My question to you the collectors out there is how do you know if you've got a 1982 D small date penny. I've got one in pretty rough condition but I actually think it might be the small date error penny.
When I was 8 years old I found a 1943 copper penny in my grandma's coin stash me being 8 at the time not knowing the price of it lost it somewhere but my grandpa has been stashing coins in 5 gallon tubs for his entire life and has about 10 tubs full of them then every wheat/old penny he finds he puts It in is fancy box of coins and when he dies the coins go to my mother also do you know anything about dollars/bill notes from 1800s
If i have a dime that looks like it is hapf penny. I believe this due to the smooth edge shows both silver and copper. How do i research the value or rarity.
