Man.i just discovered your re edits.genius!!! Keep them coming.love how your putting a new spin on a classic that's engraved in my dna.its like seeing it for the 1st time again.thank you
I used these clips in a fan edit of Superman 2 I made about 5 years ago. Granted it wasn't THESE clips. They were older edits Selutron made that he's not only revised since, but also they were only in 240p instead of 480p as these newer clips are. Also, I re-worked and further edited his clips to fit my personal tastes for my own edit (example: The clips of the villains in D.C. that Sel made happen pretty much all at once in my edit, and my opening uses his clip of him stopping both missiles, but it happens AFTER the opening credits recap). I plan on buying a new PC sometime in the future, one that has the capabilities to edit with Adobe, doing a 2nd draft of my edit of this film, and re-doing Sel's edits myself (animation and all), in full HD with the current blu-ray releases. I was hoping by now he'd have gotten this sucker released, but just like the very idea of fan editing itself, if you wanna get it done, you gotta do it yourself.
Jor-El’s Favourite Poem : • There are No Kings in Soviet Union; • No Medals or Orders of Merit in The Confederate Army; • Gallifrey Doesn’t Have any Crown Jewels; • There *aren’t* any Giant Spiders on Metebelis-3; • Vulcan HAS No Moon; • There is no Ship’s Parrot aboard The Mining Ship Red Dwarf; and - There are NO Trees - or vegetation of ANY kind - that grow ANYWHERE on the planet Krypton… even BEFORE it and it’s cool Red Sun blew up; Nor so are there any at The North Pole.
It took 3 years for Kal-El to reach Earth. But when he first entered the fortress of solitude, Jor-El said he had been gone for many thousands of his years. So Lex Luthor gets a tidbit of info about Krypton and just assumes that his 3 alpha waves are the Kryptonian Villains? Let us not forget that at this point it has been at least 31 years minimum that they were imprisoned. They were imprisoned right before the destruction of krypton. 3 years for Kal-El to reach Earth. 15 years with the Kents, 12 years with Jor-El in the fortress of solitude, and at least 1 year from the first movie. And Good old Lex just assumes that they escaped the phantom zone and happened upon Earth?
+Krang100 Yup, that was the whole point. In part 1, Luthor was in charge and had control over his lackey's. In this one, he became the lackey and the villains had control of him. It showed just how pitiful, pathetic and weak he was. He spends the entire 3rd act practically begging for his life.
+tylerdurden3891 Although he does garner favor with them by supplying them with information about Superman as well as gaining ownership of Australia in the process.
Come on, I'm prety sure that if Zod got rid of Supes, old Lex would have found a way to get rid of the Kryptonians... perhaps selling them real estate in a Red Sun planet.
Krang100 actually Lex pretty much controls Zod's actions for the last act of the film. Every attempt they make to shut him up or kill him leads to them following Lex's information.
John Curcio Lex needed Superman alive in order to ensure his own survival. Superman became Lex's strength. However, Lex's (and the kryptonians) power over Superman is what weakens Superman. Lex Luthor...IS...Superman's kyptonite. However, Superman needed Lex to go along with Superman's lie about the crystal chamber. Thus Superman saved both himself and the Earth by depowering them. Lex needed Supes, and Supes needed Lex.....and to think, all this symbolism WITHOUT the characters being forced to say expository dialogue with a bunch of cliche' terminologies that the so called "perfect" Chris Nolan Batman movies force down the audience's throats.
What I love about videos like this is that Sel was able to make a "happy medium' of footage/ideas from both versions of the film.

0:30 That's the old man. He looks just like the kid. ARE YOU THE OLD MAN?!? Ask him where the bathroom is? Shut up!
Why can't I find the clip where she says, "I FOUND IT!"?

Selutron superman ii jorel in the big crystal and Selutron superman ii in the dvd
South!, Miss Testmarker !!!!!!! I think.
now if only a group of people could do the full speech that Zod had in the Donner shooting script.
What was zods full speech
1979
It always bothered me it was never explained what happened to miss tessmocker
Donner’s version with Zod, Non and Ursa laying their hands on each other’s hands was kinda weird, this version is much better and more sinister.
a Warner tem que lançar uma nova versão com essa nova tecnologia, pois tenho certeza que seria campeã de venda !!!

What’s wrong with Donner’s take?
Who is doing the obvious Gene Hackman impersonation?
At the end it's obvious that's not his real voice

i don't like Luthor in this movie, because the movie turned Luthor into Zod's lackey.
