I'm not your mum's age lol I'm in my 30s. But I have a heart condition that reduces my oxygen saturation and leaves me tired if I push myself. So I use gentle exercises like these to form a daily routine and keep my heart pumping at a healthy rate. My cardiologist is pleased that I'm exercising everyday even if it is from senior fitness channels.

My wife started doing these exercises without telling me. When I noticed them, I decided to jump in while she was doing one, and props. I realize my hips are the weakest so I have been having hip pain during the exercises, but not afterwards, like once my hips relax they are fine. I am very glad your channel exists, i am obese and being able to do chair exercises as well as standing up and being mobile gives me hope 🙂. Going to continue with the exercises!

I am a senior (65), and I have been recovering from/coping with Guillain-Barre syndrome for 2 & 1/2 years, it has left me with nerve damage primarily in my feet and lower legs. Additionally a result of GBS is Chronic Fatigue syndrome. I know when I exercise that I feel better, even if I don't think I have the energy for it. Before my illness I was very active, walking a couple miles daily, longer hikes on weekends, kayaking several times a week, yoga daily. I have been doing your workouts for 3 weeks now and started with just 10 minutes a day, slowly adding more each week. Now most days I can do 3 sessions of 10-20 minutes each, spread through out the day. It is helping with my energy level tremendously! I really appreciate the pace and I'm feeling accomplished and stronger all the time. I enjoy both of your personalities and demeanor. I never feel rushed or intimidated. Thank you!

I started this April 1 everyday to get ready for vacation with grandkids to the Smokey mountains. I'm proud to say I had no trouble keeping up with them. I even beat them to the top of a steep incline. All thanks to your workouts. Back from vacation and back to working out. This 62 year old grandma even went zip lining! Thanks so much.

I could have sworn I replied to your message. Oh well! Forgive me if this is a duplicate message! In general, shoes should be worn to provide support as you move. I recommend wearing shoes for cardio workouts, including walking and step workouts. For strength training, shoes are optional. But if you've never done strength training without shoes, start out slowly to allow your feet to get used to stabilizing on the floor. Perhaps try doing one or two exercises without shoes and build from there. Shoes are optional for balance and stretching. Not wearing shoes for balance work can be more challenging as it forces your feet, to stabilize in contact with the floor.

I’m 55 and not as supple or fit as I was 30 years ago. Just discovered your channel and I love it. Just done these exercises, even though they were simple I felt my heart rate increased and I got warm. Thank you 🙏. Hopefully with diet and exercise I can improve my type 2 diabetes.

Of course this one's a thumbs up! Fast was the driving word here for me: the moves were simple but the heart rate went up because of this. It's the perfect segue to more challenging cardio workouts for today. I intend on doing so with the upcoming 10 minute routines. In fact, I plan on doing 4 in a row and work hard at them to complete my 40 minute daily cardio exercises once you've sent us the first 4. Easy moves work for beginners but also for the more advanced. I definitely jumpstarted my new year today. Thank you April and Aiko for your pleasant chatter...Anastasia

I lost my husband of 40 yrs 2 yrs ago new years eve. His B-day 01 19 So I just haven't found my thing other than mental Health ( I'm in grief group) But I forgot my body !!!!!! I'll definitely start this tomorrow. It's challenging to do this 1 week workout challenge, just like doing coding for 1 week challenge to start tomorrow also. Need some workout before I start coding. I'm not yet senior, just in my 30's but I love your workout with your mom. I can't do workout with my mom, she had osteoarthritis and can barely walk with crutches. Arthritis runs in our blood.

hi! im not the type to comment on workout videos but this time i felt the need to do it, im about to turn 20 and i used to workout pretty much every day but i took a a one month break which lead to a 6 month break (im lazy and consistency is probably my biggest challenge to workout). today, i took the decision to get back at it because lately ive been living in such a sedentary way and that its making me sad and kinda depressed so i really want to change that... well, my point is that i found this video and i did it to begin to workout again and throughtout the whole video, i felt happy and very motivated to keep going! i also felt kinda tired because of the sedentary life but im so glad to slowly change that... thank you SO much for your videos, ill be back tomorrow for day 2! my best wishes to you all the way from mexico, take care

Your walking exercises are so good! I love that you have your Mom there. She's adorable! I was dumb and paid for another walking course. It wasn't geared to seniors and the app drained my cell battery. It wasn't on RUclips so had to try and exercise on my tiny cell phone screen. Disaster! It took me 10 emails to get out of the program and still had to pay $25 for the first month! I ordered myself a $6 step counter and found y'all on RUclips. I can keep up with your Mom so I'm fairly certain I'm doing my body some good. I'm 72 and very sedentary(?). I'm a couch potato! But you've got me moving. I'm also trying to lose weight but want to not feel so "old". I try to do a segment with y'all 4 times a week. I just started so I'll let you know how it's going. Thank you! I am a 58 year old man. I just had a heart stent put in back in April. I have arthritis in my low back and hips, so I needed exercises that would be doable. Between your workouts, and going for 1-2 mile walks, I feel like I am bettering my health. Thank you for your videos. 😁

I'm not your mum's age lol I'm in my 30s. But I have a heart condition that reduces my oxygen saturation and leaves me tired if I push myself. So I use gentle exercises like these to form a daily routine and keep my heart pumping at a healthy rate. My cardiologist is pleased that I'm exercising everyday even if it is from senior fitness channels.

My wife started doing these exercises without telling me. When I noticed them, I decided to jump in while she was doing one, and props. I realize my hips are the weakest so I have been having hip pain during the exercises, but not afterwards, like once my hips relax they are fine.
I am very glad your channel exists, i am obese and being able to do chair exercises as well as standing up and being mobile gives me hope 🙂. Going to continue with the exercises!

I am a senior (65), and I have been recovering from/coping with Guillain-Barre syndrome for 2 & 1/2 years, it has left me with nerve damage primarily in my feet and lower legs. Additionally a result of GBS is Chronic Fatigue syndrome. I know when I exercise that I feel better, even if I don't think I have the energy for it. Before my illness I was very active, walking a couple miles daily, longer hikes on weekends, kayaking several times a week, yoga daily. I have been doing your workouts for 3 weeks now and started with just 10 minutes a day, slowly adding more each week. Now most days I can do 3 sessions of 10-20 minutes each, spread through out the day. It is helping with my energy level tremendously! I really appreciate the pace and I'm feeling accomplished and stronger all the time. I enjoy both of your personalities and demeanor. I never feel rushed or intimidated. Thank you!

I started this April 1 everyday to get ready for vacation with grandkids to the Smokey mountains. I'm proud to say I had no trouble keeping up with them. I even beat them to the top of a steep incline. All thanks to your workouts. Back from vacation and back to working out. This 62 year old grandma even went zip lining! Thanks so much.

I could have sworn I replied to your message. Oh well! Forgive me if this is a duplicate message! In general, shoes should be worn to provide support as you move. I recommend wearing shoes for cardio workouts, including walking and step workouts. For strength training, shoes are optional. But if you've never done strength training without shoes, start out slowly to allow your feet to get used to stabilizing on the floor. Perhaps try doing one or two exercises without shoes and build from there. Shoes are optional for balance and stretching. Not wearing shoes for balance work can be more challenging as it forces your feet, to stabilize in contact with the floor.

Of course this one's a thumbs up! Fast was the driving word here for me: the moves were simple but the heart rate went up because of this. It's the perfect segue to more challenging cardio workouts for today. I intend on doing so with the upcoming 10 minute routines. In fact, I plan on doing 4 in a row and work hard at them to complete my 40 minute daily cardio exercises once you've sent us the first 4. Another great video. Just started this 7 day challenge. I did partial chair and part standing. Doing your other 10 Min. Walking workout for several days got me started and ready for this challenge. Thanks Ladies. Really enjoying exercising with you. I'm not a granny but will be 75 next month.

I'll definitely start this tomorrow. It's challenging to do this 1 week workout challenge, just like doing coding for 1 week challenge to start tomorrow also. Need some workout before I start coding. I'm not yet senior, just in my 30's but I love your workout with your mom. I can't do workout with my mom, she had osteoarthritis and can barely walk with crutches. Arthritis runs in our blood.

hi! im not the type to comment on workout videos but this time i felt the need to do it, im about to turn 20 and i used to workout pretty much every day but i took a a one month break which lead to a 6 month break (im lazy and consistency is probably my biggest challenge to workout). today, i took the decision to get back at it because lately ive been living in such a sedentary way and that its making me sad and kinda depressed so i really want to change that... well, my point is that i found this video and i did it to begin to workout again and throughtout the whole video, i felt happy and very motivated to keep going! i also felt kinda tired because of the sedentary life but im so glad to slowly change that... thank you SO much for your videos, ill be back tomorrow for day 2! my best wishes to you all the way from mexico, take care

Hi Patricia! So proud of you for making a commitment to focus on losing weight and improving your health. We are honored to inspire you. Please check with your doctor before starting a new diet and exercise program. When starting out, I recommend not focusing on the scale -- your body needs time to adjust to new habits. But with consistency, I believe you will feel better and stronger -- losing weight will go along with that. Increasing muscle mass has many benefits -- including that it burns more calories than fat at rest. Muscle also weighs more than fat so initially you may even gain weight because you're gaining muscle. A better gauge is to notice differences in how your clothes fit and how you feel. So start out by moving at your level. Your walking exercises are so good! I love that you have your Mom there. She's adorable! I was dumb and paid for another walking course. It wasn't geared to seniors and the app drained my cell battery. It wasn't on RUclips so had to try and exercise on my tiny cell phone screen. Disaster! It took me 10 emails to get out of the program and still had to pay $25 for the first month! I ordered myself a $6 step counter and found y'all on RUclips. I can keep up with your Mom so I'm fairly certain I'm doing my body some good. I'm 72 and very sedentary(?). I'm a couch potato! But you've got me moving. I'm also trying to lose weight but want to not feel so "old". I try to do a segment with y'all 4 times a week. I just started so I'll let you know how it's going. Thank you! I am a 58 year old man. I just had a heart stent put in back in April. I have arthritis in my low back and hips, so I needed exercises that would be doable. Between your workouts, and going for 1-2 mile walks, I feel like I am bettering my health. Thank you for your videos. 😁
