Enraptured is inappropriately high. It needs a book test and gives 1 charge. This was rated higher than recurring an entire spell or occult theory which will easily give you +4 when a test must be passed
I just realised the text on Seal of the Elder Sign doesn't make sense. "Do not reveal a token. Treat the token you reveal as an elder sign" What token? You just told me not to reveal one!
Wait I just realized. Does Seal of the elder sign actually work? Probably already been discussed but If you do not reveal any chaos token, how do you treat the chaos token revealed as an elder Sign? You didn't reveal any ! Am I missing something? It should let you draw a token and say like " treat the token revealed as if it was the elder sign, ignore any effect and modifier of the original token" Nah?? I love this short videos you can tell you have fun just chatting
I don't know if it's just me but I just find all of the level 0 Mystic Skill cards to be underwhelming or unusable (except Promise of Power of course). Like Enraptured for example is not too OP because it's only +1 charge, but it's only usable for book tests, they should have added a will icon there. Fearless level 0 should have at least 2 will pips or at least add another effect like draw 1 card. Lastly Prescient would benefit a lot of the mystics if the guessing game was replaced to "return a level 0 spell instead", they can remove that 1 will pip icon or add a take 1 horror if they find that effect too OP.
I would personally argue Torrent of Power is the worst. As a Mystic, your charges are your lifeblood. Spending them just to get icons is obscenely wasteful imo. Especially when you can get wild icons so much easier with other cards.
In the deck where you're playing Torrent of Power, you have charges in excess. Also the Edge of the Earth spells give charges like candy and are now incredibly refillable. Early on in Arkham's life, I'd agree that charges were a premium, but now charges are pretty easy to come by. The trap of Torrent of Power is assuming you need to spend 3 charges, just spend 1.
@@PlayingBoardGames I don't think it's unplayable or anything, I just don't see why I would ever prefer to use this over a charge of any asset that I'm taking the time to play. I would rather keep the charge and play Unexpected Courage instead. Every other skill I can see a use for, but I wouldn't ever use Torrent of Power personally.
