The best song in the Invictus hack imo.
Yup; there are a couple of others I'd put close as well.
Praying Hands and this gives me a weird sense of sad nostalgia
I use to listen to those late in nights, good memories
hi🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Bruh I swear, this is one of the best original SNES compositions I've ever heard. I'm honestly surprised at how well everything works together in this piece, a slightly different tone in the water-related music genre we hear in games, yet still maintaining that calm, atmospheric nature we've grown to love in several official soundtracks. Very well done, my dude.
Was convinced this was DKC music when watching a stream of Juzcook’s Invictus. Great song, great work.
0:44 best part.
This song is amazing.
This song is incredible, I'm playing through Invictus now and I found myself wishing this stage was harder so I could listen to the song more. Amazing work.
only the creator of casio could call the level i spent the most time on outside of castles and switch palaces an 'easy' level
sounds like donkey kong underwater music made a synth funk song, or something. cool as heck
It's like Underwater Ambiance combined with Stickerbursh Symphony.
2018 was a rough year for me, and I don't even play Mario, but watching the speedrun races of Invictus is a very memorable period from that year, as sad as that may sound to some, but I still revisit this song every few months. Sometimes I would pull this video up, set it to Loop and let it repeat while I do other stuff. I can safely say that I genuinely love this song and it's helped me a lot at various points over the years, thank you.
There is something very calm about it. I listen to it sometimes when I feel overwhelmed and it helps a lot.
this is like the best thing ever
La magia infinita di queste composizioni è davvero straordinaria.
I love this music so much! It captures that under water feel so well! I could listen to this for hours...
Thank you for creating this. This song actually takes me back to a certain point in my life and brings back some real feels. Good music is good music, but GREAT music does exactly this. Amazing job R&G
The background pads sound incredible
This is like an amalgamation of PROGRAM from Kirby:PB and Aquatic Ambience from DKC. It sounds really cool.
Came here from seeing Invictus in GPB's 1000 levels in 100 hours. Beautiful piece.
When I heard this watching an Invictus TAS this song sounded so familiar and was surprised it was an original track. Definitely has a nostalgic feel to it, I love it!
Has some Andreas Vollenweider vibes!
I love it!
I seriously can’t stop listening to this piece! Absolutely incredible!
You’ve made some good stuff, but this is definitely way up there.
Ive been buggin people in invictus twitch streams for this song and juzcook was the one who finally brought me here. This song absolutely slaps and im going to do a guitar cover soon. Thank you!
This. Is. Amazing. Will be jamming to this! (love the complete OST aswell)
Astounding work as usual
this is sooooo fucking good god damn. this might be the best custom video game music ive ever heard.
Mixed with aquatic ambience and other underwater stages
Ah Invictus, one of the futuristic ROM hacks ever created, the first one is Banzai Mario i guess.
This makes me feel so nostalgic and for some reason this is sad for me but i like it.
1000th like lol. This music is real nice, keep up the great work!
Like everyone else, Invictus brought me here, but holy shit dude, this song is amazing.
"Fwaaaaaaah!~" -Plumo
(Seriously Though! Am I The only one That Thinks of her when Listening to this Music? ^^)
SPC700 Never sounded so cool
Yes!
this really sound great :)
Amazing track! Best of Invictus. Can I use this on some of my works? Not Super Mario related, just some amateur game videos.
I seriously thought this was a Dk song that had slipped from my mind!!
Any chance you could put this on Spotify?
seriously! your work is amazing. I was wondering if you could possible do some tracks for my game, if its not too much to ask.
Thank you so much! I'm already busy with school/working on a few projects, so I prefer not to make other commitments for now. Thanks for asking though, I appreciate it.
I've already asked before haha, but i just want to be sure, could i at least use your original music for my game? ill be sure to credit you!
Oh that's right :P yes, you're free to use my music (as long as it's not made specifically for certain projects/games).
did you use openMPT?
Hey Red&Green! I love your work, and I was wondering if I could maybe commission you for a romhack I'm working on? Well, kinda working on, I still need to learn ASM lmao
Invictus 👌🏻
Is there an extended version of this?
you have downloads turned off for this track on soundcloud ): i really wanted to get it
I had turned them on, but it seems to have exceeded the download limit! thanks for the heads up, here's a link to the mp3 file: drive.google.com/file/d/1sTDql2eoBq5crwEJZEbiKh474b-uGxuJ/view
@@redngreen thanks! definitely one of my favorites
Falls wer von Dennsen heute noch kommen sollte, liebe grüße ✌💜
Astonishing! The theme that starts from about 1:06 is absolutely the best stuff that I have ever heard in a video game. I have been watching various people playing the new SMW hack and this is the tune that gets me everytime. Really catchy and stylish! I get some classic fusion jazz vibes throughout the tune. Great job!
This part feels reeeeeally familiar to me, tough IDK from where
@@gustavofelipesabrito7365 Invictus?
1:06 Whenever I hear this part I get goosebumps. It's so gooooooood
So great. Love the percussion.
I really resonate with this song. It was magical when I heard it on Invictus.
Fantastic! I want a longer cut I can loop, simply mesmerizing.
At just 2:16, I wish this track was three times longer! Extended Coral Labyrinth anyone?
I just noticed the silhouetted person in the bottom right
I think that's an optical illusion, but I see it too
Maybe, Megathian, but i definitely see a hand with five fingers! lol
Zachary Detrick ik, good observation, it looks pretty creepy
very coole
Found it, thanks brother
Amazing work on this tune!
Hey, great stuff!
Stop using adsr, im going to die of joy
Why is this so good? Like seriously why is it so damn good? I love this!!!
Just curious. What did you use to make this track? I see that it was an spc file, but I'm not sure what program you could use to make such a file. Absolutely love this track. (I also just remembered. I couldn't find Funky forest as a standalone track anywhere I looked. Is there a place where it might be?)
Thank you so much! I wrote this track in MML format using Notepad. The tune was then inserted to Super Mario World and compiled to an spc file through a tool called AddmusicK, which is the standard music insertion tool for SMW hacking.
As for Funky Forest...hmm it doesn't seem to be uploaded anywhere on RUclips, but you can find the spc file for it in SMWCentral's music section (just ctrl+f "RednGreen's C3 music pack" and it should come up).
@@redngreen Thank you for the quick reply! Never heard of the MML format before, so that'll be setting interesting to look into. Thank you so much, your music definitely sets the bar high for SMW hack music imo. Definitely going to check out your other stuff!
@@redngreen Did you compose originally in OpenMPT or some other tracker though? My superficial research tells me there's no SNES tracker currently. Does the SPC Player emulate the sound hardware of the SNES?
@@xXBR4D3NXx SPC Player is supposed to emulate SNES' music on its own. About the trackers for SNES music, there's SNESGSS.
Any DKC inspiration here (at least in the beginning part)? Either way, I love this. It captures the mysterious but open feeling of an ocean environment, before it develops into a downright catchy tune in its own right. Really, really good job here.
Thank you very much! Yes, DKC was definitely an inspiration for this track, especially towards 0:43 (where I tried to make an Aquatic Ambiance-styled bassline & melody).
this is so oneohtrix
Pocket tanks
What Stickerbrush Symphony was to DKC2.
The melody lines remind me of Get Your Wish by Porter Robinson
Pitchmod, is this you?
Extended version, please? =3
