I am blown away by this production. Everyone nails it well, but the vocals man, wow. Len's ear is amazing, tough song to sing. The vocal melody and "bends" basically set the mood for this song and the instrumental that follows. Great job. Hat's off to all of you.
Back in the day, up until 1971, i had no idea who ELP was until i heard this song for the first time, believe it or not, on a Nescafé commercial, for a new brew they had....😂 But the thing that called my attention the most, was that synth solo by Keith Emerson.... So i went on to listen to some more of their stuff...When i stumbled into their rendition of Pictures At an Exhibition, i was like 🤔 Seriously?...I was bought for life...These guys were masters in their own freaking outstanding universe..! By the way, R.I.P. Keith & Greg..
Because I made a critical remark about your version of Karn Evil 9 part 3, I feel obliged to state here that this is the kind of perfection I was used to from ELP themselves . In the three ELP concerts I attended, this song was the start of a "breather" after about 45 minutes of pure ELP power. The perfection of Greg's guitar playing and singing made this song not only stand up, but rise above it, like the bird on the cover of their first studio album. Fantastic performance guys !
Very impressive, gentlemen. My wife lists EL&P as her favorite band after The Beatles. She is a tough customer when it comes to their music and she gave you an enthusiastic thumbs up.
Outstanding rendition in general but to know that you're probably not within 500 miles of each other is truly impressive. Best cover of this tune I have ever seen.
I've just come across your covers of ELP and all I can say is THANK YOU so much. I'm a drummer and Carl Palmer and ELP were such a huge influence on my playing and musical growth. I love every song. Note for Note. Nobody does that with ELP. Especially Emerson's keys. Wow. Keep up this project please, please, please. I'd love to hear Still you turn me on, and every song from Tarkus, and Triolgy at a minimum. Your Brain Solid Surgery work is EPIC!
Thanks! :-) As a midi controller I use my Hamichord, a Hammond-clone organ and for the Wurli sound the Roland A-33 masterkeyboard. You may see in these videos the same use of the Hamichord organ: ruclips.net/video/49_UFfZjb5s/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/QxowUPyMRbs/видео.html
Uh, I am getting very excited vthat people (musicians figured out ways to use multiple different tracks from all over the world, nix into a very fantastic cover of classic songs. All it takes is the HS internet
Hello I am making a Caving and Abandoned Mine Highlight Reel of 2021 all of our best snapshots for the year of our underground exploring, this is a perfect song to put with it, but I would like to ask your permission. It wouldnt give me a copyright strike either (I dont think so), It will be featured on this Channel of mine here and I would gladly put your info in the description as credit for the song. Can I have your permission to use this? The Video will be made January 1st. Thank you.
Great cover

Love this song, quite unusual for ELP because it's guitar-dominated (except synth solo in the very end). Perfectly nailed that "bird voice" synth

Hi, I asked my fellows and we have nothing against it. So, go ahead!... 🙂
Great reproduction, but Greg Lake sings with no voice vibratto. Emersons keyboard part is the highlight. Robert at 67.
Thanks for your comment! :-)
Sounds great ,bass is to low
Wow!
Thanks! 😃
