While I am happy for her I fear the government may have already reached her to be their spokesperson in their agenda (soft power). Have you noticed change in her videos message? Before you draw conclusions search for china rural fairly princess liziqi and also how china deals with influencers with large following. Rose, you've showed me that anyone can be successful in whichever country doesn't matter what color they are.
Learning the language and the customs would expedite assimilation. Gotta have thick skin too and turn a blind eye too. There’s always one or two that will show ignorance.
Being a hard worker and good physic makes a huge difference too. Notice most of the black settlers in Asian countries come from rural Africa, where everyone is used to hard labour. Plus Africans tend to learn languages easier, because majority speak more then 3 languages.
Family orientation is similar in Africa and Asian cultures. We highly respect our elders.
@@missqt48 You are right. Although I now live in Canada, I was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. There is no way I can do all that outside/garden work that Rose does while still maintaining her beauiful smile and gentle ways. I will be a miserable cow and be cranky the whole time. Lack of cultural exposure contributes significantly to negative stereotypes, xenophobia, racism, anti immigrant rhetoric, violence, etc. It is common knowledge that many people fear what and (or) who they don't know. So, cultural awareness helps to dispel a lot of those lies.

My grandfather was of African descent and my grandmother was of Chinese descendants and they met in Trinidad and were married. My father was born in 1910 so I can relate to the multiracial. I just love the vibes amongst Rose and her community.
