Love watching your videos. My daughter recently went to her bank and got me 20 customer wrapped penny rolls. 9 of the rolls were 90% Wheat pennies. Took me 4 days to go through those rolls. Best find 1909 VDB. I doubt if I will ever be this lucky again.
You keep up the hunt. I’ve assembled a 1909-2009 complete wheat, and I have to tell you I simply can’t get excited about collecting coins with micro die chips etc. If I have the choice between upgrading a 24d or 31s and some die crack coin, I’m going for the former. I appreciate and share your enthusiasm for Lincoln cents, but I draw the line. Best Regards
You are the very first person I ever seen posting information on utube. So I have You to thank for getting me. In coin collecting. I have yet to sell any of my collection.
I know you use your iPhone or your older iPhone which works great. The shots are always great, your voice comes through clearly. I'd like to know what lighting you use
I found a 1943D copper in a bank roll. I took it to a grader, and found out it was a casting, not a planchet... but worth having a 2 million dollar penny looked at.
For someone that is just starting, this is so overwhelming. I was thinking of starting with separation of coins, then going through them by Year, but the amount of years to go through and differences,, Wow.. this is just Pennies... Thanks for posting. Haven't caught a live yet, but looking forward to one. I also might have a few photos to share with you, as I have questions on them, like differences between Die cracks vs Damage. Is there a Discord server by chance?
I went through 10 rolls today (all Wells Fargo would give me, cause "change shortage"). Results: - only 1 wheat penny, 1954-D - 1982-D 2.5g (zinc) small date - a couple 1969-S with machine doubling, one on "UST" in "TRUST", the other on the date + mm - 2 US dimes -- hey, can't complain about getting dimes for the price of a penny! :)
I have a couple 5 gallon jugs full of coins I have been saving for about the last thirty years to the present . I need to rewatch this and take some notes , thank you !
From nw california. Thanks for being so decsriptive. Because last night I found 2 brand new 1959 d penny's & 1 brand new 1959 penny in one roll from the bank. Thx bro. Keep up the good work...!
Been watching few months . Me n my dad were numismatic nuts in 60's n 70's.Getting back into it n have found some that may bring money.Gotta get the background info in my head again. Thanks from West Texas
How do you know what to look for in each year of pennies?? It seems each year has specific items to look for. Is there a list of yearly errors to look for on all of the pennies and such to help identify and educate? Thank you so much.
i use Ask Google on my android smartphone and i just say errors on a 1992 Lincoln penny and it will come back with a bunch of different links like a coin Wikipedia history of that year of that but it also depends on which link u end up choosing usually the first couple links r the better ones to check out and will give u the most accurate info for the coin and year and will list the different varieties the rarities and pretty much all of the history u would need that has been one of the best tools along with this guys' videos and a couple other RUclips guys' video channels Couch Collectables or Blue Ridge Silver hound have alot of good info as well hope this helps u with ur for coin searching?!! :)
Back in the day I was obsessed looking for the 1983 dbl die reverse. I kept all 1983 Lincoln cents. After a while I ended up with a shoe box full of 1983 cents. At that time I didn't know about weighing them. When I moved I rolled them up and sent them back to the bank. :(
That 2017 penny was one of a few in that mint state it's a 2017 P cent didn't mention it to your followers! That's a valuable cent and very well sought after by many collectors
I love coin roll hunting specially pennies. I have a good time every time I do it. I like getting the Linkins to 82 small dates lately. It seems like somebody just dumped some 1960s they look brand new so 80 eights the brand new and some 84s that were like new. It’s a blast. Thanks Eric I watched you since I’m out of pennies right now.
I wish I could bring all my questionable items right to you and have you help me learn more about all this. I've learned a ton of great info from you. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge. I've got a PILE of error coins from my jug and a few bills just waiting for me to start putting them on the market. Not sure how to do it correctly as I'm understanding it is costly to jave them graded
Surely you can find someone to go over some of them on a face time call or make a video / videos to send them for a reasonable fee is worth your time driving around with everything and sending in coins that don’t need grading which can get costly.
@@caseG80 I haven't found anyone knowledgeable enough yet. When you are a new seller on ebay, most people don't want to buy from you. I haven't figured out all that stuff with eBay, Poshmark, whatnot. I do know how to use marketplace....
Alabama It's just my opinion but,I say The Coin Channel is the best. The most informative, It is current, up to date, and most importantly, your Channel is not boring.I truly have learned so much.I enjoy each video. Please keep up the great work prpppoo
Dude, I'm in AZ now, but grew up in Waldorf. I've got an absurd amount of pennies that need going thru that I should be going thru right now actually. Instead, I'm watching you...going thru pennies. Yeah, kinda a fan of the channel.
I appreciate your time and experience! Keep them coming luv your positive influence. I just wish I could afford a two pound bag. Thank you very much. Ray
I have a 1934 lincoln plancet error with the T in TRUST ERASED and lines going down from there across the 3 and 4 and the bottom half of the 3 is damaged. What would be your opinion on this. It is a brown penny
How much is a 2015 silver dollar American Eagle One Ounce Silver Dollar Coin from the US Mint worth? It has a W mint mark. I've just started collecting. Any tips?
I was wondering if its ok to send you some pics of a couple coins and you possibly let me know what to do at that point lol again you rock super knowledgeable im learning alot
It would be helpful if you used some kind of pointer to indicate what you're talking about. "See that die chip!!!???" "No, where? And which of your 4 or 5 gloved fingers are you using to point? BTW, what's a die chip?"
Please I have 83's 84's and a bunch of 65's and I found some 85's where the numbers in the date are different sizes. Like the 6's. Could you please how I go about having them graded and then if I actually found something what do I do to get what it's worth. Please let me know. The coin shop here won't give you what it's worth.
There’s a lot of talking about how much the coins are worth , but that doesn’t put money in there pockets, here is what you have to do: make a list of places they can easily sell the coins. No one is going to EBay to sell.
Which coin is best. I prepared my bank saying I wanted aBox of Pennie’s, dimes, Nichole’s, quarters, any halves and dollars they had. Also $10 of $1 bills and $100 in $5 and the banker I normally work with said just give him a heads up. I can go through them all because I have the equipment and time to run through it it all since The Army retired me medically. But

1992 D $1000+

Does it have the S mintmark too? If so, then thats worth a good amount, but if not, it’s miniscule.
I found a penny that has a double print never seen one like this before...how can I send you a picture
Florida, Madison
Is a dollar bill with the face printed on the back of bill too a good misprint?
Wouldn't it just be easier to break the roll in half?
