Not enough air space or ullage hence the reason the pressure drops quickly. Look like great products. Recently purchased an I.K foamer which I use for wheels, I add a little shampoo to add to the cling.

I have a 3 litre marolex foamer and I use 1:9 snow foam (2 litres total) and it works great for 10 seconds then it's back to the pump and I pump it to the max (120-130 pumps). In conclusion it's not great but a good workout. The unit is very good quality just wish it worked longer. I will try and dilute further but not sure how that would make a difference?

if you fill it up with less solution it lasts long like its supposed to

Can you use the Marolex Acid for regular foam soap etc? Sounds like the Acid resistant version might be more versatile since it could do soap/wheel cleaner, or is the acid version foaming nozzles different than the soap foamer/blue one?

I just use the cheap supermarket pump sprayers £2 each. I was looking at foaming sprayers for the GT one wheel shampoo, and thought that the IK 1.5 foamer was pricey. Blimey the price of these in the UK made my eyes water !

First test of the foamer is basically how my Metso foamer works. I've found the less product in the bottle the longer the spray seems to last without pumping. Using Bilt Hamber right now which isn't thick at all but using AD Magnifoam was much thicker

So impressed with mine..so much so I bought a 9l pump sprayer with lance to get right down and into wheel arches without bending my geriatric spine.....
They are built like they'd survive anything bar a truck driving over them

Great review. Like you I Always find the foam sprayers loose pressure so fast they become frustrating. Loving the old school garage doubling up as an in door wash studio.

Just a quick one... you mentioned that you used the solution at 10:1 but used 20ml of product to 2L? Surely that would be 100:1 dilution? Just wondering what mix is best when my foamer arrives 👍🏻

I did the exact same thing as yourself as regards the wheel shampoo in a foaming trigger bottle (ik foam 2 in my case) and i used hdd brakethrough wheel shampoo and did same ratio as yourself 2ml into 2 litres of water and guess what got the same result as you.
You would think if 20 to 40ml of product is all thats needed in 20 litres of water, then seen as your putting it into only 2 litres of water obviously your going to put less in and expect good results as regards foam, obviously in this case we we're both wrong lol.
So after playing about with ratios i found that to get the desired foam you need to use the same amount as you would in a bucket 20 to 50ml so you obviously get a stronger wheel cleaner but if you make a 2 litre mix up, i can do my wheels 4x over probably more with that one 2 litre mix so still makes it more economical than using it in a bucket, as obviously you just poor that down the drain when your done.

I use something similar for my garage therapy wheel cleaner. I use around 15 top 20ml in the bottle. Always best not to completely fill up the bottle with water to leave more space for air. I can usually get around 3 or 4 cars with that one mix
