I found the thought of a 60 campaign extremely daunting, but the hours are flying by. It is not often I think about a game when I am not playing it, but this one has certainly got its hooks in me. It is not often I have the urge to binge play a game, but this game is severely testing my batteries!
The art style is not my particular taste, but I can't help but marvel at the scale, grandeur and attention to detail. The story is not my particular thing either, but it does not get in the way of the fun. It is a brilliant game.

It's so good. I'm playing on story mode because I suck at these genres and just want to play the game but I still die a lot lol. I can imagine higher difficulty levels will challenge many that enjoy it.

another cool thing. if you really want to experience the first game, i additionally got asgard's wrath 1 on my quest app on pc for absolutely free. so if you have a link cable (and a good enough pc), you can download and play the first game which i'm doing right now before i hop into 2.

A big update came for it and I could no longer run it on my quest 3 as it went well past my storage capacity. its crazy they give you a game that needs all the storage space.

Just received my quest 3, asgard's wrath 2 has been the only game that when I am running it is like running through a tunnel .is something set too high graphically wise? Thanks
pretty sure thats vr vignette, its to help with motion sickness and you should be able to disable it in settings

I have played R.E 4 but not this game
that is a good question because Resident Evil 4 is awesome but also very different from this. So this opinion is very personal but resident evil 4 would get a 8,5 for me and this an 8. I hope that helps
Is anybody else experiencing painfully slow quest downloads? My Internet is fast but it takes an incredible amount of time to download games such as this one. 30gb it's taking me 30hrs to download! It takes so long I can't install the game because something always goes wrong and it restarts. I was at 17gb, turned my headset off and when I turned it back on it restarted!!
Personally i didnt have this problem myself. Did you try the same on different internet connection ?

It's kind of fun, but the graphics don't look anything like they do in this video. The actual game looks like something you'd play on a phone. A lot of stuff is blurry, and the textures are very minimal. For free, I can't really complain, but I wouldn't spend 60 bucks on it. It's getting overhyped reviews, IMO. The "open" world feels very empty, not like other RPGs I've played like Witcher or FF.
@@TheExtraTerrestrial So you only feel like you got your money's worth for 60 bucks if the game has nice graphics? Most open worlds ARE empty in the same way. It's just that they put a bunch of shrubs or un-enterable buildings in between. Since this is a desert, it makes sense that there isn't much shrubbery between points of interest.
@@LARVideos Even the loot I was finding was junk. It honestly doesn't hold a candle to other good RPGs I've played. I guess VR players are just used to such crappy games, that when one halfway decent one comes along, they are amazed. For free, it's not a bad game, and it should be free. It's not even a Quest 3 game; it's Quest 2. Compare AW2 to Witcher 3. Even though Witcher is old, and played on flat screens, it's MILES better.

that's really the wrong mindset. It's not a traditional, story-first, party-based RPG like Skyrim, Baldur's Gate or Final Fantasy - it's an action RPG with at best one companion in battle. It's closer to God of War (modern) or Zelda Twilight Princess. It has much better and proper interactions, combat and interface for VR than Skyrim. And tho world is not as large, feels just as epic...
hi how can i transfer files from low end pc to quest 3 without using paid software .
Download the side quest client on your PC and connect your quest to it using the charging cable and you’ll be able to transfer files there regardless of PC specs

I actually enjoy this game a lot also the games you mention are not quest 3 standalone experiences so no I do think it is the best standalone game but not the best vr game of all time if you compare it to pcvr games too. The sole reason I won't buy this is the shitty Egyptian setting (which i have absolutely no interest in). The nerve of calling this 'Asgards Wrath' and having absolutely nothing to do with viking mythology (which I love) is seriously insulting.
I've never played the first as I don't own a PC but it looks far, FAR superior to this nonsense cartoon Egypt adventure.
It's got nothing to do with asgard
well they shifted their focus from norse to Egypt just like god of war did kinda in a similar way
