consider cgc for vintage. I do everything PSA but cgc is much more lenient on vintage holos, to the point where it makes up the value difference. For example, I sent my psa 9 base set charizard to cgc and it got a gem mint 10 and it sold for 2500, vs the 1000 i could have gotten from the psa 9.
Getting a shipping company to pay out insurance is rough everytime they have lost or destroyed my packages they just say oops sorry and kinda say it’s not insurable for some reason
Definitely seems like a very tough grader. Though the shadowless zard looks like the bottom left corner has some damage, could have just been lighting but it looks like right at 8:00 that there is a small crease there, it also looked possibly bent/warped on the front left corner as well right under the illustrator.
That’s what I’m thinking, people just expect grading to be guaranteed 9s and 10s but don’t put the effort into pregrading. Also the vintage cards definitely deserved the grades they received.
Whenever I see videos like this people also seem to have no idea what indents/creases are because the vintage cards that got 6s and lower I can almost guarantee had one of those issues
I would never pay for somebody to grade my cards without a full, detailed report. Or at least do like beckett and show the categories

Yep… lesson learned! Always send my cards in a ziplock bag also to avoid water damage in the future
That’s rough man. Keep up the uploads though solid vid.
Thanks! Will do!
Looks like this submission got graded in NJ lol. They are so much tougher on grades than the CA office
Yeah this one stung just a little
Unlucky visa vis the water damage. I hope you put together another submission and get your 10’. Please post it!
When you look at the psa tracking, did the package originate from NJ or CA?

Definitely not a perfect zard, but pretty clean overall.

Worse or worst?
Both! Worse than my last one and worst submission ever 😂

L USPS 👎
Agreed
I just got back a manga zoro from one piece that came back as a 7 when it was in perfect condition.
Yikes! I wish I got a report on why they graded like they did
Can you blame psa if literally every card got lower than you thought? Or is it possibly you?
