I made this for my first time going to the Texas Renaissance Festival! Tell me about the best Ren Faire in your area BECAUSE NOW I'M HOOKED!!!
Have you looked into the SCA? I've never actually been to a "real" Ren Faire, but I used to be very active in my local branch of the SCA- and there was an event within 200 miles probably every other week or so.
The New York one is awesome! It runs all summer on a permanent site upstate, super fun.
The belts with the elastic is so smart! And it looks so cool. I'm definitely going to keep that in mind for future Middle Earth-inspired/Silmarillion designs sometime :D Thrift stores are my favorite place to find cosplay stuff!
Shout out to the notifications squad! Have been waiting for a video!!!
Game of thrones for the win!!! I'm working on an Arya stark cosplay right now
awesome i actually have a half made Jon snow costume, and this was one of the walls i hit!
This perfect for me, I am planning to doing a viking outfit for the upcoming conclusion to the fate stay night heaven's feel movie trilogy, can't wait
So cool
oh my god?????? those clips???? it's so simple and it's brilliant. i wish i'd thought of it earlier, would have saved me losing my pins on my floor and stepping on them!!!
okay but i legit needed a tutorial like this so bad rn (zonbi always comin in clutch) ive sorted all of my current cosplay out, but the cloak! i had no idea what to do (and i was heccin worried about money, but using old curtains? who woulda thought) and youve gone and saved my life gosh dang it
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the Texas Ren Fest! I grew up going there and it's about the only thing I miss about Texas. Colorado's ren fair doesn't quite stack up against it, even with majestic mountains.
Yes! Just in time, I am planning on making a cloak! You Go Zonbi!!!!
"I always accidentally stab myself with pins."
*Me too*
Thank you!!! This will be perfect for my lady Loki cosplay 🥰🥰
This is great Zonbi! It's so cool that you made this so quickly! I'm glad you had fun at your Ren Faire; I need to go to those more!
I love the new edits
Going to start a Galan armour suit from Seven Deadly sins soon! Super Duper excited!
im thinking about making a cosplay of my D&D character and this tutorial has helped me so much now I just need the hood and im done:)
Thank you for the tutorial. Totally given me another idea for decorating my 40K Space Wolf. And more robo-kitty voice cameos please :)
Wow looks so cool! And only a day?! Damn Grace!
I'm actually going to the Renaissance festival this weekend haha so this is super helpful!! :)
VERY nice job weathering, always see brand new clothes at ren fairs, and it never looks right.
Quick idea: sew the leather straps into the fur while it's inside out. A "handy stitch" sewing awl is great for this kind of work.
this is indeed useful inspiration for my att the moment at my fantasy month on my channal
Love it!
you look like a beautiful Melisandre with that hair color :) love it!
Hey Zonbi ! Awesome video as always, I saw that you cuted your faux fur with cisors, if you want less fuzzy mess you should cut faux fur with cutter or just pass the blade of the cisor between the faux fur and the fabric on the back, it will be easier for you ! (sorry if you don't really understand me xD)
I'm going to the TRF this weekend! probably the 12th or 13th time I'm going to be there
awesome tutorial zonbi, thank you so much!
(where do you get your patterned button ups??? they're always so cute!)
Not gonna lie - when you tried on the fur collar, I thought I saw a fox tail in the back. Nope - red hair. 😂
Very cool and very good inspiration! Just what kind of faux fur is that?
Killer one day project, i think you cat want to cosplay with you🐱
nice and easy. but hotglue?
Hey Zonbi, is it possible to do it similar to that of Meta Knight’s Cape, or add a giant hood to it, or something?
Wait we have a renn fair? I just moved to TX lol
Awesome would you do a hobbit character cosplay
Interesting tutorial but glue... Hate gluing parts.. Any material... Sometimes they fall apart
........ Doth mother know you wear at her drapes? 😁 also my kids made me rewind Solaires bit about a million times ;)
Hello excuse meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Fan of ur cat
This looks a lot like my oc Zeldas cloak. She doesn’t have fur on hers and hers cuts off at the waist
I'm the author of a young adult fantasy adventure novel and plan to cosplay my characters :)
Fire is dangerous? you mean fun
Ugh. Why didn't I watch this before attempting to make a cloak :( so much time and material wasted :'(
your volume is too low
Sure is! It’s an old video.
Anyone else thinking a Game of Thrones/hufflepuff
My Hufflepuff DNA makes its way into this cosplay somehow!
Doesn't everyone have faux fur lying around ?
