My wife started doing these exercises without telling me. When I noticed them, I decided to jump in while she was doing one, and props. I realize my hips are the weakest so I have been having hip pain during the exercises, but not afterwards, like once my hips relax they are fine. I am very glad your channel exists, i am obese and being able to do chair exercises as well as standing up and being mobile gives me hope 🙂. Going to continue with the exercises!

I am a senior (65), and I have been recovering from/coping with Guillain-Barre syndrome for 2 & 1/2 years, it has left me with nerve damage primarily in my feet and lower legs. Additionally a result of GBS is Chronic Fatigue syndrome. I know when I exercise that I feel better, even if I don't think I have the energy for it. Before my illness I was very active, walking a couple miles daily, longer hikes on weekends, kayaking several times a week, yoga daily. I have been doing your workouts for 3 weeks now and started with just 10 minutes a day, slowly adding more each week. Now most days I can do 3 sessions of 10-20 minutes each, spread through out the day. It is helping with my energy level tremendously! I really appreciate the pace and I'm feeling accomplished and stronger all the time. I enjoy both of your personalities and demeanor. I never feel rushed or intimidated. Thank you!

I started this April 1 everyday to get ready for vacation with grandkids to the Smokey mountains. I'm proud to say I had no trouble keeping up with them. I even beat them to the top of a steep incline. All thanks to your workouts. Back from vacation and back to working out. This 62 year old grandma even went zip lining! Thanks so much.

It took me 14 days to go through this series the first time but I can tell a big difference starting the program over. More strength, coordination, and endurance this time around. I remember I had to sit down for the last third of the first routine when I did it the first time. No sit downs and no holding on for the balance exercises this time around. I am almost 73 and really needed to get back to exercising regularly. So glad to have found April and Aiko!

I’m 55 and not as supple or fit as I was 30 years ago. Just discovered your channel and I love it. Just done these exercises, even though they were simple I felt my heart rate increased and I got warm. Thank you 🙏. Hopefully with diet and exercise I can improve my type 2 diabetes.

Finally!!!! After 65 years I found exercises that I really enjoy doing! You are doing such a GREAT job! No intro that takes forever and enjoyable but nevertheless effective. Did day 1 yesterday and was looking fwd to day 2. Never had this in my whole life! I’ve tried everything but I hate sports, so… But at my age I feel I’m getting aches and pains everywhere because I sit way too much. Now I found you two. Amazing! I guess I’m in between you and your mom age wise, so that is just great for me. When I prefer to sit I can. When I feel “young enough” to stand I do that. It’s not hours on end. No irritating music. Good morning, April, Aiko, and anyone else reading this comment! 🌞 This is Week 2 for me of trying to return to my regular exercise routine. I managed to reach the goal of working out at least 10 minutes a day, 5 days a week last Monday-Sunday, and I hope to be able to at least match that this week, and _maybe_ even manage to fit in a 6th day. I decided to come back to this 7-day 10-minute workout challenge this week, since it already has each day's workout planned out for me. Day 1 completed now, and looking forward with both excitement and a little bit of trepidation to the Day 2 strength workout. It will be my first time trying to use weights in quite a while. (Monday, November 18, 2024)

I lost my husband of 40 yrs 2 yrs ago new years eve. His B-day 01 19 So I just haven't found my thing other than mental Health ( I'm in grief group) But I forgot my body !!!!!! I'm not your mum's age lol I'm in my 30s. But I have a heart condition that reduces my oxygen saturation and leaves me tired if I push myself. So I use gentle exercises like these to form a daily routine and keep my heart pumping at a healthy rate. My cardiologist is pleased that I'm exercising everyday even if it is from senior fitness channels.

Of course this one's a thumbs up! Fast was the driving word here for me: the moves were simple but the heart rate went up because of this. It's the perfect segue to more challenging cardio workouts for today. I intend on doing so with the upcoming 10 minute routines. In fact, I plan on doing 4 in a row and work hard at them to complete my 40 minute daily cardio exercises once you've sent us the first 4. I'm a little over a month late to start this challenge, so I doubled up today and did both the Day 1 and the Day 2 workouts. I hope to be able to do the Day 3 workout before work tomorrow -- probably unrealistic to expect to do more than that on a workday. I'm thankful that all the workouts in this year's challenge are short -- makes it more likely that I'll be able to meet the challenge.😁

My wife started doing these exercises without telling me. When I noticed them, I decided to jump in while she was doing one, and props. I realize my hips are the weakest so I have been having hip pain during the exercises, but not afterwards, like once my hips relax they are fine.
I am very glad your channel exists, i am obese and being able to do chair exercises as well as standing up and being mobile gives me hope 🙂. Going to continue with the exercises!

I am a senior (65), and I have been recovering from/coping with Guillain-Barre syndrome for 2 & 1/2 years, it has left me with nerve damage primarily in my feet and lower legs. Additionally a result of GBS is Chronic Fatigue syndrome. I know when I exercise that I feel better, even if I don't think I have the energy for it. Before my illness I was very active, walking a couple miles daily, longer hikes on weekends, kayaking several times a week, yoga daily. I have been doing your workouts for 3 weeks now and started with just 10 minutes a day, slowly adding more each week. Now most days I can do 3 sessions of 10-20 minutes each, spread through out the day. It is helping with my energy level tremendously! I really appreciate the pace and I'm feeling accomplished and stronger all the time. I enjoy both of your personalities and demeanor. I never feel rushed or intimidated. Thank you!

I started this April 1 everyday to get ready for vacation with grandkids to the Smokey mountains. I'm proud to say I had no trouble keeping up with them. I even beat them to the top of a steep incline. All thanks to your workouts. Back from vacation and back to working out. This 62 year old grandma even went zip lining! Thanks so much.

It took me 14 days to go through this series the first time but I can tell a big difference starting the program over. More strength, coordination, and endurance this time around. I remember I had to sit down for the last third of the first routine when I did it the first time. No sit downs and no holding on for the balance exercises this time around. I am almost 73 and really needed to get back to exercising regularly. So glad to have found April and Aiko!

I’m 55 and not as supple or fit as I was 30 years ago. Just discovered your channel and I love it. Just done these exercises, even though they were simple I felt my heart rate increased and I got warm. Thank you 🙏. Hopefully with diet and exercise I can improve my type 2 diabetes.

I am a 58 year old man. I just had a heart stent put in back in April. I have arthritis in my low back and hips, so I needed exercises that would be doable. Between your workouts, and going for 1-2 mile walks, I feel like I am bettering my health. Thank you for your videos. 😁

Finally!!!! After 65 years I found exercises that I really enjoy doing! You are doing such a GREAT job! No intro that takes forever and enjoyable but nevertheless effective. Did day 1 yesterday and was looking fwd to day 2. Never had this in my whole life! I’ve tried everything but I hate sports, so… But at my age I feel I’m getting aches and pains everywhere because I sit way too much. Now I found you two. Amazing! I guess I’m in between you and your mom age wise, so that is just great for me. When I prefer to sit I can. When I feel “young enough” to stand I do that. It’s not hours on end. No irritating music. Love it! So well done. And I do love the gorgeous kitty❤❤❤

Good morning, April, Aiko, and anyone else reading this comment! 🌞 This is Week 2 for me of trying to return to my regular exercise routine. I managed to reach the goal of working out at least 10 minutes a day, 5 days a week last Monday-Sunday, and I hope to be able to at least match that this week, and _maybe_ even manage to fit in a 6th day. I decided to come back to this 7-day 10-minute workout challenge this week, since it already has each day's workout planned out for me. Day 1 completed now, and looking forward with both excitement and a little bit of trepidation to the Day 2 strength workout. It will be my first time trying to use weights in quite a while. (Monday, November 18, 2024)

I'm not your mum's age lol I'm in my 30s. But I have a heart condition that reduces my oxygen saturation and leaves me tired if I push myself. So I use gentle exercises like these to form a daily routine and keep my heart pumping at a healthy rate. My cardiologist is pleased that I'm exercising everyday even if it is from senior fitness channels.

Of course this one's a thumbs up! Fast was the driving word here for me: the moves were simple but the heart rate went up because of this. It's the perfect segue to more challenging cardio workouts for today. I intend on doing so with the upcoming 10 minute routines. In fact, I plan on doing 4 in a row and work hard at them to complete my 40 minute daily cardio exercises once you've sent us the first 4. Easy moves work for beginners but also for the more advanced. I definitely jumpstarted my new year today. Thank you April and Aiko for your pleasant chatter...Anastasia

Hello there to Aiko, Mochi and of course you, April. Happy New Year and many blessings as we progress through 2023. I was able to complete this 1st of 7 days of the 10-minute walking workouts. Buffy (my cat) enjoyed seeing Mochi (your cat) relaxing in the chair, as she was on the carpet cleaning herself. It was amazing how quickly the 10 minutes passed. I am so looking forward to the year ahead and our progress to becoming healthier together. Until then, keep up the good work.

I'm a little over a month late to start this challenge, so I doubled up today and did both the Day 1 and the Day 2 workouts. I hope to be able to do the Day 3 workout before work tomorrow -- probably unrealistic to expect to do more than that on a workday. I'm thankful that all the workouts in this year's challenge are short -- makes it more likely that I'll be able to meet the challenge.😁
