People who live in rural areas are the most likely to survive a world collapse. They know how to live off the land and make their own food and supplies.

The community is small. If you don't pay you get blacklisted and run out of options quickly . I'm just assuming.

I grew up in a community like this. We would go to the store, get what we needed for the day, and my stepfather would settle the account with the store owner every Saturday when he got paid. We called it "fiao". People trusted each other back then.
I love that the aunty was giving you recommendations on which shoes to purchase! So sweet! You have such a kind community around you!
Get the high top, leaves and dirt will get into the low tops when you go pick tea!
