positions karmically to help the female lead maintain her goal.
Tomorrow just hit different man, touched my soul. Touching upon so many important topics, it is a true gem and will remain supreme!!! Can't believe/understand why it didn't receive more recognition.
The actors were just amazing. My goodness, did not know I had a thing for grim reapers.
I’m an American who lives in Arizona, I wanted to watch something different on tv, so I went to Netflix and picked a k-drama. Here I am 3 months later and haven’t left. I watch one after another. I’m in this rabbit hole and don’t want to get out. They put me in a happy mood.😊
Ahhh I am jealous of all the amazing shows that you are going to be able to watch for the first time! I have been watching K Dramas for over thirty years... used to need to rent video tapes to watch them. It’s absolutely incredible how many amazing dramas are out there.
That is my story also. Starting with some Chinese dramas last fall/winter. Then I found Mr. Sunshine on Netflix and haven’t looked back. I’ve watched 4 of these dramas, the rest are on my watchlist. Hometown Cha Cha Cha is my go-to comfort drama.
@@louannkirk7980 Have you watched Business Proposal?
me too i like kdramas so much!
until now... i cant move on, since i watched CLOY i am inlove with korean dramas, they have a very interesting stories and plot, a very good writers and directors were amazing and most of all the korean actors they are all amazing actors, i love them 😍😍😍
@@irenefancher597 - yes. I thought it was cute, although some of the antics of the FL were a bit over the top, but that’s the nature of those romcoms. I liked that it was only 12 episodes. Sometimes there’s a lot of filler in the story to bring it up to 16 eps. My favorite workplace romantic comedies are What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim and Her Private Life.
It’s Okay to not be Okay is my all time favorite! It was not on this list. It had it all in my opinion - romance, comedy, and such sweet dealings with difficult mental health issues. The acting was incredible! I’m firmly down the rabbit hole since starting K dramas six months ago! 😂 There have been several I seriously could not watch the last episode because of what I knew would happen - Start Up, Yumis cells … 😭😂. I was so mad at who she chose for Start Up that I literally refused to watch it. And can I say that I hate the shows being dubbed. It’s a bit harder for me having to read the subtitles but I much prefer the actors real voices personally. I haven’t watched Vicenzo yet because it’s dubbed but I love the male lead so much! I’m amazed at the charisma and talent of so many of these actors - Jung Hae In in particular. I really want to watch Snow Drop but I just can’t subscribe to every streaming service sadly.
Do you know the meaning of underrated???
The ending is complete bullshit, very forced and the plot is extremely predictable. It was good only till the first 7 episodes or so. "It's Okay to not be Okay" is very overrated in my opinion. Dramas like Twenty-one-twenty-five and Our Blues are 10 times better, any day.
Yes it’s okay to not be okay is legit the best.. along with I can hear your voice
@@shwetaagarwal6775 As someone who has been struggling with mental health for years the portrayal of it missed a mark and at some points overly exaggerated which they did solely to add to the dramatic-ness of it all (which I thought was unnecessary) The entire evil mom being the nurse in disguise was predictable, laughable and a complete force fit in my opinion. The ending was rushed and honestly it just seemed like the writers wanted to somehow conclude it. Also once again the kdrama cliche of the actor and actress meeting in their childhood. 🤦🏼♀️
Fyi, I am a person who has severe mental health problems and has been on medications since 10 years. Two of my own cousins took their own life so it runs very deep in my family. So I’m saying this as someone who has experienced it first hand.
I agree. I watched It’s Okay Not To Be Okay and loved it as well as the acting. I convinced my husband to give it a try even though he is not a kdrama fan-he thought it was great.
There are SOOO many good ones! Itaewon Class, King's Affection, My Mister, It's Okay to Not Be Okay, Crash Landing On You (personal fave) & Snowdrop are all worthy of a mention.
Approach "Snowdrop" with great caution for it will break your heart and tear you inside out with all its love and emotions 😭
@@LuvHartSpainValence yes ,i am so despointed not to see iteawon class in rhe list
@@aniketmohan597 thank you, me too. I found it unique. I finished it in 5 days.
@@LuvHartSpainValence yeah, you are so right, I physically couldn't continue watching anymore. That's how much emotional da-mage it gave me. It brought me to tears, literally, and I thought Scarlet Heart was unbearable..hmm
Absolutely. All the ones you've mentioned are my favourites, along with the Judge, Juvenile Justice and Mr Sunshine 👏👏
Vincenzo is absolutely hilarious and stands out from majority of kdramas 👍
Yes it's my favourite
Yes, bringing justice Mafia style
absolutely agree
Loved Vincenzo...great story, quirky and funny but serious at the same time. The most satisfying ending I've seen in a long time......
@@lindag9838 agree
This is a fantastic list! I'll add "W- Two Worlds" to the top 5 of this list... anyone who hasn't seen it is MISSING OUT!!! Also "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" belongs to this list for the switch in having a woman as the heroine and a truly psycho villain.
Another two of my favourites - I have watched two worlds so many times.
@@wheeloftimefan3272 hahahaha I know exactly what you mean. I actually don't know how many times I've re-watched it 😆 I'm still looking for more K-dramas that are as good from start to finish. Recommend away if you have any
Completely agree 👍
Amen to that 🙌🏻
w two worlds was my first drama to ever watch and it's one of my favorites... so thank u for adding it
Very pleased to see "Move to Heaven" on this list, it was deeply moving and really special. Also a second season would definitely be justified. I've seen and loved more than half of these, repeated many of them ("Goblin", "While You Were Sleeping" and "Signal" are great to revisit). Others I've gone back to are "The K2," "Vagabond," "A Korean Odyssey," Crash Landing on You," Romance is a Bonus Book" and "Rookie Historian".
Totally agree about Move to Heaven! The season was too short! I also really enjoyed "Navillera", "Dear My Friends", and "Our Blues".
I suggest you watch Healer if you liked The K2
Agree, I really loved how they dealt with death and family in Move to Heaven. As someone who has worked in aged care and seen many deaths, this show is so beautifully and respectfully written.
I loved all of your add-ons too!
Having watched quite a few K-dramas now, My Mister stands out as one of the very best in terms of story, script, character development and acting. It's a must see ☺️
if you want to watch something a little familiar watch My liberation notes if yuo haven't already. Both my favs and nothing like i have watched before.
My mister was amazing, one of my all time favourites. But I am scared to watch again
@@ilovekimseungmin2027The same person, Park Hae-Young, wrote both of those shows. My Mister is probably my favourite K-drama, but I've been avoiding My Liberation Notes because I don't see how it can compare. I might give it a go based on your recommendation.
@@turnipus didn't know about the same author! might as well check out her other works. My Liberation notes may not top my mister, but it's definitely not gonna disappoint you.
I 100% agree with you!
Add Mr Queen to the list it's one of the best kdramas and a must watch even if you don't like historical dramas or won't have watched one just give it a shot you aren't going to regret anything.
Yess!
I love mr queen, but its not epic enough compared to some of the drama listed in this video .
I agree! PENTHOUSE too
it's my number one favorite!
Under Queen’s Umbrella have become my recent favorite in historical kdramas . So well-written! I cried many times. Such a queen mother!
Crash Landing is my all time favorite. It was not my first K-drama, which was the King's Affection (which I love and still watch), but it raised the bar for me. The acting was great, the chemistry was very strong, and the male lead was unbearably sexy (especially in uniform, to be honest). I think I like it more than other k-romances because the actors are older (as I am). Also, there is something fascinating in an awful way about the North Korea/South Korea divide. Yes, the lead female character is gross in certain ways (all money, money, money), but she's also likable and genuine. But the ending was disappointing. Grrr! I am now a full blown K-drama junkie, however, largely because I can't get over how handsome the men are. Good grief! Must make a visit to Korea soon!
The kings affection is how I got started with Kdrama a year ago and now I cant stop. I feel like I have seen every drama/romcom now.
Crash Landing was among the first dramas I watched. After that I’m hooked on plenty and my Netflix list is 80% kdramas. I’m in the U.K. 🇬🇧 😂
It ruined all other romantic k dramas for me..definitely my all time best
Oh and they are together in real life!!
Do you know they are married and even have a child irl
I started watching K-dramas during the 2020 quarantine and am hooked - SO much better than American "reality" TV! Goblin has to be my favorite of the group, but now I'm excited to watch some of the others you've listed. Thanks!
Definitely Tomorrow if you like Goblin!
@@icebear3561 I agree... Tomorrow is awesome.
Yes Tomorrow is a great series but be prepared for alot of heartbreaking scenes that made even me tearup.
SO agree with you! Watch K-Dramas daily…..it all started during COVID with ‘Boys Over Flowers’ and haven’t stopped since. I am 64 years old and listen to K-Pop as well, with my favorite group being SHINee and BTS. At my age I am enjoying every minute that South Korea has to offer us 💙💙.
@@aliciadoxon2467 I agree with you! I have been watching K Dramas long before they were available online... been listening to Kpop for well over a decade now. IU is my favorite entertainer in the world. Her acting is wonderful and her singing is truly incredible. If you haven’t seen it, try watching the variety show Hyori’s Homestay. Also known as Hyori’s Bed And Breakfast. It’s such a wonderful show... and heartwarming.
“Move to heaven” is the drama everyone should watch💜 “Mouse”, “Flower of evil” and “Crash landing on you” should be in the list as well!
I totally agree!!! Watched all the ones you listed and Flower of Evil is the best. Also loved Itaewon, Healer, Start-up, King’s Affection and Extraordinary Woo.
Hometown Cha Cha Cha is my absolute favorite show ever...and that includes out of american shows too. It's a masterpiece with some of the best acting I've seen! I'm a huge fan
It was really good. One of my favs.
I can't believe you didn't talk about My Mister, that drama is a number 1 for me! It is the only drama where I was invested in ALL the characters that starred, plus it dealt with serious topics that occur in everyday life
I agree ! My mister is the best drama, always and forever with me.
Yeah probably the most realistic drama in kdrama history
Yes same!
My fave kdrama as well.
You may like lost (2021) too if you haven't watched it.
My favorite dramas are:
1) Because this is my first life
2) Our beloved summer
3)Hometown cha cha cha
4) Move to heaven
5) Tomorrow
6) Romance is a bonus book
7) Hospital playlist 1&2
8)It's ok to not be ok
9) Happiness
10) Vincenzo

Totally agree. It's actually one of my favorites. Great story, great acting!
A few notable mentions "Crash Landing on you" "Vincenzo" "Business Proposal"
Where’s itaewon class? Crash landing on you? Mr queen? Pinocchio? A lot more too. These in the video seems to be Netflix favs but you’re missing out if you’re restricting yourself to those mentioned in the video
ikr how could they not mention cloy 😭 its what got most ppl into kdrama during the pandemic
I think Mr sunshine should be here, very good directory , well written and high quality budget. The cast is also amazing.
the ending was kinda meh. but it could just be me. but i dont hate the flag ending just the other one before that.
Totally agree. Mr.Sunshine is still my all time favorite kdrama. Youth of May was also very good. So was Navillera.

Yes yes yes!!! I agree it’s my top one.
I've watched all of these on your list. My personal favorite is "Reply 1988". Watched it many times and have followed the career of Hyeri and found she is just a brilliant actress,
I loved this show too but wondered if the couple was meant to be a different pair originally
Reply 1988 is the drama I can watch hundreds of time.
@@aura_dhya Me too! I just love the characters and storyline. Truly the best Kdrama.
I loved “Tunnel” starring Choi Jin Hyuk. A thriller, suspense filled sentimental drama about a policeman who time slips into the future to catch a serial killer.
I liked Tunnel, may go back for a second watch...
Tunnel was excellent
Tomorrow is something nobody can miss! It’s a beautiful family friendly treasure (family friendly meaning there’s no romance so you don’t feel awkward when watching with strict Parents)
Try watching. Nevertheless. With family... I hope it will be a great time together.

• The world of married
• My name
•Vincenzo
• Eve
•Extraordinary attorney woo young woo
•Alchelmy of souls

Flower of evil 😍
The Devil Judge and Innocent Defendant. Both with Ji Sung. Brilliant both, but not the talk of the town, unfortunately. Ji Sung is the king of kdrama. Capable to show such a charisma that was barely seen on screen since the invention of TV.
Even his Secret love is great
Move to Heaven was outstanding. Wish they’d make another season. The male who played the lead was an amazing actor. Everyone turned in stellar performances.
Agreed! This show was so moving had us in tears every episode! Would definitely watch a second season!
Watch him in “Signal”!
@@pingteo6104 ooo yes!
@@NoOrdinaryLoveSeries he also star taxi driver
sat here waiting for these titles to show up but they never did, so i'll list them myself:
- VINCENZO: a dark comedy w/ one hell of a twist (you will do a double-take; might even go back and rewatch the first few episodes to make sure you didn't misunderstand) and one of the most natural slow-burn romances seen. this one really has *everything* you'd want in a k-drama. it's top-tier.
- BUSINESS PROPOSAL: a perfect, all-in-one blend of the quintessential romance genre tropes and deliciously done so; plus, the two couples look like they could've given birth to kim taehyung (shin ha-ri & kang tae-mu) and jeon jungkook (jin young-seo & cha sung-hoon) of bts.
- RUN-ON: a refreshing in every which way yet shamefully underrated drama.
- MY MISTER: a heartwarming story about an unlikely friendship between a down-on-her-luck young woman and a wronged-yet-noble middle-aged man; their relationship is the word comfort itself.
- START-UP: incredibly inspiring with an endearing relationship between a young kid and a sweet ol' grandma.
- ITAEWON CLASS: super-inclusive bad-ass revenge drama with an awesome soundtrack, to boot.
the titles mentioned in this video are brilliant. i especially loved signal, goblin and hometown cha cha cha. currently watching twenty-five twenty-one and tomorrow and i've got reply 1988 and taxi driver on my watchlist!
I loved Vincenzo!
Taxi driver is a must watch.
Itaewon Class started GREAT, but became (almost) unwatchable at the end.
If you liked RunOn, you should watch Misaeng. Same male lead but completely different character and not what I was expecting at all but it had me totally hooked.
@@melaniea1514 I liked Misaeng, but whoof it was a hard watch. I just watched My Mister and was blown away by it, I would love it if they would do a sequel. I feel like it was very similar in a way to My Mister, but My Mister was better to my mind. Having said that I haven't watched Misaeng in quite a while, it was one of the first Kdramas I watched.
You should add Hotel del Luna too in this list 🥺
I totally agree ... my favorite K-Drama ...💞💞
Goblin is one of my all time favorites. So is While You Were Sleeping. Jung Hae In is an amazing actor: Something in the Rain, One Spring Night, - both great shows that could have made the list. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo and Strong Girl Bong Soon are also on my top 10. I also love Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung and Hwarang. Itaewon Class, Dear My Friends, and Where the Camellia Blooms are also not to be missed.
I just finished watching the guardian the lonely and great god it was soo good I didn't wanted to end I can't believe it so underrated and most people don't even know about that k drama
Yes where the Camilla blooms felt so different to me, it was amazing to have a more 'normal' storyline, like more relatable and touching. Also the main leads relationship is so beautiful
@@Juu_de I agree 👍 💯
Tomorrow is so underrated, it deserves more viewers and ratings. There is no way you hate this series. I have re-watch it 3 times and i am still Willing to watch it. It is one of my most favorite drama. I have watched many dramas but this one is in my top list.
I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. None of these are on my top 12, however Vincenzo, Lovers of the Red Sky, Moon Lovers, the Scholar who walked the Night among others are.
Signal definitely deserves to be here, as does Sky Castle & Move to Heaven.
I would like to add :
1. My Mister
2. Mr Sunshine
3. Mother
4. Our Blues
5. Itaewon Class
Definitely agree to add those you mentioned

thank you for mentioning Itaewon Class. I've watched it about 7 times. Every episode is a morality play
“It’s okay to not be okay” is a MASTERPIECE. It’s the best drama I have ever watched.
Absolutely a masterpiece!! I read that it was not that popular in S.Korea which sounds very surprising when it is such an outstanding human condition story!
Although i hate the ending 'Twenty Five Twenty One ' top my list. One of the best kdrama existing out here and I swear by it. Honestly I first started watching this drama for NJH but Kim Tae Ri was the one I fell for.A drama that reflected the face of reality so beautifully. It showed us the way life actually works and turns out to be, never knowing what difficulties or the happiness awaits us at the curve. It's not like every other feelgood k-drama. You guys should also check out Kim Taeri's 'Mr Sunshine' and 'The Handmaiden. Its so good. Now im her biggest fan ♥️
Vincenzo should be on this list.
Hometown cha cha cha is my favorite from this list. As for dramas that got me hooked recently, I would say Ghost Doctor with Rain and Kim Bum. It hooked me good. I binged the series in one sitting.
Me too! I really LOVED it
I loved ghost Doctor
loved Rain
It was so very good!!!!
I just recently watched it. It's already my favourite from all the dramas I've watched
i’ve never bawled my eyes out and been absolutely furious more to a kdrama then in tomorrow but i also never laughed and smiled more than in tomorrow because the cases they worked on and the people they saved was so endearing
Seeing Tomorrow being in Top 12 at 5th position makes me so happy.
A must watch!!

sorry but what about Moon Lovers, My Mister, Mister Sunshine, Korean Odyssey, My Love from the Stars, It is OK not to be OK, Crash Landing on you.... there are lots of Dramas that equal your 12.
I loved Goblin, and Tomorrow actually moved this cynical heart to tears more than once. I loved this show. I have enjoyed many K-dramas, and I don't know if you class these as great, but this year I have watched From Now On, Showtime and Jirisan which have had me hooked. I haven't watched any American by-the-numbers shows since I discovered Asian dramas.

@@neokhohlooa5573 mine too!!!😜☠️ or….. 나두!!!! 나두!!!!
Same! I watched Goblin 3 times already! It’s my favorite! Tomorrow was really good too! These help me manage my “haters” and deal with “life” challenges. It’s nice to see how situations can be universal and not specific to a particular culture, country, or gender…we all are dealing with the same sh*t in one form or another! I find that comforting and easier for me to “push through” ….love those k-dramas!
@@neokhohlooa5573 hahah same xd
Same! 😂 My husband complains that our Netflix recommendations are all K Dramas!
"All of us are dead" is pretty good, too. I highly recommend it! I doubt you'll regret watching it.
I love that series too ☺ already watched it twice
Crash Landing On You is my all time favorite. Not only does it provide a peek at life in N Korea and the cultural differences between a communist society and a free society, it provides a well written love romance, with added humor. It was well casted, too - from the key stars to the supporting actors and actresses. The cinematography - how it was produced, screen played, and filmed - adds to this excellent story line. I introduce others to K Drama by showing them Crash Landing on You first. It is a must see K Drama.
Absolutely agree with yy 💜,,, I can’t get over it
Navillera is missed in this list...it's a beautifully sad kdrama...
I am happy that Reply 1988 and Goblin made it to this list...
It rated poorly.
What about Vincenzo….
I just watched the most amazing series!! The Crowned Clown 💗 The cast and acting was superb. The storyline was so engaging. There is drama, romance, comedy, beautiful cinematography & wardrobe… I can’t say enough. This is my favorite overall 👏🏼 Highly recommended to watch. Plus the actors are so beautiful. Mesmerizing 💗
For me “Crush landing on you” is the best one ever! I highly recommend it!!!
You can't make a best kdrama list without including Scarlett Heart Ryeo.
totally agree!!! it's one of my faves and i'm so glad that i found it
I hope netflix consider this on
Absolutely. Such performance! Heartbreaking story.
The end traumatised me for a few days 😭 had to rewatch the last episode to make sure I didn’t miss anything
I wish I could say the same but I expected to cry more and I didn’t. I wanted to watch a heartrending drama and it was sad but it’s not in my top list. Still solid.
You forgot Vincenzo.

You...did right to forget vincenzo🤑🤑😑🤣🤣
Vincenzo has incredible details, but the so call “comedy” killed it for me. When Vincenzo finally becomes who he is it was and incredible acting that simply gave me fear goosebumps. Also he is so cute….I needed more development into his barriers for love and the main relationship. Those two could have given us something to remember…
As Korean, The real Korean drama was not translated yet. 2000's was golden time for Korean drama
Tae Ho?!?!?! haha
I couldn’t finish Vincenzo, the comedy was soo cringe and cheesy that I could not take the show seriously
Thanks for this video, I started watching Korean dramas in 2021, Goblin was the 1st one I watched, I was so impressed that I got my fiance to watch with me he enjoyed Voice, & Vagabond.... I've watched so many Korean dramas and I've enjoyed each one.... The actors portry the characters so well that when I watch Hollywood movies I pick up the bad acting real quick, I've watched most of the dramas on your list, but you left out King the eternal monarch it was a really good fantasy one I enjoyed, it was my 2nd one I watched after Goblin.... Thank you!!! Korea for producing these brilliant TV dramas....
Flower of Evil, My love from the stars, Oh my Ghost, Record of Youth, W - Two worlds, It's Ok Not to Be Ok, Crash Landing Onto You just a few of my favorites!! I watched 5 out of the 12 you recommended - will watch the rest
Started watching KDrama 12 years ago, have not watched regular tv ever since.Mischa outstanding acting. Beautiful, cinematography, great costumes in the historical dramas. Stunning scenery.
Eleven years now for me.
Surprised that IONTBO, Crash Landing on You is not here but Homecha, 2521 really do make it feel like theres nothing better.
98% of historical k-dramas are always a hit.
I've rewatched twenty five twenty one like five-six times already and I'm telling you, this drama is indeed a masterpiece. I love this drama so so much. Like, everything in this series is perfect! The actors, the dialogue delivery, romance, humor, the OSTs and this series have portrayed fencing so accurately and this indeed left me in tears in the end. I would highly recommend it to everybody!
nope, just hype, nothing special about it.
@@lolz2566 rotfl, this masterpiece is recognized only by the mature connoisseur. "Nothing special" my ass. Almos all iconic movies are initially underestimated
I love that the last scene is after the credits - so unexpected.
@@nickjohnson811 "the first" is meaningful. I understood this movie when Hee-do daughter asked her about the trip to the beach. And the answer. This movie is about life, not just about love.
I love Na Heed do, such a nice character
I know its a list of 12 but Misaeng should've been there too it's one of my all time faves. It's such a gem that portrays the day to day struggles of work life and is quite relatable.
Moonlight drawn by clouds.. Strong Woman Bon Soon, descendants of the sun, the masters sun, Hyena, alchemy of souls.. so many amazing dramas..I’ve been watching Korean Ja-anise and Chinese dramas for many years and their stories are so good! So happy to see them become more mainstream now bc they deserve all the accolades they are receiving!
Maureen Jennings Ja-anise? Also have you seen Xu Kai and Bai Lu in Arsenal Military Academy? Those two have been in a few now, they're really good together, but I really loved them in AMA!
@@pennycandyys I haven’t yet- it good really good reviews:) . I generally watch more rom coms & historicals some of my favs are Love is sweet, Boss and Me, the eternal love, TMOPblossoms, & anything with Lusi in it. Thanks for the suggestion I will add it to my list :)

My top 10 not your average drama playlist.

2. My Ajussi
3. Come and Hug me
4. The smile has left your eyes
5. Ill go to you when the weather is nice
6. The Liberation Notes
7. Our Blues
8. Prison Playbook
9. I wanna hear your song
10. Uncontrollably fond
My Mister was a masterpiece. One of the BEST KDramas ever made!!
I agree !
Someone said it at last🥲
Drama "Tomorrow" has inspiring stories. Rowoon, Kim Hee-Seon, Lee Soo-Hyuk, Yun Ji-On are all great actors. I feel however the directors did not bring out the stories as good as they should. As a result, some episodes were a bit slow. Nonetheless, "Tomorrow" is still a drama worth watching.
It's no doubt the best drama.. Compare to other cringy boring love story... Its worth investing your time.🙂
To hard to watch if you've lost a family member who was too young to go.
Just finished watching "My Liberation Notes" and it fits on this list . . . so damn GOOD !
Oh yeahhh My liberation Notes was ultimate comfort for me. As someone who is not that introvert but at the same time not that extrovert, I found the story touch my heart since the first episode 😄
Haven't watched it yet but the same writer as the great My Mister, I believe.
@@michaelkarlin130 My Mister was excellent.
@@michaelkarlin130 My Mister is my personal favorite and my introduction to the incredibly talented IU (love her music now too)
Yesss!!!!
Tomorrow deserves sooo much more attention it is one of the best drama I have seen ever
Enjoyed your list. Noticed Lee Je Hoom is in 3 of the 12. Since you listed Signal , a suspence thriller (that I love), I suggest watching the drama Mouse. From start to end I could walk away. This drama allowed all actors (women, men, children, young adult, adult, and elderly) to deliver great performances.
Like your channel! I have watched dramas based on your reviews.
I would like to add:
1. It’s Okay To Not Be Okay
2. Our Beloved Summer
3. Beautiful World
4. Extraordinary Attorney Woo
5. Anna
6. Pinocchio
7. The Uncanny Counter
8. My Love From The Star
9. Business Proposal
10. Mr. Queen
I haven't watched It's Okay.. because I don't like the female lead but It recieved good ratings and did well on Netflix. Even though I adore Kim Dami's acting ability, I couldn't get into Our Beloved Summer. The best dramas on your list by far are Extraordinary Attorney Woo and Buisness Proposal.😁🙏
I didn't see Start Up, It's okay to not be okay, Flower of evil, Extracurricular, and Extraordinary you.
I haven't watch start up, extracurricular yet but I can say other three are masterpiece
I loved all of these especially Tomorrow and Goblin. Twenty-five, Twenty-one was so incredible until the end.
Awesome!
Not only are there a few on the list I haven’t seen, but suggestions in the comments are great too. I am always looking for high quality suggestions.
Going to have to save this vid. Thanks!
Tomorrow was the first kdrama I watched. It was amazing and I was hooked after that. The Uncanny Counter had a great storyline and wonderful acting. I just finished watching My Name last night and can't stop thinking about it. The music, characters, it's all so well done you can't help but be invested in the story. Vagabond, too.
Goblin, Taxi Driver, Tomorrow and Move to Heaven were my favorites. Hometown Cha Cha Cha is also great!
does tomrrow have a romance?
@@FameRK No....BUT IT IS SUCH A PERFECT FRIENDSHIP DRAMA that you'll never need Romance element in it
@@FameRK no, but the relationship between each member is wonderful.
The guardian the lonely great god was really good just finished it
Frankly, especially if compared to works here in the United States, most K-dramas would be on this list. I find them entertaining and well written.
"Crash landing on you" best ❤️. How come no one talking about that 😭
I will add to this list "Mr. Queen", "Vincenzo", "Graceful Family", "Mr. Sunshine", "Mad for each other"
The following K-dramas are all No. 1 on my list: 1. FATED TO LOVE YOU - Oh my Lord, I watched it twice and I am planning to watch it again. This drama got me hooked to K-dramas. I fell in love with the actor and actress. They had great chemistry. 1. Squid Game, God so realistic it was scary. 1. Extraordinary Attorney Woo - amazing actress, amazing drama and amazing story. The actress was fabulous and never lost sight of the character. 1. Crash Landing on You - I laughed, I cried, I learned, and again I cried. Loved it.
1 - My mister
2 - The king's affection
3 - Extraordinary attorney Woo
4 - The Empress Ki
5 - Secret affair
6 - Mr. Queen
7 - Itaewon class
8 - Vincenzo
9 - Mr. Sunshine
10 - Sky castle
11 - Move to heaven
12 - One Spring night
Vincenzo, Hotel Del Luna, It's okay to not b okay, Moon Lovers... there are so many more really exeptional dramas
Vincenzo, happiness, cloy, it's okay not to be okay, strong woman do bong soon, 2521, dots , weightlifting fairy, these are my favourite ones
Homecha, SKY castle, reply 1988, kingdom was definitely game changers
18 again, Shopping King Louie, My ID is Gangnam beauty, The beauty inside, Thirty nine, The devil judge, You raise me up, all underrated!
Shopping King Louis is one of the 3 KDramas I’ve rewatched (the others are Coffee Prince & Healer - rewatch Healer every December lol)
@@teleriferchnyfain yes it's so cute and funny, i wasn't expecting that! There are real gems
There are some old kdramas that are just so good they are unforgettable such as Kill me Heal me, Stairway to Heaven and Secret Garden.
Yes I've watched secret garden twice. And of course CLOY
“Move to Heaven” and “Tomorrow “ are 2 of the best Kdrama’s seen on this list. There are more of course, but these are really special. Enjoy fellow Kdrama fans!! Thanks S.Korea for bringing us these outstanding stories that stole our hearts! ❤️ The writers and actors are very talented people and deserve recognition!
Edited to add “Sisyphus The Myth ” a sophisticated SiFi that is binge worthy keeping us on the edge of our seats! Sisyphus is the name of an Ancient Greek god who was an evil trickster - it fits this drama! Oh my gosh as surreal and bizarre parts of it are you keep rooting for the 2main characters and it’s scary enough to think parts of it could really happen. Nail biting and heart breaking! All of the actors are outstanding!!
My Name starring Han So-Hee, is so awesome it shouldn't be overlooked. She did all actions scene and stunts by herself
Out of your 12 I’ve watched 7 my fav being 25/21 second beingReply 1988
My all time favorites are Crash Landing on you, Mr Sunshine, Its ok to not be ok, Liberation Notes, Attorney Woo, Our Blues and Dear my friends
thankyou so much for adding tomorrow because IT IS SERIOUSLY UNDERRATED, and so good!
I had a hard time being interested in another drama after watching it
While you were sleeping is the best drama. The suspense at the end of every episode send you at the edge of the rollercoaster. The romance scenes perfectly balance the thriller scenes and the comedy scenes are also very well done. As a viewer we lean towards the second lead(Jung Hae in) in few scenes. But, the chemistry between Lee Jong Suk and Suzy is worth watching again and again. Special mention to the drama cinematography, beautiful frames throughout the drama...
I think the list needs It's Okay to Not Be Okay as well. Such a heart-felting drama.
Crash Landing on You, Vincenzo and Tunnel need to be added to this otherwise great list. When I'm introducing American friends to KDdama, those are the ones I suggest they watch first to get hooked!
Looking forward to watching some of these. My top 3: The Crowned Clown, Autumn's Concerto and That Winter, The Wind Blows
I'm so glad Move to Heaven was in the top spot. I shed so many tears. I would also add in Vencenzo, such a well acted well balanced drama and Flower of Evil. Again, the acting was superb. 👌💕
I've watched many of the kdrama lists created for various genre, but I haven't seen 'Korean Odyssey' on any list. I thought the 'Korean Odyssey' was an excellent fantasy with humor and drama. I thought it was so good that I could watch it again and again. 👍👍🥰
You're right, Korean Odyssey is another interesting Korea movie
It's on MY ?ist. I've watched it again and again. It was actually just the second Kdrama I saw. CLOY was the first one.
You said it. I was wondering why nobody mentions korean Odyssey
Mouse. A psychological crime thriller. A masterpiece.
Hospital Playlist, The Good Manager, When The Camelia Blooms and Juvenile Justice each deserves a spot as well lol I'm waiting for part 2!
