    It works great with a compressor. I put a Shrader valve on it and I use a battery-powered air pump with a 9 foot coiled plastic hose attached. I just keep the tire pump running. My little pump can only maintain around 30PSI if I continously spray, but it's fine. I have a bigger 18V Milwaukee pump that I'll try next time. It should be able to maintain the maximum pressure of 5
    I think 58 PSI, but I'll set it to 50 and see what happens. I just hold the little pump in my left hand, and use the sprayer with my right hand.

    I have both and love them both but the marolex is better built and shoots out longer when fully pumped but thanks for explaining the difference between the tips cuz I never bothered to do the tests and couldn't figure out why sometimes it wasn't shooting out like the guys I've seen online😂😂 now after watching your video I feel dumb but it's working great so thanks 👍🏾

    i think the low intensity foam would be suitable for interior leather, fabric cleaning etc where you just need foam. Great demonstration of the product!!!!!!! cheers

    Marolex is definitely on par with IK or in some ways may even be better. The thickness of the plastics used and the durable high quality construction is why these sprayers are some of the very best made in the industry. I rank my top four picks for spray bottles as 1) Kwazar, 2) Marolex, 3) IK, and 4). Pressol, not in any particular order. I like all four of them in different applications. For interior product spray bottles, I love the size and quality of the Pressol bottles and the fact that Matt Moreman has those incredible labels specifically designed for his bottles. I've been using all kinds of Kwazar bottles of various sizes for many years picking them up directly in Germany many years ago. I like the new IK's a lot too since they upgraded them recently and made them more ergonomic. I do think for the hand "pump up" style you show here, Marolex is one of the best. Especially with a Shrader valve mod you speak of. Those bottles should last a very long time with proper routine maintenance. A big thing with ANY sprayer is just keeping it clean. Even the cheaper brands will last a long time with routine cleaning. Just keep that bad boy rinsed out after every use and try not to store any chemicals in the sprayer itself and any of the top brand sprayers should last you quite a long time. Most sprayers fail from not keeping them clean, leaving chemicals inside them, failing to rinse these chemical residue's from the guts of the unit, which of course leads to premature break down of the interior plastic workings of the sprayer head. I've lost so many sprayer heads over the years from simply not cleaning the sprayer heads out when I should have. Literally, I could not even remotely imagine how many over the 40+ years that I have been actively detailing. Marolex has an entire line of high quality, durable construction sprayers for just about every application in vehicle detailing.

      Thank you for the real world input Joe! I love this and all my Marolex sprayers so far. I just picked up a bunch of the Ik spray bottles with the updated triggers so I’ll slowly be switching everything over to those. I really like the way the Pressol bottles look on the shelf but for me it came down to convenience of getting the Ik bottles quickly from Carzilla. Your note about keeping every clean is definitely key when it comes to longevity of any sprayer. I would go through those grey tolco sprayers atleast once a month with Meguiars wheel brightener. I appreciate the comment

    Marolex pump sprayers really are the best out there. Their run times and build quality seem a lot better than the IK ones.

    Would definitely like to see a comparison between the two.
    I have the ik foam 2 (for which you can buy rebuild kits) and it is perfect for wheels. A chore for the whole car, but still fit for purpose.
    Cheers for the demo!

    I had high hopes for this product as a reason not to go through the troubles of a pressure washer, but it just doesn't look sound at all, just cheap. Anything that is just plastic and you have to pump up the pressure, it's not going to perform well and will deteriorate quickly over time.

    Would love to see you test them both. I have the ikfoam pro 2 and think I need to get some new gaskets as when I pump it up, foam is coming out the top.

    I dont know what's wrong w mine. I only used it once. Did a 256:1 plus 1/2 once of apc, and it's giving me a 'rapid fire' spray on all tips. Even water. What do you think it is?? I can't find the instructions damn

    Do you think 3:1 dillution for Adam's wheel and tire cleaner is unnecessary for vehicles that are maintenance washed every week? I heard you say 4:1

    • @TheCarDetailingChannel
      @TheCarDetailingChannel  3 месяца назад

      Hey Chris! I’d say, if you’re cleaning your wheels every two weeks or more frequently , don’t go stronger than a 1:4 dilution. Anything stronger than that will definitely be overkill for sure

      Yeah the winter wheels on this Acura are corroded pretty bad and are leaking around the bead. I used bead sealer on them for him last year but this one still slowly loses air

    Am I the only one who purchased this foam sprayer and can't get foam action like I see in video's? I have tried each nozzle and several different products and dilution radios and still not working as advertised. What a shame.
