These doubts came from an orientalist called Arthur Jeffrey who was the first one to bring out a manuscript for Kitab Al Masahif by Ibn Abi Dawud. Since muslims hadn’t yet produced the book at that time, those who wanted access to the book had to read the tahqiq of the orientalist where he brought all of his doubts. That’s how they crept into the muslims.

alot of ppl misuse the 4 mathhabs to push divide blindly instead of transparent unity as all 4 mathhabs said always return what we say to the Quran and sunnah made available to all of us! If we were united in worship and studying as Sunnah teaches, then we would be united as a society.
Quran 21 : 7 says ask ahlul thikr but how many follow the next step, Quran 12 : 108 following and uniting on evidence for Tawhid as all 4 mathhabs teach?
Allah knows best if he tampered with it, but muslims were forced to read his tahqiq of the book which allowed him to write all of his doubts there, that’s how they got introduced into the muslim world.

This fitnah with arthur jeffry work is just one example how brittle is the condition muslim scholarly works in this scope of truth. Doubt is allowed to meddle within the islamic circle. thus it requires more islamic research or more fitnah arise among muslims ourselves. The truth is with Allah and muslim scholars must not stop here from seeking it and do daawah about it. if not Allah will replace these muslims scholars with other people who think truth stops with them and throwing around allegations upon those who disagree with them. it is a good thing YQ stirs it and keep it under so we muslims are not complacent for the sake of our own iman...waAllaulaalam.

Don't abbreviate the salawat of the prophet sallallahu alayhi wassalam. I think there was a fatwa from ibn baz where he said it is impermissible. Im sure other scholars would also agree.

I don't know guys, but someone who says that worshipping Qabr is fine, or that Yajuj and Majuj are viruses(while Rasulullah ﷺ clearly said that they are people) and stuff like that, is a person who is just spreading bida'ah inside the Ummah. I hope for him that his niyya is pure and he is not just a corruptor of the Deen. he is basically playing with the mind of people who has little knowledge of the Quran and Sunnah. The Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ are always the best sources. And always ask Allah for Guidance through Surah Al Fatiha.

Yasir Qadhi gets his education from western institutes like Yale that teach different philosophies. Not unlike those who developed deviant beliefs from ilm ul Kalam

@@abdulazizmanaf2015 we can recognise issues with his faith or lack thereof, in what he himself says. Apparently when he claimed he studied in Medina, there were those who recognised the issue even back then. I have heard from a scholar in Medina from many years back warning about his ideas being deviant, and certainly not from 'Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jamma' a.
The real shame of it was that he was given carte blanche by the Muslim communities in the West to do dawah and build his profile as a 'scholar' on their behalf. He was treated as knowledgeable and trustworthy without holding his teachings to account. Now sadly much of the damage has already been done.
It is no wonder that at the time of dajjaal, the most elite of the scholars of that time will be deceived.

If my Iman was not as strong as it was at the time, I would have found life very difficult for myself. Many years ago I started watching his Seerah series because at that time, no one else on RUclips was doing such a comprehensive course. He got to the part about the satanic versus and wallahi what he said and the hadith he quoted I still remember to this day. He went on to say that many very famous scholars sided with the idea that Shatan actually tricked prophet Mohammad pbuh into thinking he was Jibreel. I could not believe what I was hearing. It was not until Sheikh Uthman noted that this hadith was a fabrication that I realized the truth about this. Allah only knows how many Muslims this miskeen turned away from Islam because of what he used to teach. He is well known at not only concealing that a hadith is fabricated in order to strengthen his point, but he also deliberately mis-quotes ahadith to suit his needs. May Allah help us all.

I have a question. If he says the Qur'an is not preserved (not sure if he says this exactly or that the narrative has holes), would he not be rejecting a verse of the Qur'an cause Allah says, "It is certainly We Who have revealed the Reminder, and it is certainly We Who will preserve it." [15:9]

We have people today of every background, religion, race, and nationality embracing all sort of conspiracy theories, and we believe them. Today, there are people who have so much time on their hands, instead of engaging in a meaningful acts, they turn their keyboards into a weapon to attack and attack and defame others. This is a great fitna. Those who are engage in this behavior should fear Allah, He is capable of all things, including exposing our own faults and sins.

هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ آيَاتٌ مُّحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ ابْتِغَاءَ الْفِتْنَةِ وَابْتِغَاءَ تَأْوِيلِهِ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَهُ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَالرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِّنْ عِندِ رَبِّنَا وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّا أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ
It is He Who has sent down to you (Muhammad صلي الله عليه وسلم) the Book (this Quran). In it are Verses that are entirely clear, they are the foundations of the Book [and those are the Verses of Al-Ahkam (commandments, etc.), Al-Fara'id (obligatory duties) and Al-Hudud (legal laws for the punishment of thieves, adulterers, etc.)]; and others not entirely clear. So as for those in whose hearts there is a deviation (from the truth) they follow that which is not entirely clear thereof, seeking Al-Fitnah (polytheism and trials, etc.), and seeking for its hidden meanings, but none knows its hidden meanings save Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in it; the whole of it (clear and unclear Verses) are from our Lord." And none receive admonition except men of understanding.
Quran is Perfect and unchanged. You cannot write a Surah like Quran. If anyone doubts then Quran challenges you to try.
And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you are truthful. (Quran 2:23)

Without going into too much detail, one cannot cast doubt on these organisations like the British Library ect without any evidence. In many ways they take a lot of care in preserving ancient artifacts than many Muslim countries who do not value their own heritage, culture and literature sorry to say. Allah Knows Best

If you believe in Allah and you don’t understand a ajet in the Quran, why would you doubt the whole Quran? If you don’t understand trigonometry for example, you’re not gonna say „I don’t believe in mathematics anymore. It’s wrong“. If your iman is already strong than just believe what is written. When Allah gives you a order that seems illogical to you it is still the right thing. Musa a.s. mother put him in a river as a baby which obviously seems illogical but it’s not since it’s from all knowing Allah. If you REALLY want to understand something you don’t, then ask Allah for knowledge (after going to scholars etc.). Scholars dedicate their lifes to understand and come closer to god.

Yasir Qadhi sometimes has no idea what he is talking about especially dealing with the Holy Quran. We really cannot tell who he is trying to please. I am sure he is trying to get some kind of an audience from the other side. Please Mr. Qadhi, be rest accrued that will not work simply because we have too many experts in Islam that can detect a phony. Please sir clean your act to keep our message clean and pure as it has always been 100% accurate.

Nobody knows who is hiding behind Sheep Face.
There are many efforts to respond to those orientalists but mostly it's individual ones against huge western institutions with big bucks funding. But with this little means Allah swt has put barakah in these efforts and all shubuhat have been destroyed. Some have been debunked by new research done by orientalists and new discoveries in archeology.
We need real institutions with funding from Muslim governments though.

I also believe no one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes (even you and me = we are not perfect)...
Before jumping to conclusion and labeling any Muslim as Murtad or Kafir or questioning their Aqeedah etc... we must grant them a Q&A opportunity to correct their mistakes, absolve themselves of any wrong doing... so they can clarify their position in accordance with the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah of Rasulullah saws... it's only when this process has been properly exhausted and evaluated that judgment can then be passed on their status... this is my humble view... yes I am just a very simple student on the path of learning our beautiful and magnificent Islam, Alhamdulillah.
In my humble view, we need to keep the Ummah and our Ulama united and stop fragmentation of the Ummah because of some human errors or unintended mistakes etc because we all make mistakes and Allah Ta'ala knows best and HE alone is the ultimate Judge of our intentions and actions, Alhamdulillah.
Wallahi unity is our absolute key to success and prosperity, thus, if this Ummah needs and wants to succeed = we must remain united on all fronts, In'Sha'Allah.
I recall you were very compassionate and lenient with several scholars who made grave mistakes in their utterances and/or publications etc... you gave them the opportunity of Q&A and followed the above referred processes in an amicable manner... has your office or any renowned Muslim scholars organization accorded the highly demanded and required Q&A opportunity to Yasir Qadhi, Omar Suleiman, Mufti Menk, Nouman Ali Khan and other Western based students or scholars with whom you seem to have fundamental differences in Qur'an and/or authentic Sunnah? In my humble view, it's only when the fore-indicated process has been done compassionately, with leniency and degree of tolerance that conclusions can be drawn... I hope you and the respected all our respected and highly regarded Muslim scholars will do the right thing and keep the Ulama & the Ummah united, In'Sha'Allah.
