Video is cool. Straight to the point. I hate the bullshit other videos take you through. You get straight to the point!! So you got my vote. Thank you, From Brooklyn NY.
@@laptopturbo I don’t see it hurting anything really it just ensures that spring don’t push through the filter hole. I’d definitely put it back in sometime in the future. Perhaps next oil change.
Okay so I was looking at your video which is comprehensive it's a good video, if I may? When it comes to the engine oil level there are markings next to the sight glass. You stated in your video that the oil should be covering sight glass or full as you say but in truth the markings next to the sight glass will leave a small Gap at the top of the sight glass because too much oil wash your rings out look it up otherwise good video peace.
I accidentally poured too much you didn’t mention standing the bike up until after I poured it in until it filled up and then when I stood it up it was filled I hope I didn’t put too much
I change my oil as per season, for example, in the summertime I will change my oil like 2 times. Excessive? It depends on the owner, your bike only takes things like 1.9 quarts oils cheap enough. So I do two times in the summer two times in the winter that keeps my oil looking clean, Castro's a good oil but I recommend the best mobile one racing 4 4-stroke motorcycles. Then you can contact Mobil 1 online they will send you a test tube upon your request you will take an oil sample and send it to them they will send you back a graph report worded and graft I should say of how your engine is running is it burning oil it's quite amazing the different things they give you as far as test results mobile one 2 times each season your bike will always run at Peak
Oh yeah air filter just put a K&N in there and every time you change the oil use your K&N oil filter cleaning kit and you'll be golden one filter for the rest of the bikes life excellent performance
This may be a stupid question but can you tell me how high your bike is off the ground? Like from the plastics to the ground, maybe even send me a photo of where your forks are positioned? My Ninja 250R is extremely low, like I scrape going over bumps lmao. My ig is Joseph.mcneal97 with the bike in the photo
Yikes, some thing wrong with this video but you should def use gloves. Used oil is carcinogenic, probably will never be exposed to enough for it to matter but why risk it for such low effort
5:58 "you're gonna want to tighten it down, but not retard tight"
11/10 got a chuckle out of me.

The K&N 401 filter comes with the proper o-rings enclosed in the box
Well you just lost your filter washer that goes on after the spring before the filter. It always sticks to the bottom of the old filter.
Jacob Hendrickson how bad is that for the engine?
Oh good eye bro, way to catch that one I agree give that man a beer peace
Was looking for this comment since this is my first oil change on the bike, was so confused where this washer goes lol thank you 4 years late

@@jacobhendrickson8935 it seems that without this washer there is no filtration at all

6:00 😂😂💀
Very helpful, thank you!
were did u buy your oil bro
I accidentally poured too much you didn’t mention standing the bike up until after I poured it in until it filled up and then when I stood it up it was filled I hope I didn’t put too much
great video champ, nice color bike
So it takes about 1.8 liters... what happens if u put in the two full quarts?
Juan Lopez nothing bro
Just remember if you under oil something it will spit out sparks, but if you over oil something it will just spit out oil
Too much oil gets all in your air filter and shit. The proper amount is worth taking a couple of extra minutes to get it done right.
My filter didnt come with new 0 rings, not sure if i got a faulty one or you have to ask for them separately
well explained so far...
tanks bro
Do the o rings come with the filter or did you buy them separately
Wht kind of oil did u put
Thank you
how many miles do you need to change oil and change the air filter?

How often u changed the oil
I think u should change it before every winter break...
The bike should be upright. Not lent over
Still have to change the oil if you don't have a stand.
Lil too much oil bud

Please see the difference in a quart and a liter. If it was my bike you wouldn't put a Fram filter in it. Unacceptable
