Just the fact that 3 shows staring jung hae in is in the list just shows how underrated he is .such a great actor
Yesss! I noticed that too. He's fabulous!
I consider Jung Haein's D.P. as underrated too, esp internationally. Imagine all the Netflix originals that aren't nearly as good charting in other countries while DP barely did? It's criminal.
And yes, Jung Haein is the best actor of his generation.
Absolutely. Such disparity with his style of acting to that of the criminally "highest paid" who's acting is so predictable.
@@AC-lg7vi it was so good
Agreed! Hae in is so underrated..he is remarkable both in SITR and OSN..2 of my top5 kdrama of all time! But if u will read reviews on IG and YT, a lot Hae In's fans are making it felt that he is an awesome actor and he deserve much more
"My Mister" and "My Liberation notes" are probably some of the best kdramas I've ever seen. These are the type of kdramas that made me stop watching Hollywood series
I'm currently watching Misaeng - it's giving those vibes too!!
totally agree they are pure gems, both are in my top 10 series i seen in my lifetime.
💯
@@TheK-DramaLoungeIt's one of my faves too, along with One Spring Night, Prison Playbook My Mister (all in your list)...and D.P. which I feel is criminally underrated too.
Then watch Encounter as well guys which gives similar vibes kind of peaceful, artistic and beautiful.
"Something in the rain " is one of the best romances out there .u can't get over how cute their relationship is
I've watched it so many times that I don't remember. They're so cute together.
Their chemistry is so good.jun hee is what I hope to find in my future husband
Can we talk abt their chemistry ❤
But the characterization of her mother is too psychotic.
@@StefanoDallAgata honestly I'm from south east asia .and mums like this exist here. Even worse ones I'm afraid.
I feel like it's bcoz most kdramas r fluffy and don't really showcase many issues they face in real life.as a result mny foreigners watching this might find it weird. But the truth is the culture in Asia is very different from the west
.For eg her work trouble with her seniors is something that's happening even now in Korea but mostly ignored by the majority shows. Her mum is not just fictional it's very representative of many such mums out there .
One Spring Night is one of my all time favorite kdrama! I have watched it many times 💜
yes, me too!
I can't get over how good it is, my daughter always laughs at me on some "Mama, it's been 3 years watching the same drama over and over again"😆... You know I use to scroll right through until one night I decided to watch episode 1, I'm telling you I was never the same again, I actually had to make an excuse at work that I was not feeling well. I watched all sixteen episodes and only slept after🤣
I love it so much❤❤❤
One spring night is my go to drama whenever I don't know what to watch. I love it!
It's such a good story
@@TheK-DramaLounge it really is. I like that it's about normal people, no chaebol's and stuff.
Yes this drama is good❤❤❤
It's forever on my Continue Watching list not bc I can't finish it but bc I keep on rewatching it. ❤ It's on my top 5 fave kdramas list.
@@AC-lg7vi mine too... I am glad I'm not the only one😍
One spring night and something in the rain are excellent art work
שתי הסדרות הנ״ל , גרמו לי להחשף ולהנות מסדרות קוריאניות. לדעתי הן בין המומלצות לצפייה❤❤❤
Something in the rain and my mister are nowhere near underrated they are considered among the tops of their genres.
Jung hae is a great actor
Love him!
Best actor of his generation.
Good list. Something in the Rain and My Misters are two of the best kdramas out there.
I agree.
My liberation notes, absolutely great!
I found it boring
My Liberation Notes ... excellent, I loved it.
1. Something In The Rain
2. Run On
3. My Mister
4. Doctor John
5. She Would Never Know
6. Agency
7. Prison Playbook
8. Happiness
9. One Spring Night
10. My Liberation Notes
Crash Landing on You
One spring night is really good!
Soo good!!!
These dramas are all so good, my personal favorite is One spring night!
I believe Rain or Shine with Lee Junho is a very well made drama..I suggest people watch it. I have watched few times over and reakized just how well Junho acts in this series. One of my 1st Kdramas to watch and i was truly impressed.
something in rain and one spring night are literally the same drama starring the same male lead. nevertheless i love them both.
Jung Hae In's every show is a must watch
Prison playbook is unlike any other
Great list! I've seen and rec these titles for sure: Something in the Rain, One Spring Night and Run On.
Something in the Rain
One Spring Night
She Would Never Know
Hard to go past ‘My Mister’ which for me is a dramatic masterpiece beyond the K-drama genre. It’s not so much a traditional romance but a life-affirming testament to ‘agape’ (spiritual) love, decency and the power of human connection. I think ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’ - which has similar strengths- also belongs on this list as does ‘Daily Dose of Sunshine’
I love One Spring Night, I watch it over and over.
My mister....
I wanted to see this show but i haven't been able to watch any of his work since his death. I find myself in tears whenever i did. His death was heartbreaking.
It is one of my favourites of all time but I can't bring myself to rewatch it because I'm heartbroken. It is a brilliant drama.
@@maureenjohnson4761 I truly believe I would cry all the way through.
@@jayfrankie4688 yeah, it would be tough but I'm sad for you because it really is such a well written, well acted show.
I watched it not long after his death, and while I was pretty weepy throughout, there's no denying that it's a brilliant drama. I'm really glad I watched. After that I watched Coffee Prince, Pasta and some of his movies. Brilliant actor and precious man, gone too soon.
My Mister is the best drama I have ever seen...it kept me wanting for more...but now we can't even expect that😢
Not sure I’d consider most of these underrated. Most are extremely popular on Netflix
One Spring Night is the lesser known sibling of Something in the Rain, while Prison Playbook is the lesser known sibling of Reply 1988 and Hospital Playlist.
One Spring Night, Prison Playbook and My Mister are all on my top 5 fave kdramas list, along with IMO 2 underrated dramas, D.P. and Misaeng: Incomplete Life. I love underdogs. ❤
I'm glad SHE WOULD NEVER KNOW was on you list!! Excellent show!!!
Liberation Notes is a nice drama
My mister is so good. IU never fails to impress me
I’ve seen almost all of these and I can say your list is pretty good! The second couple in Run On was actually the best couple. They were on fire!🔥. Something in the Rain was very, very good. I enjoyed that unique male single parent relationship in One Spring Night. I would add:
Live Ip to Your Name
So I Married the Anti-Fan
My Holo Love
Touch Your Heart
Bora Deborah: True to Love
Romance is a Bonus Book
Gaus Electronics
I completely agree with you!! Yes the second couple in Run On, and I wish there were more stories like that of One Spring Night
This list has many of my favorite kdramas--Happiness, Dr. John, One Spring Night, Something in the Rain. I need to check out Agency and Run On.
Loved She Would EverKnow - Rowoon is fantastic
Jung Hae In dramas are so beautiful and cute. He is so natural and unique. I watched his dramas like, a piece of your mind, something in the rain, one spring night, etc so many times and still I'm thirsty of watching him again and again...keep up the good job man, take care...be happy and healthy ❤️❤️❤️
My Liberation Notes, Happiness, Prison Playbook, My Mister, Something In The Rain are really good dramas. And, Happiness for me was the perfect drama during Pandemic
Another Netflix drama that I found underated was mad for each other. It was fun to watch
Mr sunshine ❤❤❤
When My Love Blooms is very good. The young couple are very believable, and the sound track is beautifull!
1. My Mister
2. Agency
3. Something in the Rain
4. One Spring Night
Did not like the others, if you like 3 and 4 then might like The Midnight Romance in Hagwon, same director.
One Spring Night We Want The a wedding Story ❤️❤️❤️
Except for Run on, these are all really good. Some better than others but a very good list.
Thank you for mentioning "Dr.John". That is one underrated drama and I wonder why people don't talk about it more. It actually spoke to me at several levels, especially the idea of our ability and inability to feel pain, which was clearly as much symbolic as physical in the show.
My mister literally is one movie that make iu an actress. Showcasing her acting skills.
Han Ji-min is amazing in everything. If Familiar Wife was still on Netflix (it's on Amazon Prime now) it would be atop this list. My Mister is a top 5 all-time show, not just KDrama.
I love her too.
Did you watch The light in your eyes and Miss Baek (moovie 2018) ?
@ValBrindilles Yes! I've seen them both. She deserved the Oscar for Miss Baek!! Plan Man is another great performance from her. Prooves she can do comedy and drama.
@@lordrahl2345 I watched Plan man yesterday, Thanks to you 🫡 it's a great one, I didn't know she could sing 😁 In Behind your touch she made me laugh in her quirky role when she finds herself on the cow... And in Our Blues I did not recognize her immediately. She can indeed embody all possible characters with accuracy. I try to watch everything with her.
Have a good day 👋
I liked a lot: One spring night, Prison playbook, Agency and Something in the rain. But I loved My mister. This drama wasn't underrated. It had a high rating and got lots of premiums
One Spring Night ❤
Vagabond, Third Charm, Mad for Each other, Lovestruck in the City
Lovestruck in the City is one of my favourites!!
Vagabond is good until the last two episodes
My Mister is my MOST favorite - watched it 3 times
I LOVED Prison Playbook and Something In The Rain.
Agency (2023) performed very well in South Korea, the series earned a national weekly audience share average of 9.95%. The audience share increased each week, with the final episode scoring a series high of a national audience share of 16% - a sign that it was a good series. The series also performed well internationally on both Viki and Netflix. Agency is one of my favourite K-Drama series of last year.
Agree most heartily with putting My Mister on the list--significantly underrated.
when camellia blooms
Whoever wrote these recommendations has a great taste in drama. I'm currently watching "Agency" and I love it when plots are mixed with true psychology, not unrealistic ones or normalizing toxic behaviors. Please, recommend more of such amazing work. Thank you!
Yes!!! I'm glad!! More recommendations coming soon!!
My liberation note, happyness, prisson playbook, my mister, something in the rain❤
I was pleasantly surprised with My Liberation Notes. Couldnt get over the lines "Worship me. Love isnt enough." Whoa.
One spring night and something in the rain i watched thid two again again
Oh Thank you im still stuck and replaying Hidden Love, its sooooo good ,Thank you for the recommendation ❤❤
Hidden love is very good, but is Chinese drama.
Thank you, I had not seen this mistake, @fvmunteanu
My Mister is the best drama for me. Incomparable!
My mister, One spring night, Something in the rain, Prison playbook... are not underrated at all maybe Misaeng, Black dog (no longer on Netflix 😔), The Interest of love, My liberation notes...
Anyway these k-dramas are all excellents with deep subjects, I can watch them again and again except My mister (my favorite k-drama), I need some time to do it... Lee Sun-Kyun 🤍🙏🤍
I completely agree with you
Wow. These really are underrated...I’ve never even heard of them
My libaration note ❤
Something in th rain and My Mister are great not underrated..just watch them..❤
OSN. Fantastic 10/10 for me. All Actors played their roles so well not a weak link. And as for Score wonderful. Listen to that over and over. Further season would be much anticipated - please.
“ Twinkling watermelon “ very underrated.
I don’t think it’s on Netflix. At least not in America. However it’s a great show
I don't think so, It was one of the popular darma of 2023
Some of these aren't underrated at all. I was already a kdrama watcher when My Liberation Notes and Happiness were shown and everyone was talking about them on Twitter.
My Mister is one of my favorites. I don't understand why it is underrated.
The fact that they are still on Netflix means people are still watching them.
My liberation notes is an absolute gem and a 10/10 in my books. Jung Hae In is such a fantastic actor
good suggestions!!
Glad you like them!
80 percent from the dramas you put here I watched more then 50 times. One spring night I watched more then 100 times. I love Han Ji Min, I love won ji na in ‘She would never know’, she is acting very good.
1.
My Mister. My favorite. It is more realistic than most kdramas, that portray wealth, etc and beautifully surgically enhanced actors, Oops, sorry.
2. Prison Playbook
3. Happiness
I was bored in the first episodes of My Liberation Notes. If Im not captivated enough in the first 2 episodes i quit watching.
My sister felt the same way but once you get to episodes 3-4 it picks up !!
Jung Hae-in my favorite. He is acting genius ❤️Need more drama’s of him
Something in the Rain is the BEST Kdrama EVER and FOREVER!
V is my new happy vitamin for the day.
Happiness is one of my absolute favorites.
Enjoyed Mr Mister, Doctor John, Agency.
Best part of Agency is the heiress and her assistant. She Would Never would have been great if the FL’s character wasn’t so unbearable, but the 2nd lead couple’s story is worth watching
Another drama that nobody talks about that’s worth watching is Behind your Touch. The Behind part is a play on words as the FL has to touch someone’s Behind to access her powers.
I need to watch Behind your touch, i've been curious
@@TheK-DramaLounge it’s a great comedy mystery
Doctor John is not on Netflix in the US but is on Viki. Perhaps it's on Netflix in other regions?
My Mister is an excellent drama and is on both sites. I would highly recommend this to anyone. This one is even rewatchable, it's so good.
On Netflix Germany 😊
I see there is forever people favoring Something in the Rain over One Spring Night. And obviously people's preferences differ.
For me it's two completely different stories.
One Spring Night focusses on the main leads and all the decisions and struggles they need to face (but not boring at all) before they can be happy together.
Something in the Rain has a similar plot, but there is too much focus on the side story (for me). Therefore, it becomes draggy and boring in the middle (again for me).
Overall, I feel One Spring Night has a more realistic feel to it. It's like a warm blanket that you can always cuddle with. This is obviously my go to Drama if I have nothing I can or want to watch.
It's very ironic. Jung Hae-in said he wasn't acting at full potential while filming One Spring Night (which everyone disagrees with). I DON'T want to know how it would've been if he "was". Everything Jung Hae-in touches is gold.
But it is sad that Jung Hae-in isn't as well known as someone would think. His acting is superb.
Business proposal was really funny and is a cute romance story
Yes! I've re-binged it so many times
As someone who has watched everything on this list and a few of which I have repeated more than 3x already (Jung Hae In's 2 dramas, Agency, Prisonplaybook, Run On, she would never know), I wasn't aware they're underrated😂
Tune for love is a very good Drama which I myself watched it 30 40 times
My perfect stranger, missing, unlock my boss, from now on showtime, judge vs judge, squad 38 (no one has even heard of this one 😂) just to name a few really underrated ones
I think this title is wrong because all these drama's are very nice and heart❤❤❤ touching
Yes it is very good. I was disappointed it finished, and I was expecting for more. OHH.
How are these underrated except for "She would never know" maybe
?
Behind your touch 10/10
Why does no one ever mention Chocolate?! 😢 That K-drama was so moving, and I still think about it after having watched numerous series. Some on this list I found just meh. But wholeheartedly agree with One Spring Night. Have just started Prison Playbook, love the concept.
Add 2 more - Mad For Each Other and Racket Boys
About time which is not on Netflix is under rated An amazing series
Live up to your name….number one!
Mad for each other......
And some of them are so boring we cannot see the end😅
I think "The One And Only"with Ahn Eun Jin And Kim Kyung Nam,it'sa sad love story❤❤❤❤❤
Something in the rain… underrated? Are you kidding me?
The Golden spoon ✨✨
Happiness is a GREAT KDRAMA but is NOT available in the US market on Netflix. I was able to watch it during a trip to the Philippines. I found My Mister, My Liberation Notes, and Prison Playbook boring/uninteresting in the first few episodes to the point of not finishing them. That says something since I have watched over a hundred kdramas.
One Spring Night ❤❤❤
Branding in Seougdu is also underated
I don't think Something in the Rain is underrated.
Look my 1st. Beauty inside no lie
Tell me something I don't know
She would never know ❤
