I have two. I study out of both. I have a habit of writing and highlighting all over my Bible so I run out of room. I have two daughters whom have already picked which one they want when the time comes.
Things I like about this bible that will cause me to buy one is the font size, and that each verse is separate from the next one instead of running together, and of course the note taking space. Things I wish they would improve is maybe like a plastic coating down the edge with holes to make it harder to rip. I have 3 I mainly use right now one is KJVER. ER stands for easy reader and this removes no verses or words it only changes the “thee’s”, “thou’s” and so on to there modern day proper tense of the word and best part words of God in OT are in red just as Jesus is in NT.

Do you get to choose the design or do they randomly send you whatever design?

I keep a separate journal for notes and reminders without writing on my Bible. Revelation 22:18
Keeping a separate journal is cool. I like to have the notes handy in the Bible I'm using to study.
I took that to mean change by adding or taking away. Something for me to think about.

I can see what you mean about making the paper harder to rip. Maybe that can be improved over time!
