Thanks! I didn’t know these existed, so I’m glad you’ve shown it to me. I love to take notes including little sketches to illustrate things. Occasionally, I’ll do a full page, in the margin illustration. This Bible seems perfect for that. It also seems like a workbook……just crying out for extensive note taking! I love the layout really appeals to me (ie verse by verse, font size, headers, and the box drawn around the Scripture). Yeah, I’m probably gonna get one. And while I read mostly read the NAS, I memorize the KJV. Being poetic it’s easier. Plus, like you said, it’s just beautiful!!! Again, thanks Tracie ❤

I purchased the whole set of the KJV for myself for christmas. I absolutely love them.. Font is a good size and easy to read. lots of room for notetaking... it is pricey but well worth it.
A pastor once told me the KJV was basically college-level reading and the translations go down from there until you hit the Living Bible which is about a 3-4 grade level writing. Now this was 40 years ago, and I don’t know if reading levels have degraded since then.
I really like this. I want to get it but the only thing holding me back I would want it atleast one for new testament and one for Old Testament instead of 5 for the old testament
I don't do art. I'm an avid note taker with a color code system, so I use Mr. Pen products (primarily) to highlight with, and Pigma Micron pens for notes and underlining. I have found that most Bibles will have show through when I use the darker colored inks, but this Bible set looks as though the paper will hold up well to the tools I use. I own soooo many Bibles and write in each of them, so I 'm looking forward to trying this out. I will probably start with the Pentateuch because I have really been getting into lineages lately. Those are quite lengthy and complicated so this will be a good trial! Thank you for your review.
I purchased the KJV, in Matthew they refer to the prophet Jeremiah as "Jeremy"! I know it may seem small, but it threw me off. If they make a red letter edition, I hope they correct that issue.
I talked to them about this issue and other issues and they told me that there are many KJV versions and the copy one of them and this is supposibly how that version has it
I was so excited bout this, but there are so many typos NONE of the pronouns in the KJV are capitalized. There are missing quotation marks when things are being spoken or quoted, there are added things that are not in any other version - When I contacted them they told me I could return it but I need to pay for the return shipping. That I also find very disappointing. for $149 I would expect that it is correctly typed.. I love the idea and wish it was correct. I also am disappointed they are requiring me to pay for return shipping on a faulty product. also the KJV is not totally traditional KJV it is a little mix of NKJV. I am rather surprised that with as many times as you have read the Bible, that you didnt catch this. If one is studying the Bible, the way it is written is very important.
I wonder how much shipping from an individual out of the country would be... I've never tried to do that, but if it's not horrible, it might be a way to work around shipping issues.

That old Testament as one complete book should be so heavy, and for me, due to thickness, it would be difficult to comfortably journal in.
