Thanks for the excellent review on the Eliet Shredder. Here in the USA they are not seen on jobs at all but I have seen them on display at nursery trade shows. Impressive machines. I just am still not convinced they will do the job with larger branches very well with just a small 14 hp. motor. Any chance that you could do a video on larger, dried out material?
Good machine, some very nice mulch. Often hear complaints about costs of kit, but people forget any machine is a 3-5 year investment, tip runs are so costly in time. 👍👍
Fantastic machine... Already have the mk4 self feed 2006. Really happy with that but i only paid a bargain price of £850 5years ago. . I could get more for it even now. However, as fantastic as your machine is,i just cant justify spending that kind of money. I get your ethos ....and it will keep its value..happy chipping.
Hi Scott, just come across your channel and this video. I've been day-dreaming about a Vector 4S with the tracks. You mention at the start that you were thinking of a Vector but it had a couple of things you didn't like. Would you mind saying what they were? I'm in N.Ireland and haven't been able to get a look at a Vector yet. Currently using a Bearcat Chipper/Shredder (2 separate chutes) and totally buy into the shredding on site system. Saves so much stress and effort. Bearcat is a toy compared to your machine! How do you find the size of the machine in the van, particularly if you're taking bags of material away? Have you found it to be a bit cumbersome and takes up a bit too much space? You're happy you still have plenty of space around it to bring stuff away? Congratulations on the new machine, enjoy it and I've subscribed to see more!
Thanks mate. The tracks sold it really as the vector I looked at was on wheels. It does take up a good bit of van space but it’s better than towing a chipper or trailer. Since I sorted the initial problem it’s been a great buy. Would definitely recommend this model.
I am currently saving for the eliet minor, I used to have a primo, they are really good, they are not a chipper, but shredder, great for mulching for compost.
This makes complete sense, a logical approach, you only need to use it times 43 times for it pay for itself that's probably less than 2 years. If you keep it for 5 years and generally look after it, it would be worth £5k second hand, minimum, so you are only looking for pay back on £6k, based on a cost of £140 saving on dump fees.
Looks a very impressive machine, nice wide hopper. shredded to dust. Might take you handful of years to recoup but when you sell it because a shiny new one is in the dealership in a few years, you won't need to cover that 11k.

Fantastic machine 🍃👌🏼
Thanks mate I’m impressed with it.

I have the minor bought earlier this year 2nd hand great machine and with the size great for tight space access
I had the major years ago and that was a good machine too.
Definitely seems like a good investment for you, I like the mulch that these shredders produce compared to a chipper
Yes it’s very fine stuff.
11k seems a fair price for that, what's the commercial warranty on it? Nice one 👌
A couple of years I think it is mate. I don’t tend to take much notice of the finer details 😂
Super bit of kit,all stress taken out with labour and disposal issues.worth every penny in the end.
Thanks Jeremy.

Yes it’s a big outlay but when you do the maths you soon get the money back.

Probably keep this for 10 years 😄
Looks a mega bit of kit that mate. Goes through green waste well
It does mate I am over the moon with it.
