I did stand-up comedy in my local pub. I’m pleased to say I offended a good few of the ‘permanently offended’ lot, who walked out, clutching tissues and teddies.
I was living and working abroad when Katie rose to public attention (on that Alan Sugar show?) and I was vaguely aware of her subsequent controversial views but only through the media, at a distance. The perception was she as an extremist nutter and I believed that. When I came back to UK a few years ago and saw Katie, firstly in a candace Owens interview I really liked what she had to say, at the same time aware that I was supposed to dislike her for her nasty views. I became a fan especially as I saw the BS govt lines, the decline of Britain and that Katie was a rare honest voice in a sea of manipulation and illusion. It is true how much the media can create perceptions and make monsters of angels and angels of monsters. Well done Katie, you are an incredibly strong, principled and amazing woman.

I saw Frankie Boyle in Blackpool recently. What a waste of £30. Absolutely unfunny, both him and his warm up comedian just standing on stage dressed as a scruff and spouting obscenities and vulgarities wasn't funny, it was crass, base: it wasn't entertaining. Never again. Compare and contrast to Tim Vine and his talented comedy magic warm up who I saw last week was genuinely funny, clever, and with great audience engagement. Tim Vine was non-stop energy, non-stop smiles and laughs. Just like Katie😊

This tells me you are - a true artist - a true professional - on a mission because my drummer hubby is those things One time we were discussing ‘favorite things.’ He thought for a moment and then told me his favorite thing was sitting in with a band of really incredible players and being “in survival mode.” I shan’t ever forget that. His love for music and especially his drums makes him endlessly stretch and test himself. He loves to get last minute calls to sub for someone and prove to himself he can be fabulous and funky with no notice. You were in Survival Mode in that club, Katie. I saw Frankie Boyle in Blackpool recently. What a waste of £30. Absolutely unfunny, both him and his warm up comedian just standing on stage dressed as a scruff and spouting obscenities and vulgarities wasn't funny, it was crass, base: it wasn't entertaining. Never again. Compare and contrast to Tim Vine and his talented comedy magic warm up who I saw last week was genuinely funny, clever, and with great audience engagement. Tim Vine was non-stop energy, non-stop smiles and laughs. Just like Katie😊

One time we were discussing ‘favorite things.’
He thought for a moment and then told me his
favorite thing was sitting in with a band of really incredible players
and being “in survival mode.”
I shan’t ever forget that.
His love for music and especially his drums
makes him endlessly stretch and test himself.
He loves to get last minute calls to sub for someone
and prove to himself he can be fabulous and funky
with no notice.
You were in Survival Mode in that club, Katie.
Because you actually ARE a professional artist and comic
