I am not a Khan hater. That said, I have also noticed the use of the word great(as highlighted by 1 of those Cornette episode clips that made the rounds). Not going to do the work and count the number of times he used it but I am kinda curious as to what that count would be.

AEW exists, it's awesome, the greater pro wrestling world is working together like never before and could only be dreamed off years ago..it's a GREAT reality... even WWE started giving their fan base the type of product they can truly enjoy again. Yep, that's what he said, and his own rehab. That's another example of AEW being a mid-card company. Contrast to the more recent tricep tear on the other arm and WWE took care of everything including the rehab regime, same as its doing for Charlotte, and same as it'll do for Seth and his knee.

Imo, Tony has done a great job and is doing a great job as a booker. All the detractors who parrot the same generic garbage can be as visible as they want (sure seems they have nothing better to do) repeating the same old garbage..... maybe if they had better wrestling to watch elsewhere they'd be too busy with that... but I'm sure i must be really dumb or something...meh
Right because since everyone is saying it must mean it’s not true. He’s a terrible booker because he has no experience & thinks because he has been fan booking wrestling since he was a toddler that means he would be good at it. A great booker would understand none of that shit matters when it’s real life & you need someone with at least experience working in the wrestling business to be a ok booker let alone a “Great Booker”.
@sashalove83 LOOK...Anti-AEW people wanna slate Tony and all the things he is doing "wrong", yet ultimately would love AEW to fail....if he did things "right" it would still be "wrong". Maintaining 800-900k viewership in the US over 5 years and 100-120k ppv buys is an indicator of success and sustainability. I'm a wrestling fan of 30 years and imo AEW is the best thing to ever happen to wrestling. TK's savant knowledge of wrestling is great and he's always catering to his audience and giving us stuff to be excited about.
If you're opinion was the prevailent one, AEW would have been dead already. Just cos anti-AEW ppl seem to spend all their time trashing AEW and saying the same innaccurate generic things and it floods AEW related videos doesn't seem to do much good. Us wrestling fans who favour AEW/NJPW/ROH etc have so much good stuff to watch and the pro wrestling world is more exciting than ever.... biggest reason for that? TONY KHAN ♥
@sashalove83 also, who would know what a wrestling fan wants more than a guy as invested in wrestling and as knowledgeable about wrestling as TK? Again, I'm a 30 year fan, have watched WCW, WWE, ECW, TNA, ROH, NJPW, and loads of other wrestling, and AEW is the best thing ever imo.... and I'm not the only one. AEW has an audience, such as myself and we are finally catered too and the numbers don't lie. They're big numbers. They generate lots of money. It's sustainable. It's GREAT.
Now..... i don't watch WWE cos i find it very very boring in general, from the promos to the matches. it's not to my tastes.
What should WWE do to cater to me?....I DON'T CARE. How should they book? I DON'T CARE. There's different ways to do things, and AEW is an example of that.
It's better for wrestlers too cos, for instance; Cody, Jade, Punk all work better WWE style. Danielson, Claudio, Mox (all non-WWE guys really) work better in the larger pro wrestling world.... who made this world happen more than anyone else ultimately????....TONY KHAN ♥

Tony came on to promote his shows and PPV…I understand that. But for as much as he talks about the TV networks, ratings etc his actions seem to be working to the contrary a lot of the time.

The Nyla stuff is ridiculous. Wrestling is a work so there's no issue in my mind. In legit sports? Sure. It aint good, especially in contact sports, but pro wrestling is a different kettle of fish. Was really surprised to see that sports commissions still get involved in pro wrestling tbh.

Pro wrestling is still an athletic competition and falls within the guidelines of various states athletic commissions .
