I have a buddy who does similiar, he has a small paid off home he got in the 80s still has a 6 figure job and saves like 4k a month to the side to blow out 48-50k worth of cards at one show a year (usually just one card though he loves cards worth 50k. He's not stupid rich but just in the actual upper middle class

Why does that matter?
She's a kid dummy. Kids can be shy and easily tired. You never know what's going on. Just keep trading up for them to hook them up.
Some kids are really shy she probably loved the Pikachu v🤗

I sold a nm perfect centering charizard gx promo a few months ago for 20. I intended to grade it but ended up going for the quick cash. So much regret, the guy I sold it to said he got a psa 10. Worse is that it was one of the cards I got as a kid :(, fortunately i still have the other very creased one :).
