Hi there where can I buy the other brush heads the coil ones
Wow I want one but $ 6,000 little pricey
Looks lovely ! First time having a lawn. Had new turf rolled and it’s adapted ! And it’s time to mow soon! Not sure where to begin 😢
Do you get enough jobs to cover the cost . Is leaf collecting a good earner . I wondering what to change .
Actually when you said “will it save you time” the best time saver for me is I just use the Billy goat walk behind blower and just take all the leaves in the yard and blow them into a line then vacuum them up that has been a time saver for me so in a way it kinda does save you time. Although mine is a Kv 601 with the Briggs engine like the one in this video and it uses a lot of fuel quickly so stopping to fill every often kinda kills the time saver thing
Nice video ! How many M2 (sqm) will this get done in 1 hour do you think? I am looking for one in Belgium.
Thanks for sharing very helpful
Quoted £650 extra to remove a stump perhaps 18 inches across after charging £1850.00 to take down a basic large evergreen. Knew I was being robbed & you've just confirmed that. Thank you.
Stop, the sinceless chatter and get to the point. How much time to cut , a acre, work involved cutting around flower pots in city cemeteries, and tomb stones . Discuss things like that. I see large cemeteries inside the city, that always have many, many , flower pots. I can't imagine the work and time, spent mowing them.
Is this weed killer safe for use around hedges etc?
Should you be using weed killers in cemeteries because the reason why I ask is it could potentially damage any DNA left in the grave that Police may need to get forensic evidence from in the future
WD 40 kills this weed.
My shoulders and arms get a workout with the HLA 135, that is for sure
Veramente bello peccato che non posso comprarla
I use the mixture of distilled vinegar, washing up liquid and salt on it coming through my block paving, it does EXACTLY the same. I know it sounds like an old wives ( mare 's😎 ) tail but I promise you it does work.
What this type of machine called mate?
Is everything okay, Scott? I hope you're well.
MCPA does the same and its cheap. Mix it with "Flex"Glyphosate for an all round very effective weedkiller. Do you ever use a pre emergence/residual herbicide on the graves?
Great to see Scott! I’m looking forward to seeing more of the Channel throughout the season! If you have any other mowers that end up going up for sale I would likely be interested to know!💪🏽 hope you are well!

I purchased one and well im pleasantly suprised.. i honestly cant complain battery lasts well enuf to cover all my large jobs and still havent went past 3 cells on the battery.i do wotk between this and the 448vc.. as using ap 500s batterys alsow.
What kind of mower do you use for cutting the pitches on public land? Do you need something specific?
Spade hooks great idea I just got a van already got a kit in the back ,was plumber van add in more hooks ,make sure stuff secure main goal
Thanks for the excellent review on the Eliet Shredder. Here in the USA they are not seen on jobs at all but I have seen them on display at nursery trade shows. Impressive machines. I just am still not convinced they will do the job with larger branches very well with just a small 14 hp. motor. Any chance that you could do a video on larger, dried out material?
I have to cut a number of fishing banks which are quite steep and uneven. Strimming it is a nightmare and takes forever. Do you think the CL62 would be suitable. Its a mix of long grass and brambles. Any idea where I could pick up one at a decent price - new or used.
Nice one Scott, where did you get the Etesia from? 😆 Happy Easter
Any new mower purchases this year mate? 👍
have a great extended weekend matey, good to get some dry weather for a change
Hi Scott Nice one Have a good weekend Thanks again
I’m so surprised how early my council started cutting the grass this year. They started as soon as 1st March came.
Hi Scott, I’m in dire need of a new long reach hedge trimmer, and while I’m far from a convert just yet, I’m tempted by a Stihl battery unit, the HLA85/86 with an AP300, as I can get a good price for one and know they’re popular with people like yourself. My only concern is if it has the grunt that you come to expect from a petrol unit. I have smaller units for the real rough work but it’s still good to have some decent power in the long reach? Thanks
Grillo leaves a great finish for what they are when it's long like that👌👍
How does this compare to a westerman brush Scott?
For me this is loads better. The Westerman head is bigger so if the area is uneven it will leave patches and it runs too fast which goes through heads faster and doesn’t clean as well. The heads are also very expensive compared to my machine. I know a few users who don’t like the weatherman they bought but most go to it as they are cheap initially.
@@scottellwoodgardening287 I was interested in buying a Western man and hired one for the day to try it out I had 3 jobs booked in for it I wasn't happy with the finish at any of the jobs and didn't invoice any of the clients for the work I took it back to the place I got it from and told them I wasn't happy they still charged me for it. So I was down a days work (plus my helpers wage) and the hire cost Your comments feed right into my experience.
Your diet lets you down. I’ll race you for a grand over 3 mile.
I've got 22 acres of grazing land Scott which I want to cut fairly low. Fairly flat but some minor slopes. I'm awaiting a demo on one of these. Any idea how economical they are. How much would it cost you to cut say a. 5 agree paddock or a football pitch? To date I have cut with a compact tractor with 1.8m flail mower using red diesel and to be honest it still leaves quite a mess (clumps of grass). How will this compare mate.
You can cut a normal football pitch in 10 minutes and at a petrol cost of around £3 so it’s very economical. It likes flat areas not so much up and down areas as it’s a big deck and does scalp.
Hi Scott, great video! Love the set up. What width of hooks are they for your hedge cutters? 150mm? 200mm?
Hi mate, thanks and those hooks are 200mm
@@scottellwoodgardening287 Thanks Scott 👍🏼
Hi Scott, question for you. In your vast experience and opinion, what is the best bagging, self propelled mower you have ever used, across the whole spectrum of British weather conditions? Thanks in advance.
Hi mate that would be the etesia pro 51. It cuts in any weathers.
@@scottellwoodgardening287 Thanks Scott.
Hi Scott, just come across your channel and this video. I've been day-dreaming about a Vector 4S with the tracks. You mention at the start that you were thinking of a Vector but it had a couple of things you didn't like. Would you mind saying what they were? I'm in N.Ireland and haven't been able to get a look at a Vector yet. Currently using a Bearcat Chipper/Shredder (2 separate chutes) and totally buy into the shredding on site system. Saves so much stress and effort. Bearcat is a toy compared to your machine! How do you find the size of the machine in the van, particularly if you're taking bags of material away? Have you found it to be a bit cumbersome and takes up a bit too much space? You're happy you still have plenty of space around it to bring stuff away? Congratulations on the new machine, enjoy it and I've subscribed to see more!
Thanks mate. The tracks sold it really as the vector I looked at was on wheels. It does take up a good bit of van space but it’s better than towing a chipper or trailer. Since I sorted the initial problem it’s been a great buy. Would definitely recommend this model.
Hi Scott, nice video. I'm just wondering if you used gravel board for the uprights? and can you remember what size your rails were? Thanks :)
Some areas we use gravel boards if it needs it not always. Rails were 12foot by 3 inches
Can it climb hills well?
It’s ok just a bit slow on banks
how many of those stumps did you take out in this contract? Looked to be about 5-7? Im trying to improve my own pricing accuracy, so for 7 stumps, mulch removal, top soil and seed install I would estimate this contract at $500-600. What was your pricing?
very essential tips, thanks :) give your contact
how do you feel after a long day after being on stand on versus a sit down? i am thinking abt converting to stand on
I’m rarely on it for 8 hours as I jump off and onto a strimmer but a full day when I have done it you feel it in your legs. You can get seats for them I believe.
Great to see you back Scott 💪🏻 great advice as always, glad you've mentioned these youtuber know it alls to
Thanks Ricky it’s a good platform but it needs to be watched carefully.
