Your spot sweater is awesome! Congrats to all the winners. Bummed I wasn’t one lol. I agree with your kindergartener; the pink with speckles is the best! 😍
Hi Karen - I remembered that you are located in Chicago. I hope you and everyone you know are safe. Praying for peace to become the normal rather than these shootings. Take care everyone and hope you are all safe and well. Kris K from Connecticut ❤ 🙏
I loved seeing your home dyed yarns. Last October I collected black walnuts to dye with the hulls. WELL...that finally happened last month. I only dyed one skein and I have So Much liquid hull juice left! Wish you were close (I'm in SE Tennessee) and I'd give it to you. The color is beautiful and I've already knit up some socks with it.
congratulations to the KAL winners! It looks like you had a lot of fun dyeing yarn. 🙂 I'm trying my hand at natural solar dyeing right now. I've had 3 jars of yarn sitting on a small table in my backyard for 6 days. lol. 😁
Hi Karen, I wanted to tell you about Kerry and her podcast called Sego Fibers. In episode 7 she talks a little about her dying practice that could really help you with yours, and a book by Felicia Lo that sounds really interesting.
When I’m decreasing arm stitches I usually do the end of the round decrease the row before the beginning of the round decrease - this means that they are only a few stitches apart and I don’t forget!
Congratulations to the winners and to you Karen! For discovering a new talent XX
Thanks for running that knitalong it was really fun!!

Wow! You have some serious yarn dyeing talent. So beautiful!
Thank you! I am still learning so it's nice when one of them turns out well. Thanks for watching.

I can relate to forgetting the decrease at the end of a round when doing sleeves🤪
Oh your dyed yarns are so lovely! I have to say, I LOVE that bright blue - it's perfect. if you decide you don't like it, let me know. 🙂
Thank you! I have had so much fun seeing what happens.
Congrats
I would buy that ocean color!!! 😍 makes me want to get out my bare yarn and acid dyes and play...too chicken up to now!
You should try it! I have had lots of duds too, but it's fun when one turns out well.
