I'm guessing the kettle is Revereware, my mom had Revereware stainless pots and pans and the bottoms were all copper and said Revere in cursive.
I still have Revere Ware.
The tea pot is worthy about $55 nice little find - and definite YES on the 1800s dresser - she’s a beauty 😊❤ thanks for taking us along!
I loved that French Provincial set! Was hoping you were going to get it.
Your shop will be open at Christmas...you need to pic up nick knack with Christmas vibes NOW.
If you get the opportunity to buy another burl wood bedroom set, Asian or not, just clean it up and put it on your showroom floor. It was breathtaking the day you brought it home!❤
Awesome haul! The swan is my favorite. But don't you hate it when you just wish you can pause the video and jump in and buy something. I saw plenty of things that I would love!
Those wild couches match perfectly with the comforter I had on my waterbed back in the early 90's 😂😂
I liked that stone planter in the first store. It looked high-end. You have a lot of patience looking at junk all day and finding the treasures.
You should have a furniture drop off at your new store so you don’t have to waste time looking for furniture.
I believe the copper tray is a trivet for hot dishes to sit on.
The first dresser you picked up with the design down the front is amazing ❤
The dresser is great!! looking forward to the transformation. Love the copper kettle! What a great idea having a colored glass shelve it is going to look so good!
Go back and get that small antique dresser!! I have one almost just like it that I’m working on. Pretty good haul Lauren! 🥰🥰🥰
When shopping for colored glass, if the bottom is clear, then the color is "painted" on. If it's the same color as the body, it's most likely colored all the way through. And if you find any with a rough nub on the bottom, that is hand-blown glass, not a mass-produced piece. I love that turquoise little glass bottle you got. That Paul Revere copper kettle goes anywhere from $18 - $27.
Zeb and Jamie at Jamie Ray Vintage are masters at thrift store resell. They have a store, too (in Utah). Watching their videos helped me have a better eye towards what could be high-end and what sells. It might be worth your while to check them out.
Yes and they’ve been doing it a long time
True, but those Mormon moms buy certain things. Everywhere has a different demographic of customers.
The multi-colored couches from the 80's hurt my eyes. Even in the 80's and early 90's!!!😮😢😂
I think you should have purchased that antique dresser, you could have just sanded it and restained. You will need at least 2-3 stunning pieces at the front to draw people into your store.
Get the dresser
The glass swan would look nice in a bathroom with bars of soap in it.
Those couches are definitely mid-80s. Yikes! I needed sunglasses to look at those things! The antique dresser with those drawer joints - nice!
The Paul Revere teapot looks solid and useable!!
Please go back and buy those lamps for me! The first set
Good Thrift Store hall shopping adventure!
Well done!
The kettle was made by revere ware. my mother had the whole set.
Love the blue sparkle vase. So pretty. The blue and white pitchers would be so pretty for flowers. Liked the corner details on tall boy you passed on...would be so nice painted.
I look forward to seeing the dresser when you finish it I really thought it was so different, I would have loved it at my home.,I am so happy for you both.
I’m very inspired by your rainbow inspired glass collection!❤
I am sooo excited to see the gorgeousness that is going to be your storeroom when you open. You have the funnest job ever !!!!
You have a whole store to fill up so you better get busy buying more stuff! 😅 Great finds! Plus, it’s going to be Fall decor time when you open up, so don’t forget to decorate a little for Fall!🧡🤎💛 God bless!🙏🏼🕊️💙
get that dresser!!
6:13 How sweet! A little drum major! I painted one of those when I was 14 and became my high school band's drum major. Mine was in purple and gold though. 😊 I thought I was rocking it!
Paul Revere is a brand of metalware. Their copper bottom stainless steel pots are sought after. The other copper piece is a trivet.
trivets for setting hot pots on and such right?
One thing u could try is do like Jami Ray Vintage & paint over some items. You probably have little bits of paint left of every type & color you could use up. Maybe just start with a few things like wood clocks freshened up or animal statues/baskets/ etc... Real pottery is in. Lone Fox channel buys some great pottery but it's pricey. Also Coastal Grandmillennial & Modern farmhouse are very on trend right now. Can't wait!
Yes! Get the small chest of drawer. I think the teapot is a good skip.
The swan is most likely a candy dish. The Paul Revere tea pot might be a pieces of Revere Ware - cookware with copper bottoms. At one time, they were very popular...
I'm so excited for you! Will your shop also be a consignment shop? (for furniture, lamps, etc...) ?
I’d have got the antique dresser for $80 still a mark up for that piece
I would have grabbed that bag of fake granny smith apples- great for staging and displays. I also find all kinds of unburned candles for super cheap (never burn candles in my home unless there is a power failure) and hand- carved wood candle holders
Neiman always chooses the most enjoyable and relaxing music to go with your videos! I’m so excited about the new store. I live in Ohio and you are too far away for my travel budget to stretch or I would be there for the grand opening. I am now living precariously through your videos!
Paul Revere is definitely copper. They are the original copper bottom pot make.
I love your content but the music in this video was not good. Just some feedback. Love your channel.
Omg Lauren you made me soil my water with your Paul Revere comment. ❤️❤️❤️
Not sure what your store plans are. However, there is a store here that does furniture consignment. They don’t do booth rental. It’s been very successful for years. I think that would bring more shoppers in to your store as well.
I received a 3 pc French Provincial bedroom set for free. What color is selling best?
You're passing a lot of good stuff that's really hot items right now. Try getting out of your head (likes) while shopping and into what of others may like.
OMG you passed up the best find that greed daisy casserole dish sells for 140 on eBay😮
I absolutely hate when they put the stickers over the brand and information on the bottom!
If you plan to have a ‘kids room ‘ while the parents look around the shop - you could pick up kids toys , a backboard and similar items to keep the kids occupied ?!?
Maybe some couches to sit on too ???
Love the idea, would be a great addition! I was also thinking they could do a corner dedicated to garden items & patio furniture 🪴
Saw some Copper Paul Revere tea pots on Etsy that looked like yours for 40 to 85 dollars
Hey Lauren can’t wait to see your haul!!
Brass and copper are not magnetic so you could keep a small magnet on you when you go shopping.
Come back and get that chest of drawers for 80.00 dollars.
It’s to bad you don’t live closer to me ! I have some for you to flip !
Are you finding sales any slower now with the economy?
Always enjoy going thrifting with you 🎉🎉🎉🎉
You skipped that small pretty purple fluted vase...it was yummy, although my passion is blue. :)
I noticed it too.
ohh no! I must’ve missed it!
That stone planter was definitely a good find.
Do you ask for permission to film when you go in?
Not Tallboys
Chest of Drawers
Thanks for sharing Lauren !
Revere ware made in my home town. Great find.
paul reverer copper pot ca be pricey 50 $ to 78$
I think the copper is a hot plate for a teapot or coffee pot
Goodwill is not a charity shop.
That dresser reminded me of 1950-60's, Roy Rogers timeline. Not 1800's.
The Goodwills in Millard on 180th and Q and on 144th St are great for furniture. Reasonable.
Hello, price pleace.., price..merci beaucoup
Revearware is nice...my Mom had some...good brand!
Paul Revere was a big deal.
You made a wise choice in rejecting the purple vase. Did you notice the base of the vase was clear? That indicates it's not purple glass, but a clear vase that was made to look like purple glass.
Have you considered getting some of your home decor/merchandise from a wholesaler/merchandise mart? If you wanted to focus on flipping furniture and setting up your storefront, it could save you some time hunting for accessories.
YES! I haven’t been able to find one but I do want to! do you have any recommendations?
A local store in my area uses the merchandise mart in Chicago
That copper pot worth $50+. Good find.
1801 copper pot, unfortunately there are so many on the market & around that they sell on Ebay for $15-$25, some unlike hers have etched in signature & different patinas worth more :) Super cute & great find though. Worth the $6!
Yes to the 1800s dresser!
when I am thrifting, I use google lens to see what the pricing would be . It's very helpful even though what I purchase is clothing for the purpose of adding football team embellishments to the items.
Display the colored glass on the wall behind check out area?? I think that would be neat.
Get the old dresser!
Such a nice way to film this segment.very well done
Great video!
love the background music.
Daughter needs a dresser...we'll make the drive to see you!
❤
❤❤❤
❤
Enjoyed ❤
Definitely get the dresser. I don't remember you doing one like this before.
the swan would make a cute DIY candle
omg girl! you guessed it! and only people who read this comment will know 😊
@@FurnitureFlippingTeacher dangerous to put a candle in non-tempered glass! Be careful
Yes on the dresser from the 1800s!
Will you do the colored glass wall in the building? 🎉
Hi! Where is the Goodwill Training Center? The first one you went to. Thanks, love your videos.
36th & L ish in Omaha...newest one that I know of besides the one coming in Elkhorn
Oh get the antique drawers!
Put copper kettle on copper trivet
The kettle could be put on the trivet.
Stanley good brand👍
Is all the furniture from the storage units comming to the store??
yep
The flat metal piece is a trivet.
Yes. Get the old dresser
❤ the fabric choice
i sent you two a question and did not get an answer. what is the plastic that has tape on it that you use not to get paint on anything.
They sell that at home improvement stores in the paint department. Comes in a round plastic dispenser.
I think it’s a 3M or Duct Tape product that they sell at most home improvement stores somewhere around the paint section. They get a lot of comments, they probably don’t have time to read them, let alone reply
Aren't you having mostly furniture flipping at the store?
She may be looking for items to dress up/stage the different pieces💕
@@robine916 I think you are absolutely right! Staging will add the right touch.💖
@@vshewett4333 💖
She actually said they would be selling other things. Not in this video, but her original announcement video.
@@tamikocastro4343 🥰
The Paul Revere copper tea kettle is actually vintage copper Revere Ware. It's a nice collector piece. I enjoy thrifting and have found some amazing things through the years. It's fun and very rewarding, in more ways than one. :)
