+1 ... the original version of this song the best. I think that Jon wrote it with Gene´s voice in mind, and that is why it sound so great and powerfull. btw, im too kind of tired of all these barlow-fanboys.
@greyoldfellow disagree.. i think the more powerfull verison ist the barlow version.. because of it`s variety in the refrain... and you have to admit.. that he's not the one who has got the 0 8 15 "voice-color" he got the perfect voice for this perfect band... it has nothing to do with "bein a barlow-fan".. it is a fact that he is a part of this whole band..
But this song sounds better with Gene's vocals... also with Colours, and Iced Earth. The same that the whole songs from Night of the Stormrider, are better with Greely. But is also true that both of them arent on par with Matt in live performance. Just my 2 cents.

matt barlow defenitely, he is a unique vocalist, the best in the whole metal genre by far, too bad hes a cop now, i men, good for him though
